Kevin Conroy even wanted a Batman Beyond sequel. I met him in Chicago before he passed and he signed all of my Arkham Series Collector Editions, DCUO Collectors Edition, and the Arkham Knight Batman PS4 system. He told me he had never signed a Batman Console before which was awesome. We talked about the end of Arkham Knight while he was signing the Arkham Knight System and the Arkham Knight Collector’s Edition which was a memorial to Batman watching over Gotham. He said that he wished they’d do a Batman Beyond sequel because in Arkham Knight the Knightfall Protocol has Bruce put down the cowl and we saw his allies carve out their own paths and Jason Todd retired the Batman-like Arkham Knight persona so it would make sense to do a time skip to a Gotham that needs a Batman and have Terry take up the mantle. While talking I asked if we would see or why we hadn’t seen anything Batman Beyond over the past 20 years except for that 75th short? He was as puzzled as I was that they weren’t utilizing Batman Beyond when there is clearly a huge following and popularity among fans. He said that he’d been wishing they’d call him and pitch a Beyond project be it a game or show or anything because he would be happy to return. I asked if he had any favorite Batman moments since he had nearly 30 years under his utility belt. He said Mask of the Phantasm, Batman Beyond, and Arkham Knight were some of the performances that gave him the most challenge and felt the most rewarding as they were some of his favorite acting performances through his career. He mentioned how in each we saw more depth, growth, and emotion and how it lead to moments he was really proud of. I’m fortunate that I got to meet him at a convention when it wasn’t overly packed, caught him during a moment when he surprisingly didn’t have a line and actually got to talk to both him and Loren Lester -Robin/Nightwing for awhile and was able to get pictures with them both. Kevin signed a dozen items of mine and I got to have a few conversations with him. I’ve been doing conventions for over 25 years now and honestly he was probably the most genuine and wholesome person I’d met and you can tell when talking to him that he was a huge fan just like the rest of us. If they do a sequel I hope they go the Terry McGinnis route and add a “For Kevin” tribute at the end.
Remember Terry McGinnis is a straight white male, Rocksteady is an extremely woke company taken over by Sweet Baby Inc. they will make a game like that for political reasons instead of honoring Kevin. Thankfully tho after SSKTJL bombed, Warner Bros. fired dozens of employees. But I would still prefer another company that actually cares about the franchise to make the game. I also hope Rocksteady ends up like Volition.

THIS GAME NEEDS TO BE A BATMAN BEYOND GAME. This universe of Batman was never explored fully, an open world with art design like Arkham Knight on new gen consoles would be a dream come true for Batman fans.
I want a Batman game where you are in the cave, putting on the suit, selecting gadgets you want to take with you on a mission, drive to Gotham and do detective work and try to silently take out cops because they aren’t our allies yet. And then within the story we start working with Gordon and stuff. A story that takes place within a longer period
They should just do a game for the justice league, or work up to that by doing individual league member games. There’s no reason Arkham series should’ve been turned into what SSKTJL was… literally the worse game that ive never played.

They should've made Batman: Arkham Beyond when Kevin Conroy was still alive. That would've been a good way to end his story and pass the mantle to a new Batman.

Honestly I think rocksteady wanted to make a batman beyond game, but didn’t get to, i can tell you, I believe rocksteady actually hinted at this in some way in “Arkham Knight” in founders island, the way the city is built is pretty odd. They have NEW Gotham on top of OLD Gotham, they designed new modern buildings on top of the old Gotham buildings, im pretty sure if they had made a “Arkham beyond” game, this concept WOULD OF BEEN AROUND THE ENTIRE MAP. i love the idea of Gotham basically rebuilding themselves by just elevating the ground and buildings ON TOP OF OLD GOTHAM. One map,with two different sides🔥🔥 the rich and poor, or the power and powerless

Batman arkham asylum is my best game ever. Loved everything about it, especially the scenery, City 2nd but I won't be disappointed if they did a full remake of Arkham or City but I would love a new bigger City with Arkham inside but alot more area's withing Arkham itself and Blackgate. Bring back Joker to somehow. But please don't bring the batmobile back! That just disappointed me in knight!

