WHOA! I went to bed with 205 views after 2 days (high performing video for my little ole channel), and woke up to 1,050 views.... WHAT?! Holy heckin, Batman! Thank you to everyone who's watched this review, I really do appreciate it! If you enjoyed this review, help me kick that algorithm in the face! Leave a comment, like, share, it helps more than you know! I put a lot of work into these videos, even the ridiculous ones (especially the ridiculous ones, lol). I really enjoy making these vids, I feel like reviewing and comparing hardware and different configurations is my calling. So any help I can get in reaching that goal as an every day thing, I truly appreciate! Also, forgot to mention in the video, this GPU was purchased for $550.00 USD (before tax/shipping). You're breathtaking!
WHOA! I mention this and the momentum stops.. What's up with that, RUclips? My video has plateaued since day 2. To be clear, I'm not ungrateful for the views I'm getting on this video, I really appreciate the support you've all given by watching my ridiculous videos! But something seems to have set off YT's "alarm bells" and my video has stalled. So, if you're a fan, if you're new and you like this video or my other videos, please, like and share! It really helps my channel. Thank you all, you're all awesome!
Not gonna lie kinda love how this guy talks like a gamer/hobby person and sounds normal compared to most tech channels who have a high level of "Nerd" talk. adding to my list of channels to watch.
There's definitely a place for the more in depth technical analysis, and I appreciate the channels that do. A lot of work goes into what they do. But from the start, I wanted this channel to be informative, but easy to understand. If I just throw numbers at people, it's going to be boring, and it won't be enjoyable for me to make, either. Plus, I'm a consumer just as much as anyone else, this all comes out of my own time and money. It's important to me to know whether or not this product makes sense.
Thanks! I really appreciate that! I'm sure I miss pieces of info here and there, but I do my best to cover as much data as is at my disposal and give an honest account of my experience.
Didn’t even notice your sub count until I read the comment. Your presentation style is that of a tenured vet or large channel so keep it up. I was listening to the explanation while working
I dunno about that, but I appreciate your kind words and support! I mainly just try to present the information simply, so it's easy to understand and have a little fun with it.
I know it's late but man, what a great review. You did a good job covering all the angles and presented it well. I just purchased this card yesterday after learning my 6600xt was only pci x 8 : ( Sad really, besides you, no one I watch including Gamers Nexus or Hardware unboxed mentioned this in their reviews that I had seen when getting that card. Thanks for the effort in bringing this to us. Subed and liked!
Hey, no problem! It came up when I was researching AMD GPUs for my own purchase. I thought it would be good to include for anyone that was concerned about it. Luckily, these GPUs use full PCI-E x16.
Very cool! I'm glad prices are a little better for the holidays. Some of these prices are where they should be, in my opinion. Perfect time to get a good deal!
You've earned a new subscriber as you went into such excruciating details basically everything I wanted to know about this gpu you showed it to me so thank you so much for putting such effort for those of us who are looking at these gpus. You really help us make decisions.
Thanks! I appreciate that :). It takes a lot to put these videos together, knowing it helps others with their purchasing decisions makes it worth it! Thank you for the Sub!
I really enjoyed this video. You have a smooth voice that made this video enjoyable. I normally can not finish long videos that tests GPU in many games, but your style was so good I enjoyed it. Amazing channel.
I bought this exact card a few days ago, and will be running it with a 3900X as workhorse, 3rd-in-line gaming PC. Not much run time yet, but so far I don't find it unduly loud. All PC fans are loud at about 75% and higher.
I've mentioned in other comments, that it could be that my sample is the odd one out, it's entirely possible. But mine gets quite loud between 50-60% fan speed. The cooling is quite good at 50% though, so it's not a huge deal.
Great review, I wanna say a few things first I think the fan-related issue might be just a unit thing, I bought this GPU after seeing your review and I live in a pretty hot area with no ac which means the fans are usually running at around 55-67% while gaming and in my unit they are super quiet I can't even hear the card working. Second, for those that do video editing in Davinci this card works as expected I replaced my 5700 xt with it and actually noticed an improvement in Davinci Resolved while video scrubbing everything is way smoother. I don't have adobe so can't test that but for Davinci, it works as expected.
Cool, I'm glad you got a boost in DaVinci. I'm hoping more people can give more feedback on it here so others can see it and decide. In my use case with Powerdirector, it was a downgrade, BUT, I've read it doesn't utilize OpenCL super well, so I'm not too surprised. I'd still love to be able to compare to nVidia directly in other software, just to know for sure. As far as the fans, it's entirely possible it's just unit variance, but I also don't know how common that variance is/will be. I can only report on my own experience. Like I'd mentioned, below ~50% fan speed, it was very quiet, at ~60% it was about as loud at my 3080 Ti @80% fan speed. This 6750 at ~70% fan speed was as loud as my 3080 Ti @100%. Above that it just got much louder. If there are other people who can comment on this, and it turns out to be that mine is the odd one out, I'll probably try to RMA and do a follow up on it. Thanks for your feedback, I appreciate it!
