Try to eat food in the below order will reduce the glucose spike
Take fiber first , then protein and fat lastly carb
I eat a bowl of salad or steamed broccoli
Then any protein (eggs, paneer ,tofu )
    Finally rice
You will see a big difference
Taking a walk after every meal also works. Good
If possible try to read the book glucose revolution by Jessie inchauspe

Indian eat a lot of carbs - white rice, refined wheat, pulses, white sugar based sweets etc… that’s the problem. Intermittent fasting helps! Eat after 11am or 12pm - and Don’t eat after 6-7pm. It feels hard in the beginning but it works. Two meals is more than enough. The more we eat the more hungry or urge we feel to eat. Weight loss definitely helps. I am not talking about exceptions.

HIGHLY INFORMATIVE VIDEO!! If you can kindly document for most common Tamil foods and do as a blog page, it will be very helpful for people to have a print out in hand.
Also, this can be used as a school project by your kids. (Can get creative and add food from local restaurants too/making sure there’s no copyright issues).
    Congratulations 🎉🎊
    👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Can you share your daily routine and food you ate every meal and how you avoided gestational diabetes this time around when you were pregnant at 39 😊

    • @lakshmig2061

@@L20241 I think yoga helped a lot to have a better relationship with food. Yoga a must to all pregnant woman in whatever little way they can customize and do. Water around 3 litres a day! Nuts ..almond and plenty of home made salads with sprouts. Only 1 cup of rice daily. No breads at all .1 cup coffee only. Eggs occasionally. To be honest there is more to gestational diabetes than diet..female or male fetus. Male more often diabetes than female. But diet helps other things along with keeping away diabetes.hope this helps. Good luck in your motherhood journey.
