After doing biz with China for many years, my relative told me " Chinese supplier will not recommend anything to you during first meeting. They ask 'what is your budget?' ..My relative will state the amount. Supplier will reply, 'ok, in this case, i suggest you take sample 2 '... they will not waste time to explain how much time & cost differences to make between samples 1, 2 & 3. I bought a good quality wooden chopping board from a popular european store at my place here. At home i washed the board thoroughly & when i turned the other side, it stated 'Made in China' 😅😅 Wow!! I exclaimed to my hubby, this is from Great China!! ❤❤🇨🇳🇨🇳
China climbing the quality ladder was inevitable. It’s the appearance of major Chinese brands has finally arrived. TCL TV’s are very close to the very best brands but significantly cheaper and so they could become a top brand before we realise.

Years later, when I was also dealing with Japanese firms in Tokyo, I found that many of their parts used in manufacturing a finished product came from China. Anyone who studied ancient Chinese history and world history knows that China was the world's most advanced civilization for thousands of years until foreigners such as British, Americans and Japanese destroyed and looted it. Not much is made in the US, and what is made in the US is just mediocre. Made in China is very good these days, look at Chinese EVs, 2d nand chips, televisions, SBCs, smartphone, etc.

It was a budget brand but I follow an American on a RUclips channel regarding TV’s and he has for the last few years commented on the increasing quality of TCL. He now has it only slightly behind some South Korean brands in terms of quality but the value for money makes the TCL the overall winner. I actually think my next TV could be a Chinese brand.