@@MrMatt3046 With the sample I purchased, the fans are quite loud above 50-60% fan speed, but cooling doesn't improve greatly past 60-70% fan speed for me. Though it could partly be due to running my vertically.
@@hardlytech9072 Mines not vertical but it's only got about an inch of space under it. I don't know if that is contributing to the noise. It seems to be sitting at around 88 degrees under load. I also found that higher fan speeds didn't make a difference
@@MrMatt3046 Yeah, that's why I recommended staying around 50-60% fan speed. But, I'm sure there's a scenario that higher fan speed helps, I just haven't found it yet.
thank u very much. best review so far and quite entertaining. most of the people just skip everything and go straight to gaming benchmarks, which is obsolete in my opinion, because the all the cards performe same and i really dont care about how much fps it gets on what games without telling me how it performs temperature and noise wise (fan speed).
I'm hoping that as the channel grows, I'll be able to get some better equipment to help measure noise and airflow better, so I can present more accurate data. Yeah, I get where you're coming from. I appreciate those channels that just jump into benchmarks for what they are, I have nothing against them. But sometimes even I, myself, am looking for the nuances of each component and can't find that information. That's where the inspiration for this channel comes from.
I just picked up the 6750xt for $449 and I’m excited! It’s the first AMD card I’ve owned since the Radeon HD 6850 all the way back in 2011 😂 thanks for the amazing review! I’m surprised you don’t have so many more subs, this was a fantastic analysis.
Hey, thanks for your kind words, I appreciate that! It's the first AMD GPU I've owned since the 7950 XT, so I definitely understand what that's like 👍. I hope it works out well for you!
Go the Sapphire Nitro+ model three days ago upgraded from an rx 5600 xt and the fans are barely audible on 50 percent. I am very happy with the performance of the card :D
Very happy to come across this review. I've been thinking about AMD GPUs recently. That video editing thing really clinched it for me. Much appreciated!
Thanks for watching and your kind words! It's a solid GPU, it can handle 1080p/1440p editing fairly well, mostly smoothly. When you start adding effects it begins to slow down a lot during scrubbing and you can end up with playback sync issues. 4k tends to be hard on this one especially, but as far as I've heard and read, programs like DaVinci Resolve make better use of OpenCL, and do better with AMD GPU's than programs like Premiere Pro or Powerdirector. That said, nVidia still has an advantage in most programs.
Thanks I appreciate that! I've also heard good things about Resolve and AMD. I'm currently trying out Adobe's software, so far performance is better than with Powerdirector, but a little behind nVidia, still. Much better overall though.
I just build a PC a few months ago using an APU with my intention being that the APU would hold me over so that I wouldn't over pay for a GPU. This card dropped and was right within the price range I wanted to pay and had already liked these XFX merc319 so I pulled the trigger. It should be here tomorrow!
@@hardlytech9072 I'm loving it! I just went from playing valheim on my 5700g's vega 8 integrated graphics to this. Obviously a major set up. Valheim looks amazing with the graphics turned up! This is my first gaming PC in 10 years and the first time I built it myself. I am really happy with the results.
@@zq7246 That's awesome! I'm really happy everything worked out. I actually have a 5600g at my disposal that I'm wanting to do a series of videos on, I just have to find extra time, lol.
@@hardlytech9072 The APUs are pretty handy if you don't want to buy a GPU right away. It allowed me to build a PC with good hardware without breaking the bank, play games and then wait until I saw a good deal on a GPU. I am actually really happy that all of the next gen amd CPUs are APUs with RDNA2 no less. When I decided to build another PC it will make life easier that's for sure. It's also pretty handy to have a back up GPU built in.
@@zq7246 I haven't had the chance to mess around with the 5600g yet, but I'm looking forward to it. I'm also really looking forward to AMD's next line of CPU's. I'm hoping with DDR5, the iGPU portion of the APU's will be able to do at least console level graphics at 1080p. I think a lot of people would be happy with an all in one chipset that can do at least that much.
have been considering buying a 319 and after seeing the temperatures yours was running at compared to the MSI & ASUS twins I'm sold! Looks good, keeps cool and from what you say it might even been quiet! Winner.
It has been a very solid GPU for me so far. My only real complain is the video editing side of things. But as far as gaming goes, it's good! Thanks for watching!
