no entiendo un carajo pero me gusta tu placa bro
What was the reason you couldn't use the 180's
as i understand i should be no issues for me to max every setting in game in 1080p with rtx3060 12gb i5 12400f also 64bit render target setting?? i found what said it chnges from 32bit to 64bit but is there any differences in visuals or fps at all or is it just for modding the game easier?? fallout4 is another game i just started playing at same time as skyrim(had both games for a while n never got into any of them until now)but w fallout 4 i cant put every setting on max because it crashes.. so skyrim i hope is less prone to crashing vs fallout4?? so syrim is getting older and older and is there not any hd textures released from bethesda for skyrim?? They did it for fallout4 and that does absolutly nothing"or close to nothing" fps is the only difference i see w that game n its way lover for no improvments seen on screen! Skyrim what should be the easiest way to get it look a bit better if u suck at mods? some mods are easy as u can just download and put them into a map at install location is there any of these i can use to improve visuals for skyrim?? thanks 4 video
Great card if you ignore power consumption. Still haven't decided between this or one of RTX cards
What is the difference between the merc and the quick 6750?
@@viibecity The difference is mostly visual, they have a different shroud design on the outside, but the fans and functions are the same. Otherwise, there's a very marginal difference in the reference clock speeds, due to ever so slightly better binning for the Merc cards. If there's a difference in price, and you're considering one of these models, I'd get whichever costs less, the performance is basically the same.
Can’t really go wrong with extra VRAM. I wouldn’t buy anything less than 12GB for any new builds. I had this GPU in a Asus ROG prebuilt I bought. It worked great, and I recommend it for people starting out in gaming on a budget
@@joholmes4340 I agree, 12GB would be the minimum I'd recommend for most people, moving forward, even for 1080p gaming.
Can we record clips at 144 fps with shadowplay?
@@agnql I haven't recorded videos in some time now, but as far as I understand, Shadowplay is now capable of recording up to 120fps, but not 144.
@@hardlytech9072 ok! Thanks!
Still fun in2024, much better than 3060 action
Yo man, what are u pc specs?
this is genuinely PRECISELY the demo I was looking for! Thank you!!! I'm doing a new build and eyeing this card with a newer CPU, and planning on Ryujinx to make both zelda and pokemon look good, my 1050 laptop is just too tired to handle modding these things oh, how the times have changed since this video came out XD alas, poor Yuzu
It's still great? 3060 or 6750xt or 7600xt btw?
agree with all the comments in regard to a down to earth approach you have. Subbed and thx for the work!
Subscribed. The dictator joke got me.
hardcore. ..but i think this card not long live. 400Watt`s is to many for the componets on this card.
It's still too expensive if you can find one.
can you test manually setting resolution vs applying the ingame setting? I think the ingame setting records the game, but manually applying res records desktop, this can mess up quality and performance, I'm not 100% sure tho..
How did you manage to get such low temps on this GPU? I undervolted mine, does not consumer over 190W because when I set it to 2750Mhz it went over 100 Celsius on hotspot... Now I set it to 2685Mhz with 1145 Voltahe and I still get around 66-70 celsius and 84-90 Junction...
@@TheDiagoz1 I have good case airflow and a manual fan speed ramp. Otherwise, I haven't undervolted or anything. I might have just received a good one?
Your videocard have coil whine?
@@buxexinha123-bo4ms Thankfully no.
Things haven't changed. OBS - quality. Shadowplay - performance.
Sooooo... small question (if you're still keeping an eye on this over a year later...) - I slotted one of these into a PC I built for my son, and didn't spot all of the peely bits. Is there any potential issue with leaving some of them on? I only removed the one over the writing on the side!
Is it still possible to get these mods?
@@Jacobinks It should be. You'll have to do a little Google searching, but I believe they are still available.
do you think its worth getting a 3060 12gb same model as yours for 200 euros? i have someone who works at a pc and tech repair stuff and he is the boss there and he told me he can make a good deal for me on either a 3060 12gb your model for 200 euros or a 3050 for 135 euros he gave me a choise cuz these are all the gpus he can get brand new not used or refurbished with a 2 year warranty i have a 1650 gddr6 atm and i want to change my gpu one last time after this i wont change it for a long time i have a xeon e3-1031v3 similar to a i7-4770 im aware that there will be a bottleneck but with time ill get a newer cpu too i wanna go for the 3060 tbh but i was wondering how is the noise and the temps on this gpu beacuse my pc has only 2 fans to cool the whole sistem excluding the cpu one so im wondering if it will be enough to cool the 3060 considering it has only 1 fan
@@Alexutzzu That's really tough to say, to be honest. In a case without good airflow, temps will probably be fairly high on this GPU. That said, these GPU's are designed to be stable at high temps. It's a very good 1080p and 1440p card. The 4770k will be a bottleneck, but, probably not as bad as you might think. Personally, I'd probably go for it. If you have the money, and you plan to upgrade other components later, I think it'd be a good upgrade from the 1650. The 3050 wouldn't be much benefit, so I'd go for the 3060. Also, depending on your circumstances, and how much support you can get from your friend, if there does end up being an issue with the new GPU, you can always RMA it, and get a replacement. I hope this helps!