I seriously hope for a reboot, a fresh start.A GTA type game where you get to be Bruce in the day-time (running the Wayne empire, gathering dirt on the mob and shady businesses not just in gotham, but also ,metropolis,central city , and international cities!) also managing bruce's personal relationships and the challenges he faces in keeping his "other" identity a secret while fronting as the selfish billionaire play-boy everyone thinks he is . (making alliances and becoming the batman) the story would be a mystery-noir, similar to , batman year 1, the first two nolan films... the villain(s) that fit such a plot would include; kgbeast (in this iteration,he can be a communist sympathizer turned terrorist) black mask the falcone /maroni families (the mob) lex luther penguin the dealer (from the black mirror comic) the court of owls (done right)
I'm not sure this is the way to go. I think it will of course be like the past Arkham games, with new features. In terms of huge new mechanics, i would love to see the nemesis system introduced! It depends on the story but I would love to see more from the Bruce Wayne side. With a Batman Beyond game, we would definitely see more behind the mask. Maybe a God Of War style dynamic between Bruce & Damien, as Damien picks up the Mantel of The Batman Beyond as Bruce is still Old Man Batman like Project Sabbath!
I get the Arkham series is such a great series, but Id love to see Rocksteady switch to a new hero, they did a great job with Batman, but Id love to see a Superman, Flash, Green Lantern or an Aquaman game, or make a villian lead game, like a dark Deathstroke game...

Why don't they find a way to sort of retcon the events of Suicide squad in the opening. Then unveil an old post Arkham Batman alongside Terry Mcguinnes or whoever takes on the mantle of Batman Beyond. Either that or give us a sort of seperate canon via the Origins verse to make it happen if not a reboot. I personally think it needs to be rooted in the Arkham verse to hold enough weight.
Why would Suicide Squad need to be retconned? If you played the game and see where the story actually goes, you'd see there's no reason for a retcon. There's nothing wrong with the story. It's WB forcing microtransactions and a live service format. If Rocksteady was able to just make a team based game where you unlock stuff and actual story expansions, it would have been fine. But the nickel and diming weigh the game down along with the limited mission variations that play into the live service model. But the story was good. People just didn't want to give it a chance, which if you didn't because of the forced crap from WB, I get it.
Whatever it is it better not be I repeat it better not be a remake . if there smart it will be a batman beyond, origins sequel, or a reboot. or a reboot using origins as the first game thats there only 4 options . I also really would've loved a catwoman game . She was one of my favorite characters to play as in arkham cityaube we get inw if those later down the road

I always felt Arkham knight wasn’t enough - Gotham was tiny and although it had a cool asthetic it felt so lackluster in size and depth ( it felt like the gta vice city or the saints row 2 map ) and I was expecting something more in the Spider-Man ps4 realm from it. The story was also mid and so on which was sad because it seemed like it would be such a ginormous leap from Arkham city when it was actually more of a soulless reprint with a pretty badass Batmobile that u can’t drive that far because of the bad, small, limited map design. I’m so sad that rocksteady have cancelled / force their developers to cancel or shift their games like Batman beyond and superman and I feel like we deserve a really fantastic huge Batman Arkham game in the modern day with a ginormous map, a wicked story, twists, scared, emotion, expanded mechanics, modern graphics, textures, animations, perhaps a full free roam main story playable bat family that u can switch between ( maybe even like coop ? ) which was probably initially a plan for another game that got turned into Gotham knights which was a shambles, before we get a Batman beyond game. They could focus on maximising the capabilities of modern gen and play on the ending of knight and the fear toxin. Set it 5 years later or something and give Batman superhuman abilities like speeding down and morphing into a monster and shit that are technically jusy visions from the targets reaction to the fear toxin. Then they could take shit beyond in every sense of the word on next gen and absolutely blow the roof with an epic Damien Wayne, old bruce game in a futuristic metropolis Gotham with epic futuristic technology like mini teleport orbs and baterangs that split off like a shotgun shell into mini baterangs and surround and engulf a target, anti grav glider that the player can almost fly with. End the game in space or some shit to introduce the new expanded rocksteady dc universe so that it’s less of a shock when they actually bring in other more extravagant superheroes with actual ridiculous powers and shit without it being this regarded nonsensical pragmatic jump from grounded Arkham realism to ridiculous arcadey suicide squad kill the justice league shit. Also side note don’t fucking make that shit canon if they’re trying. Write it off. Bruce could have like bionic bone and limb implants so he’s like half robot to help with his mobility and stuff and could focus more on technology, science and intelligence in his older age, whereas Damien could focus on mobility. We deserve that after all these years please - don’t make a lackluster current gen Batman beyond game before you’ve even given us a really big badass normal Arkham game.