Just picked up a 6 month used 6750xt XFX in excellent shape with all the retail packaging for $200 this morning. Even had the plastic wrap still on it. I left a 6600xt listing up for a while for $200 and finally someone offered $180 about 2months ago. So been holding onto that cash for the next deal. Put a old GTX1080 in its place as a place holder. So not a bad $20 upgrade going from a 6600XT to 6750XT. Certainly a better cooler then my Gigabye 6700xt Gaming OC and Eagle versions. But much larger so it limited which PC I could install it in.
I got this card on a complete whim. I already had a 6900XT, 6600XT, and 6500XT. Decided why not have one of every Navi-20 series chips? It’s found its way into a mini-ITX build I use for travel. Sweet card for that purpose!
Awesome! I'm glad you were able to get it at a decent price, all things considered. Let me know what you think of performance once you get it all set up!

@@mattia9374 I mean you can look for reviews, specially with smart access memory activated if you have an AMD CPU, and with the new drivers, for example if you do anything with Adobe or blender then Nvidia is normally better, for my money I got the 6750 because it was cheaper, also I prefer AMD in general before intel or Nvidia, if those are the prices I would and did choose the 6750, in this market at least as it is in Spain I wouldn't worry too much about any one in particular, if it's a good price and you like the brand go for it
Great review, thanks ! I can get a good deal on this card here in Thailand but the 3060ti is about the same price. Maybe i'll get into video editing later so..... ill go check out some more review because i do like the 12GB, choices choices. Plus you have a new subscriber.
Thanks for the sub, I appreciate the support! That's a tough call, 3060 Ti vs 6750 XT.. depends on what you'll be doing and if you want to play with Ray Tracing. Ray Tracing is decent on 3060 Ti, about on par with the 2080/S. DLSS is nice, but FSR is starting to catch up a bit.
Very cool! That's a fantastic deal. I paid almost double that for mine (back when prices were much higher). I'm glad you got a great deal. Thanks for watching!
Thanks, I appreciate that! I will say, the problem with AMD Adrenaline Software setting an Auto Overclock on my CPU only happened during the first time installing the GPU. It hasn't happened since. It may have been a first install issue or just a random bug, it just kinda rubbed me the wrong way at the time.
Nice review! Adding up on the video editing part, the full computing performance of AMD GPUs is only taken advantage of by DaVinci Resolve at the moment. Premiere is considerably better than PowerDirector on that regard, but not as good as Resolve.
It's definitely a solid Gaming GPU. Editing is slightly behind the RTX 3060 in my experience with both Powerdirector and Premiere Pro. Though to be fair, I haven't tried DaVinci Resolve yet, I hope to in the future though! I do hear good things.
By mistake I purchase this 6750 XT for $409 in 2023 for a 6950 XT which is priced at $699. Really aiming for the 4090, but it is too expensive atm. I Might just keep the 6750 until Black Friday this year to see if the price for the 4090 comes down to the MSRP price.
Sorry I didn't see your comment sooner. I definitely understand wanting to upgrade and get your money's worth! I've been waiting for prices to come down as well. Looks like it's going to be a tough year for upgrades.
I bought a 6750 XT because I had a RTX 2080 Founders and the performance was almost double. The box I got was not only fancy but it came with a mouse pad. Because I ordered it from AMD directly it was more fancy than yours. Under non gaming loads, such as video watching the fans never run as the cooling of the heatsink was enough. I had run this card in an older build and while I was using a 1k Watt power supply the system couldn't handle the card under gaming load. Again, old system. My new system also uses the Ryzen 9 7950X and my power supply is still 1k Watt (newer). If I need I'll order a 1200 Watt or higher. I play at 4K on a Samsung UHDTV. 60fps is my limit. This is fine because I can't find a 4K monitor that's LED and large enough with enough HDMI ports for all my consoles. Haven't found one with 8 ports yet.
Sitting here during my break at work dreaming of one day building my own dream PC. I am so happy I found this video and you definitely have a new sub and like. Awesome video and thanks for giving me the info I needed with choosing my GPU. Now for the real problem......money.... XD
Money is definitely a factor, especially with prices so high right now for GPU's. Kinda makes me sad, tbh. I remember when xx60/600 series GPU's used to cost between $150-$250. Hopefully at some point in the future, we'll get back to that kind of value. But, hey, thanks for watching and subbing, I really appreciate your support!
Hello, very nice review!! i like that gpu, i have a question. which PSU should i use? which ones do you recommend? i wonder about the connectors. thanks
There are a lot of PSU's to choose from. I would start with figuring out how much power your system will draw, in total, then choose a PSU that is rated above that. As far as recommendations, I prefer to stick with Seasonic, Corsair and EVGA. They all tend to have high quality components and good warranties and RMA procedures.