@@hardlytech9072 Do you think a case with 2 fans one that gives cold airflow to the case and the one on the back that gets the heat out are enough to cool this gpu? Plus the cpu fan and the gpu fan itself i dont play newer games the only "new game" that i would play is cyberpunk 2077 and i hope i can play it at high settings with a good fps ig ill see how it goes but for now all i can say is that its working decent i was thinking of doing an undervolt to the gpu as well but im not sure it is worth it
I just got one and I am so glad. But I care more about cooling than being loud
That's cool ;D, lol. The information is there just to inform people before they possibly make a purchase. I'm glad you're enjoying your purchase!
ShadowPlay is excellent until you want to split up to 5 audio sources. You will then need to use OBS.
That's true, Shadowplay is mainly for recording, it's not setup to be an OBS replacement for streaming.
Will I get same range of fps with Ryzen 5 7600x ?
The 7600x should get similar, if not slightly better performance in most cases.
I have that exact gpu, even though it’s a single fan card it’s been serving me well! Runs anything I throw at it (including my vr games) I’d say if your on a budget and need a good amount of VRAM get it…
Hey, thanks for watching and commenting! I'm always pleased with what this GPU is capable of, considering it's a 3060 and it's so tiny, lol.
You recommend 6750xt for 2k game
He didnt...
@@Godslayerjeff why ???
If you mean 2k res, then yes, I do. It's great at 1080p/1440p. In my personal use, I was able to play at 4k in a lot of games, with settings reduced, but it was still solid.
hi, you recommend this video card? (low $250)
Yes, it's a great GPU.
This video made me realize I never un-pealed my GPU despite having it for like 2 months now. Just un-pealed the bottom with it still attached to my motherboard, don't think I got the top though, so that's fun.
Oh no.. the plastic didn't melt, did it? If not, you should be fine. I'd check it over really god though.
@@hardlytech9072 It didn't melt, and it seems fine, I'll probably try and get the rest of later, but I have to procrastinate first
what’s the difference between the merc 319 and the qick 319?
Okayyy, soo.. I know this card is going on 3 years old and this is going to be a super stupid question but I'm gunna ask anyways, lol. Is this card worth it?!? I have an opportunity to MAYBE grab it for VERY VERY cheap!! Like 20-40$ cheap in an Amazon online auction. Does this card stay cool after longer uses? I heard it got really warm after a little bit of time and that it takes a little bit to cool down because it's only a single fan. Any issues with that long term? I meannn, I'm gunna bid on it regardless, I'm just wondering what to expect if I do win it, and I more than likely will, lol.
That's not a dumb question. I've heard of a few people having this card and it running hot, but mine has been in a few different cases, one with poor airflow, and it's run cool. It helps to have good airflow in your case, directly to and away from the fan on this GPU, and it helps to set your own fan curve using something like MSI Afterburner. The heatsink on this thing is large and does a good job, imo.
@hardlytech9072 I appreciate that bud. The only reason I thought it was a dumb question was because of how cheap I have an opportunity to get it for, lol. However, and this might not be smart either, but I removed the side glass from my PC to help with airflow, too. My pc is under my desk and I don't eat or drink at the pc. I do have a water bottle I use, so if I did knock it over, it won't spill. I don't have any pets, so no pet hair gets in there. I do blow it out if it looks like it's getting a little dusty, but I've never had any issues so far with the side glass being removed and the temps are always cool.
@@OhioBoii330 Nothing wrong with removing the glass if it helps and you don't mind it. For reference, with a custom fan curve, in an NR200P case with the glass panel on, no bottom fans, but 2 top exhaust fans, this GPU runs between 45c-65c depending on load. The custom fan curve, I believe, is set to 30% fan at 30c and a linear ramp up to 100% fan at 80c. The fan, so far has been very quiet. If you're not sure about the purchase, are you able to ask the seller questions? That's a cheap price.
@hardlytech9072 Again, I appreciate the quick reply, feedback and instruction. Unfortunately, I can not contact a seller. It's on an Amazon return, damaged box or open box auction app. If the product itself is damaged, they tell you in the description. But everything starts at literally 1$. Gaming pcs, laptops, GPUs, CPUs, mobos, full giant swimming pools, hot tubs ect. Literally anything you can find on Amazon is on here being auctioned off starting at 1$. So, that's why it's so cheap. Im in a "bidding war" with someone for that GPU now. But won't know until tomorrow night sometime when the auction ends.
Just recently bought this exact card and have experienced a substantial amount of coil whine when utilizing more than 60-70% of the card, did you notice the same thing or is there anything I can do to fix it?