It depends on the story but I would love to see more from the Bruce Wayne side. With a Batman Beyond game, we would definitely see more behind the mask.

Why don't they find a way to sort of retcon the events of Suicide squad in the opening. Then unveil an old post Arkham Batman alongside Terry Mcguinnes or whoever takes on the mantle of Batman Beyond. Either that or give us a sort of seperate canon via the Origins verse to make it happen if not a reboot. I personally think it needs to be rooted in the Arkham verse to hold enough weight.
Why would Suicide Squad need to be retconned? If you played the game and see where the story actually goes, you'd see there's no reason for a retcon. There's nothing wrong with the story. It's WB forcing microtransactions and a live service format. If Rocksteady was able to just make a team based game where you unlock stuff and actual story expansions, it would have been fine. But the nickel and diming weigh the game down along with the limited mission variations that play into the live service model. But the story was good. People just didn't want to give it a chance, which if you didn't because of the forced crap from WB, I get it.

I always felt Arkham knight wasn’t enough - Gotham was tiny and although it had a cool asthetic it felt so lackluster in size and depth ( it felt like the gta vice city or the saints row 2 map ) and I was expecting something more in the Spider-Man ps4 realm from it. The story was also mid and so on which was sad because it seemed like it would be such a ginormous leap from Arkham city when it was actually more of a soulless reprint with a pretty badass Batmobile that u can’t drive that far because of the bad, small, limited map design. I’m so sad that rocksteady have cancelled / force their developers to cancel or shift their games like Batman beyond and superman and I feel like we deserve a really fantastic huge Batman Arkham game in the modern day with a ginormous map, a wicked story, twists, scared, emotion, expanded mechanics, modern graphics, textures, animations, perhaps a full free roam main story playable bat family that u can switch between ( maybe even like coop ? ) which was probably initially a plan for another game that got turned into Gotham knights which was a shambles, before we get a Batman beyond game. They could focus on maximising the capabilities of modern gen and play on the ending of knight and the fear toxin. Set it 5 years later or something and give Batman superhuman abilities like speeding down and morphing into a monster and shit that are technically jusy visions from the targets reaction to the fear toxin. Then they could take shit beyond in every sense of the word on next gen and absolutely blow the roof with an epic Damien Wayne, old bruce game in a futuristic metropolis Gotham with epic futuristic technology like mini teleport orbs and baterangs that split off like a shotgun shell into mini baterangs and surround and engulf a target, anti grav glider that the player can almost fly with. End the game in space or some shit to introduce the new expanded rocksteady dc universe so that it’s less of a shock when they actually bring in other more extravagant superheroes with actual ridiculous powers and shit without it being this regarded nonsensical pragmatic jump from grounded Arkham realism to ridiculous arcadey suicide squad kill the justice league shit. Also side note don’t fucking make that shit canon if they’re trying. Write it off. Bruce could have like bionic bone and limb implants so he’s like half robot to help with his mobility and stuff and could focus more on technology, science and intelligence in his older age, whereas Damien could focus on mobility. We deserve that after all these years please - don’t make a lackluster current gen Batman beyond game before you’ve even given us a really big badass normal Arkham game.