Thanks for this awesome review, this is the first time I saw a GPU review without skiping any part of it very engaging and entertaining. Just picked sapphire 6750Xt card at 445$ waiting for it to be delivered.
I dis forget to mention if this GPU uses an x8 or x16 PCI-E trace, it does indeed use an x16 trace, thankfully! I appreciate your kind words and thanks for watching! I appreciate it.
Worth mentioning for CS, local bots tend to use more CPU power than a traditional match and can lower framerates because of it, but still fantastic video, appreciate you!
@@hardlytech9072 Yeah am loving it! I have the QICK...I am surprised how much better than then 6700 XT it performs...It get's almost 6800 (non XT) performance!
@@iitzfizz Yeah, it's a solid GPU, especially at 1080p/1440p. Some games it's not much faster than a standard 6700 XT, in some it's faster than the 6800 due to its clock speed. I'm hoping the rumors about the 8000 series GPU's are true, if so, we should see a pretty solid increase in performance.
Hi, since you was so kind to reach me out i'll explain what's happened: today i was searching for a review of the 6750xt merc319 and i found this video and then your "performance preview" video of this card. I was just leaving a comment like "hey i like this card and i found the review funny but a lot useful" 😂
@@Bsc8 I'm not sure what happened, YT doesn't tell me why the comment was removed, I didn't see anything wrong with it. BUT as for which GPU to purchase, I'd say either get the best that's within your budget, or honestly, try to hold out for just a few months. AMD and nVidia will both be releasing new lines of GPU's this fall. If you can't hold off an want something now, I think the 6750 XT will hold you over just fine. RTX performance isn't as good as nVidia, but Rasterized performance seems to be on par with the RTX 3070. My only other note would be, if you produce video's I would stick with nVidia for the time being, if their GPU's are within your budget.
Nice review! Have the quik 319 model ordered for this and really looking forward to it. Was using a laptop with 2060 mobile GPU until it died so this is going to be a nice upgrade! I have noticed some huge disparencies in the rx6750xt reviews. Most place it around 3070 levels outside of raytracing but there are some reviews which have terrible performance comparisons. Read a review this morning which had the 3060ti beating this card by large margins in the majority of games which didn't make any sense given other comparisons I have seen. Wonder what is causing such large disparencies?
Awesome, I hope you enjoy your new GPU! As for performance, in my own testing, it places between the 3060 Ti and the 3070. The discrepancies could be from a number of causes. Could be that certain cards have the same problem some of the 6700 XT's have. Some only have PCI-E X8 trace on the card. Could be that some might be running without S.A.M. enabled. It's hard to say. It's the reason I try to give as much information up front as possible when I do my reviews. It adds to the run time, but I think it helps when someone's trying to make a purchasing decision.
@@hardlytech9072 hey mate nice video btw, do you think this GPU will fit in a microATX pc case or not ? It has triple fans im a bit worried , asking around before buying it
@@MightyxBALTi It depends on the case tbh. This GPU is ~323mm/12.72in long. It would barely fit in something like the NR200 cases, but you'd need to use an SFX PSU and good cable management.
Great review, getting this GPU next days to upgrade over MSI 1070ti gaming, I was supposed to wait for next generation GPUs but having bought a G70A monitor didn't help to make the wait more bearable, just want to see that monitor shine. That's pretty solid! When I OC mine I can run between 2777 - 2800mhz depending on the game. The vRam, for me, gets unstable above 2.3Ghz so I keep it right about 2298 most of the time.
@@hardlytech9072 Did you get a fatal WHEA for "Cache Hierarchy Error" with VRAM past 2.3? For me, at least with Navi10, unstable VRAM caused that WHEA error, with that reason! Great Video. What is your opinion on this card 5 months on? I am debating pulling the trigger on a 6750 now rather than getting a 3080ti or a 6950 just because I only have a 760W PSU and I dont want to upgrade PSU and GPU together. I only really play WoW and Valorant @ 240hz. I'm guessing this card would be perfect?
I still think it's a good GPU. Personally, since I play at 4k, I'd like something a little more powerful, but there are more GPU's being released soon, so hopefully competition (and prices) will keep coming down. I think you'd be fine with this GPU for WoW and Valorant, neither game is super demanding. Depending on the quality of your PSU, you could probably run something like up to the 3070/Ti or a RX 6800/XT.