Thanks for the suggestions. After switching on 4G encoding, I picked up a few fps and the temps lowered slightly.
Are you seriously getting a performance boost from using more ram? wtf
Essentially. It's less about having more volume, but more about having more pathways available for data to transfer.
Really great comparison! Thank you!
Thank you for watching! I'm glad the video was helpful.
Great video, quality content creator 👍
Hey, thanks! I really appreciate you saying that! Thank you for watching.
Is a 5700x3d with a Rx 7700xt with a 600w gold psu enough for 1080p? I currently use a Gtx 1660OC that consumes its maximum 125w of power, I don't believe that another 100w makes a difference in a good 600w gold psu.
You should be perfectly fine with that 600w psu. I'd only be concerned if it was really old or something. You probably have a lot of overhead with your current setup.
how did you reach 5ghz with the 5900x ??
Thanks for the question, I use PBO2 in the BIOS to tune the CPU, and a bit of undervolting. Keep in mind, this isn't an all core 5ghz.
@@hardlytech9072 OK could you pls give the setting you set ?
@@Ilowayn There are a few really good tutorials for tuning your CPU using PBO2. I can't give you my exact settings because your CPU has different voltage thresholds than mine (even if they're both 5900x's).
Got too hot so games constantly crashed. Had to buy another GPU eventually. Avoid this card.
I understand your frustration, I've had problems like this with GPU's before, CPU's and RAM as well. However, a sample size of 1 isn't enough reason to completely avoid a product, in my opinion. Mine has run cool, no overheating or crashing at all. I highly recommend it. With a single fan GPU like this one, it's important to have good airflow in whichever case it's used in. That said, in my use case, it's in an NR200 which has fairly poor airflow.
Just snagged one for $295! Almost bought a 4060 8gb for *(redacted) * before I saw the 6750 12GB on sale 😅 Nice review! Thanks
Very cool! That's a fantastic deal. I paid almost double that for mine (back when prices were much higher). I'm glad you got a great deal. Thanks for watching!
Which brand should i buy XFX, msi, gigabyte, asus, asrock or saphire?
Personally, I would chose between the XFX and Sapphire. But it depends on your needs and budget etc.
gskill rig uses less vram, and ram. why?🤨
I was never able to pin down why, tbh. I'd have to re-watch the video for specs, but could be a single rank vs dual rank thing, or possibly one kit has slightly more total RAM than the other.
this gpu is amazing
It's pretty solid, indeed.
what cpu do u got? im buying this gpu soon and dk what cpu to get
A 5900X, I list my specs in the description just in case people are curious.
Switched to this card from my old RX580 series, it's simply great. Performance wise it's double the performance and it runs cooler. Not to mention I lucked out with the coil whine on this baby, it has zero coil whine, which is a blessing.
That's always nice, coil whine gets pretty irritating after a while. I appreciate you watching my video!
I'm doing the same
@@joecook1258 Very cool! Let me know how the upgrade is for you.
I bought this gpu 3 months ago and was very excited to get it running. Unfortunately I could never figure out how to find the proper power cable for it. I spoke to Thermaltake and ASUS and nothing they told me helped. I even bought a new psu to run it but the cables simply did not match the configuration on the gpu. Nothing I tried worked. I don't understand why I seem to be the only person in the comments here not having the same problem, especially given that ASUS provides no tech support or support documentation for this model. I've had it too long to return with all my hopeful but useless purchases to correct this mess so I'm stuck with a $300 paperweight unless somebody can give me some insight.
That's a really odd problem to have, with pretty much all GPU's using a standardized configuration.. does it use an 8-pin PCI-E power connector?
@@hardlytech9072 Line side on the psu is the 6+2 pci-e configuration and gpu side is what looks like a 12v VGA1 connection. I'm currently guessing I need to use a peripheral out on the psu to run the aux power for the gpu but I don't even know if that makes sense... I'm not an engineer.
@@Skiddoo42 That's odd.. I don't remember ASUS announcing anything about moving the 3060 to the newer 12VHPWR Cable. There have been a few instances in my PSU to GPU layout, where the 6+2-pin pwr cable had the +2 portion on the opposite side that the GPU had them on, so I'd have to move the +2 part of the cable to the other side. Do you have any images of this on a site somewhere, by chance? If I could see it, I think I'd be able to help better.
@@hardlytech9072 Hehe... well I commented on this video because you were reviewing it. I can't really share links and Amazon conveniently doesn't show it in any of it's images. I'm hoping it works with peripheral power, I need to confirm but it looks like there are cables with the right configs for that.
I really enjoyed this video. You have a smooth voice that made this video enjoyable. I normally can not finish long videos that tests GPU in many games, but your style was so good I enjoyed it. Amazing channel.
Thank you for your kind words, I appreciate it! I'm glad you enjoyed the video :)
it’s 59$ right now should i buy it?
It's solid RAM, just keep in mind, my set didn't really overclock. But if all you need is good stable RAM that isn't expensive, I would.
