7 Ways To Fix Roku Error Code 014.50 | Unable to connect to wireless network

  • Some Roku users have been experiencing 014.50 error code and stating on screen: “Unable to connect to wireless network”. Regardless of the cause, in this guide, i will be showing you how to resolve the error mentioned above so just follow through the given guidelines.
    Give me bug info, i will show you how to fix.

    Solution found: Tried unplugging, resetting and rebooting everything: router, TV and cable modem but nothing worked until I turned OFF the router's "Quality of Service (QoS)" parameter and instantly my TV was able to find the wireless network in a second. To confirm this was the cause, I tried turning QoS back on and repeating the wireless scan and again it could not find the wireless network. I'm not saying this is the solution for everybody, but if you've tried everything else...try turning OFF the router's "Quality of Service (QoS)" parameter.
    According to my manual: Quality of Service (QoS) refers to the capability of a network to provide better service to selected network traffic. The primary goal of QoS is to provide priority including dedicated bandwidth, controlled jitter and latency (required by some real-time and interactive traffic), and improved loss characteristics.

    The weird thing is I'm having this issues on my TCL 6 series woth roku built in...... I tried plugging in an Amazon fire stick.....its also not working to connect to the Internet when plugged into thr TCL 6 series tv.
    WiFi is working on every single other device in the home..... including other TCL TVs with roku built-in...any ideas??

    Nothing worked for me I gave up and plugged up my DVD player. Internet people coming in 2 days maybe they can figure it out.

    To those who tried all of these methods and they didn't work. there's one more that got my nieces to work. Step 1. Go to settings
    Step 2. Go to System
    Step 3. Got to advanced system settings
    Step 4. Press network connection reset
    Step 5. Let the Roku restart, input your wifi/network.
    Step 6. If the initial connection works, congratulations, skip this. But if error 009 press the restart option. Put in wifi/network password again it should work.
    If not then I am sorry but I cannot help.

    Roku is sorry good for nothing I change devices and still refuses to connect to wi fi ,I disconnect the router nothing the remote doesn’t do anything no home button working no menus of any kind 😅😅😅sick of trying