Hey dude, love the videos! Just wanna ask if the MSI 6750 XT Gaming X TRIO is also a good GPU since I've heard many mixed reviews about it. It's also a 3-fan GPU so I'm not sure if it'll be loud or not 😅. Thanks! 👍
MSI isn't the best option for quality, outside if their top tier GPU options. But, if you're on a budget, and you don't intend to do much, or any overclocking, they do just fine. When I look for a GPU for myself, I look at the GPU's warranty, and how the company handles their RMA claims. Then I like to look at their heatsink design (density of the fin-stacks, airflow configuration of the fans, power regulation on the pcb). My XFX being loud may have been an outlier, but I believe it has to do with the fins being so close together and the fans moving a lot of air.
@hardlytech9072 👍 Thanks for replying dude! But, no, I don't really plan to overclock at all with my gpu since I'll be mainly using it for gaming. The reason why I wanted MSI was just because it looked more aesthetically pleasing compared to XFX's card. However, I've read many reviews about how they handle RMA claims, and let's just say they're a bit.. mixed? Bad on the most part, though, which has made me rethink my decision since I want my first PC build to be a clean one! So.. I'm asking you, a guy who owns the XFX 6750xt, should I buy MSI or XFX? Appreciate it man 😁💪
Can you explain to me the issue of 6700's only running on x8? I recently put together a build for a friend using an RX 6700 XT and that statement has me a bit worried
There's not much more to say than what was covered in the review. The decrease in bandwidth can affect max performance, but it won't be a huge difference (any loss in performance sucks, though). There are a few good videos on the topic on YT, and threads online. Luckily this GPU features full PCI-E 16X 4.0. If you want to look into the card you purchased for your friend, you can download GPU-Z on their PC and run it. It will show you what bandwidth the GPU is running at in real time. Keep in mind, if the GPU isn't being utilized fully, it may not use all 16 lanes, so it would be best to run it in the background, then start a game and see what GPU-Z says.
hi bro thanks for the great video but i have a question i wanna but the rx 6750xt but i see a lot of brands like the xfx qick and merc, PowerColor Red Devil , gigabyte and the price also changes i wanna know is there a difference between them in performance cuz im looking to buy the merc 319 just like the one in the video??
There isn't a big difference in performance between most of the 6750 XT's. The Red Devil and the Qick/Merc have good capacitors and mosfets, and huge coolers, so they tend to overclock well. The vRam though, can't overclock much as the GDDR6 on these cards are already near their max capability.
The coil whine tho, maan imagine a nigthmare. Just got this same model for 365 euros, packing it up to send back, performance wise it's amazing I just can't stand coil whine, and this one is just insane.. if I don't lock my fps at 60 that thing screams like crazy and it makes no sense at all to have a gpu that can delivery 100+fps most of the time locked at 60. But it's a really impressive card when it comes to raw perfomance
Well, that's not good, sorry you're having problems with yours. Thankfully, I haven't experienced any coil whine with mine *knock on wood*. It's a solid GPU otherwise.

That's a tough one. The 6800 XT usually performs better, but there are a few games where the 6750 XT takes a small lead. If the price is good on a 6800 XT, I'd probably go with that, at this point. Or if you don't mind saving a little money, the 6700 XT isn't far behind the 6750 XT.
@@Abdullah______ That's always an option too! I'm hoping they are worth the wait. I'm a little disappointed it's taken this long for AMD to start releasing the rest of their GPU's for this gen.
How did you manage to get such low temps on this GPU? I undervolted mine, does not consumer over 190W because when I set it to 2750Mhz it went over 100 Celsius on hotspot... Now I set it to 2685Mhz with 1145 Voltahe and I still get around 66-70 celsius and 84-90 Junction...
@@TheDiagoz1 I have good case airflow and a manual fan speed ramp. Otherwise, I haven't undervolted or anything. I might have just received a good one?
This will be my next gpu once prices come down to a reasonable level next fall (still rocking my xfx rx 5700xt thicc iii atm). Still playing games at 1080p atm too. I don't render videos for uploading nor use ray tracing in my games, so it isn't an issue for me.
@@viibecity The difference is mostly visual, they have a different shroud design on the outside, but the fans and functions are the same. Otherwise, there's a very marginal difference in the reference clock speeds, due to ever so slightly better binning for the Merc cards. If there's a difference in price, and you're considering one of these models, I'd get whichever costs less, the performance is basically the same.
To your point about editing - Vegas Edit stopped picking up my. 6900 XT on the new drivers….. crazy how I have to render on the CPU, codec doesn’t even show up
That's not good to hear. Is there any possibility re-installing Vegas and or the drivers as well, would solve the problem? Editing prowess is the main thing holding me back from wanting to use this GPU as a daily driver. Whether it be on each software developer or AMD themselves, or some lack of communication or hindering competitive practice from other manufacturers.. It would be nice to have a fully developed software suite that can compete with nVidia on all fronts.
