Zwift Crit Race - Pushing Through While Tired

  • I'm back in the Zwift Crit Racing Club. Even though there aren't as many people in these races, they tend to be high-intensity with a strong lead pack that pushes the pace.
    I have been having thoughts of surrounding myself with other people that force me to level up. It started after swim classes, then transferred into these races. If I wasn't doing these races, I would just be going out for casual rides where I'm not pushing myself.
    It's true about the impact of the people you surround yourself around the most.

    The outline is so you can see exactly where you are when in a big bunch. You’ll find those who are friends on zwift are outlined in a colour. Try keeping cadence 85rpm+, putting the emphasis on cardio not leg power. You should feel that your legs feel good not tired and burnt out.

      It was the first time I saw it, so it was kind of surprising but I can see how it would help in a massive group and cool about riding with friends. I can try to keep above that, but I always find my wattage suffers. I'm just lazy and don't like to shift lol and thank you! I believe I'm getting a bit stronger or at least learning Zwift better.