@@hardlytech9072 the driver I tried I’m honestly too lazy to reinstall Vegas however I read on the forums that it didn’t work either. My render time went from 2-3 minutes on a 7-10 minute video to about 6-10 minutes. 5900X was the build but since grabbing a 6750 XT I’m going to give it a shot and worst case I threw that one in the 12900K build and would render on the iGPU
@@FIVESTRZ That's disappointing.. hopefully there will be a fix at some point in the near future. But hey, at least you'll have some use for the new GPU!
Is a 5700x3d with a Rx 7700xt with a 600w gold psu enough for 1080p? I currently use a Gtx 1660OC that consumes its maximum 125w of power, I don't believe that another 100w makes a difference in a good 600w gold psu.
You should be perfectly fine with that 600w psu. I'd only be concerned if it was really old or something. You probably have a lot of overhead with your current setup.
I don't see anything particularly wrong or bad about the Asrock. From what I can tell, you should be able to get comparable performance and experience from both. I'd go with whichever comes in at the better price.
Sooooo... small question (if you're still keeping an eye on this over a year later...) - I slotted one of these into a PC I built for my son, and didn't spot all of the peely bits. Is there any potential issue with leaving some of them on? I only removed the one over the writing on the side!
In response to your observations with video editing I have a couple of questions. Have you ever tried using Black Magic Designs DaVinci Resolve? Also have you ever tried using AMD Pro Drivers? I recently watched a video about fixes found with using AMD GPUs that mentioned trying out the PRO Drivers. They mentioned something I was not aware of is that you can use the Pro Drivers with any AMD GPU. I do not know if this would make any difference or not but may be worth trying. I have an older system that has a Ryzen 9 5950x CPU and a Radeon 7 GPU. I do not know how using the Adrenalian Drivers preform as I have always used the PRO Drivers. I use DaVinci Resolve Studio for video editing and have gotten decent performance, using an Nvidia card with CUDA is faster. However when I built my system I do not do video editing as a job and built an all AMD system because I did not like the way Intel and Nvidia did business. This has not changed except AMD has in many ways joined them. I was looking forward to upgrading my GPU but due to all of the OUTRAGEOUS pricing I have decided to skip this generation of PC components. Just because new stuff that is faster does not stop my current PC from working.
So, I have tried the AMD pro drivers, for me, it didn't help with stability or performance for editing, but that doesn't mean that it wouldn't help someone else! I haven't tried DaVinci Resolve, but I've read good things and do want to try it out at some point. I've been using Adobe, but I'm not completely satisfied with it, tbh.
@@hardlytech9072 Yes Adobe only works well with Nvidia CUDA. If you use any gpu that does not have CUDA you will have terribile performance. I stopped using Adobe software when they went with their software rental business model. If you try out DaVinci Resolve even though their free version is fully functional it is not as fast as their Studio version. In the free version they use open source encoding software where as the Resolve Studio uses better encoders. In comparison to Adobe, Resolve does everything that 3 or 4 Adobe applications that are needed for video production like audio and special effects, sorry but I cannot remember their names. The Studio license is only 350 dollars for a perpetual license. After you buy it you get all future updates for free. Their are tons of fades and wipes that are included as well as utilizing all the hardware you give it like multiple GPU's. Black Magic Design mainly makes cameras and other hardware like very expensive video editing work stations. DaVinci Resolve started out as professionale color grading software that has been used a lot in Hollywood and over the years new features have been added. Watch some of the DaVinci Resolve tutorials as well as videos comparing the free version with the Studio version. Because they have the free version you can check it out to see if you like it. Just keep in mind that it works different it is not Adobe. Another positive for me is that Resolve runs natively on Windows, Mac OS as well as Linux. I recently discovered that due to the efforts of the Valve Corporation the majority of the games in my PC game libraries both on Steam as well as GOG now run great on Linux even though the majority are Windows games. Due to this I have now stopped using Windows 10 and I have installed Grauda Linux. When I decided to learn video editing as well as music production I chose Resolve for video and Bit Wig Studio because the both run natively on Linux.
I'm not really sure what you're trying to say. Yes, vRam 'allocation' and vRam usage depends on each game, that is true. Having more than 8GB is going to be beneficial going forward, it already is in a number of games, even at 1080p/1440p in some instances.
This card is on sale right now for 399 euros, should I get it? Now I have 5700XT, is it a good upgrade? And what's the difference between 'ULTRA' and 'CORE'?
Sorry for the late reply. The RX 6750 XT generally performs between 40-60% faster than the RX 5700 XT. Usually when I upgrade for my own personal rig, I try to wait until I get closer to double performance from what I have at the time. But a ~50% performance boost is still really good. And the extra 4GB of vRam doesn't hurt, expecially at higher resolutions. Core vs Ultra - Ultra has higher base, boost and gaming clock speeds. Not a lot higher, but still higher from the factory. It used to be that they also used different capacitors and mosfets for better power regulation. But from what I can tell, they're the same cards with different boost clocks.
so how much better is this than an RX580? thats what im rockin. tried the RX5700xt... and it failed after about 40 days... so yeah. hesitant to upgrade again. mobo is prime b450M-A smaller case so unless i upgrade the case as well. 32gb corsair. R5 3600. 850w 80 plus gold.
Component failures always cause a headache, I've dealt with my share of the over the years. As far as performance difference, the RX 6750 XT should offer, in most cases, more than double the performance of the RX 580. Depending on your case, you may need a larger one. This GPU is ~323mm long, and barely fits in my wife's NR200. Temps are great though, the cooler on this GPU is quite good.
Each manufacturer uses different fans and fin stack configurations. But, the MSI 3060 Ti that I'd reviewed, I beleive has the same/similar fans as the GPU you ordered, so I imagine the fans will be a bit quieter at 70-100% fan speed than this one. That said, I rarely need the fans on this GPU over 50-60%.
I know this is 10 months later and I'm not sure if amd has made any improvements, but I edit in Premiere a lot with a Strix rx 6650xt and I have had no problems even editing 4k footage.
That's good to hear! I also edit in 4k, raw files. But when I add multiple video streams, audio streams and effects I start having problems with playback and scrubbing. Even if I reduce the recorded video file resolution. I've used proxy files a few times and that alleviated the problems, but with nVidia, I have much smoother performance.
@@krejn In fairness, though, it is possible performance has improved on the editing software side of things. I'm hoping AMD can close the gap with mVidia in more widely used programs, the competition is needed!
Hey great review. Got a question though @ 20:53 you mention that it has faster gddr6 memory. Correct me if im wrong but the 3060 ti has faster memory and the rx 6800. This memory is more on par with the speed of the 3060 right? I am ordering a 6700 xt with a 5600x. Just curious about this point in the video because idk if that's true or not.
ahhh is the reason it's faster memory because its the same memory just oc'd from the factory more for the 50 series...IF that's the case I will still go with the 6700 and just oc the memory myself..
@@dakbassett I was saying that the RX 6750 XT's vRam is faster compared to the RX 6700 XT. @@dakbassett Hey, thanks! I appreciate the support! Yeah, memory is technically faster but on a narrower bus. But it has more memory *shrug*. Not that the extra vRam hurts, especially with game worlds getting larger and more detailed. It will be interesting to see how they hold up for sure!
Hi, nice video, i was thinking about selling my 3060 and spend like 200 bucks to buy that gpu, but is it worth it? Or will i lose too much nvidia features and it won't be worth it? Because i wanted a better gpu for 1440p gaming, and i can't go for a 3070 since it's way more expensive and i will have a bottleneck of 11%, so any advice?
So, the 6750 XT is definitely faster. But I don't know if I'd make that purchase, myself. I'm not telling you not to, if the performance bump is enough to get your framerate/game settings where you want them, then that's what matters! But generally, the 6750 XT sits between the 3060 Ti and the 3070 in performance. If you're using DLSS a lot, or if you're editing videos, the 3060 will be better for your use case.
@@hardlytech9072 thanks for the reply, i think im going for yhe rx 6800, it'd the same price in my country, even a bit cheaper and has better performances in most games at 1440p, also only 4% bottleneck calculated, AND last thing, 16gigs vram instead of 8 for the 3070, i will gain way more for cheaper with the rx 6800, thanks for your reply tho :)
@@drawingcorp.2372 Hey, that's awesome! That's a much better performance bump, especially for the price. Depending on what you're playing, the bottleneck won't really be noticeable, which is good. Let me know if the 6800 works out for you!
just saying ur AIO cpu pump should be at the bottom so bottom mounting the AIO radiator can decrease temps or even make it louder so i would say put the radiator on the top of the case
The radiator is side mounted in my case with tube inlet/outlets at the bottom. The bottom of my case has 3 120mm fans blowing directly across the bottom of the GPU flowing up to the top 3 120mm fans blowing out of the case.

After over clocking mine get loud.
But, I'm sure there's a scenario that higher fan speed helps, I just haven't found it yet.

best review so far and quite entertaining.
most of the people just skip everything and go straight to gaming benchmarks, which is obsolete in my opinion, because the all the cards performe same and i really dont care about how much fps it gets on what games without telling me how it performs temperature and noise wise (fan speed).

For video editing I think DaVinci Resolve takes good advantage of AMD cards. Very transparent and honest review, thanks.
Thanks I appreciate that! I've also heard good things about Resolve and AMD. I'm currently trying out Adobe's software, so far performance is better than with Powerdirector, but a little behind nVidia, still. Much better overall though.

I do hear good things.
i have the 6750XT Red Devil and i like this card.
Hey, that's pretty cool, glad you're enjoying your new build!
1kwatt? i have a 750w and its fine
This is a great 1080p card. Recommending this to all my friends now
It's quite capable at 1080p/1440p. Hope you enjoy it!

YT doenst make me post on the other video of this card idk why 🤷
I appreciate you taking the time to post again! I didn't want to just leave you hangin.
@@hardlytech9072 your're welcome! thanks for everything, i think i'll wait a bit more then :)
@@Bsc8 There are rumors circulating that nVidia may release their next line of GPUs slightly ahead of schedule. I'm hoping they do!

BTW I have a 5800x CPU to pair with the GPU, but you said something about direct access memory or whatever the name it is.
@@TheLalozzy001 Hey, thank you for the Sub, I really appreciate it!
I would just say to enable SAM to ensure you're getting the most out of your GPU. If you're not comfortable with overclocking, it will still perform well (no OC in this video).
If you're up for it, you can take a look at AMD's Adrenaline Software, there are some "Auto Overclock" features that can help if you don't feel like you're getting enough out of your GPU.

I have the Sapphire Nitro+ version, which is in the same league of variants. The Sapphire Nitro+ would regularly at default, go to 2.7 GHz, OTOH. I see up to 2730 MHz on mine.
I do know that another symptom, which would be a classic one, is that frames are being skipped. It's possible that the screen goes back and then only shows the benchmark results screen, when finished, LOL. 😂 That was with 3D Mark 2001 SE with GeForce 4 Ti 4200 back in the later-'00s. Lines flashing like an old film is another symptom I saw in the past, too.
@@RJARRRPCGP Not as far as I was able to find at the time. But I did get the driver drop out (black screen, Display Driver reset etc.). Luckily it wasn't anything major, just unfortunate that the vRam is already pushed as far as it can go.

@@hardlytech9072 GPU-Z showed that it's PCI-E 4.0 X16 for my Sapphire Nitro+.

Sooooo... small question (if you're still keeping an eye on this over a year later...) - I slotted one of these into a PC I built for my son, and didn't spot all of the peely bits.
The 4K VRAM is allocated based on the game knowing there is more then 8GB for what I found out on JTC videos.
Temps are great though, the cooler on this GPU is quite good.
hey do you know if the different versions have different loudness? i just got the msi 3 fan for 550 euro and its coming january man im hyped
@@hardlytech9072 yeah the nvenc encoder is much more powerful
@@krejn In fairness, though, it is possible performance has improved on the editing software side of things. I'm hoping AMD can close the gap with mVidia in more widely used programs, the competition is needed!
very nice video 😎i like the style of how u do things
peace, stay chillin
Hey, thanks, I appreciate that!
But the vRam is faster than the 3060 Ti as well.
3060 - 12GB 15Gbps 192bit Bus
3060 Ti - 8GB 14Gbps 256bit Bus
6700 XT - 12GB 16Gbps 192bit Bus
6750 XT - 12GB 18Gbps 192bit Bus
Which is best for you just depends on what you'll be doing with the GPU. They're all getting pretty solid nowadays!
@@hardlytech9072 Thank you for the reply! Yeah I already got a rx 6700 xt coming I think I am just going to oc the memory or try. Either way it'll be a huge jump from the 1060 6gb : ). You're reply much appreciated though because I wanted to make sure I wasn't miss informed on the matter. My best friend owns the 3060 ti so over the next 4 years I will be able to find out if that larger bus with 4gb less will hold up compared to 6700 xt. Great freaking review man. I subbed
@@hardlytech9072 thanks man i will !
This is the card that I aiming for when price hit the lower $500.00 dollars.
Hopefully it gets there, and sooner rather than later!
509$ on Amazon right now
It did
interesting. cause i got the same card but my clock speed in gaming runs at 2725mhz without oc or power limit increase !
Very nice! There is always some variance, but it's cool to hear yours is running so well.
just saying ur AIO cpu pump should be at the bottom so bottom mounting the AIO radiator can decrease temps or even make it louder so i would say put the radiator on the top of the case
The radiator is side mounted in my case with tube inlet/outlets at the bottom. The bottom of my case has 3 120mm fans blowing directly across the bottom of the GPU flowing up to the top 3 120mm fans blowing out of the case.
hi, you recommend this video card? (low $250)
Yes, it's a great GPU.
