I hope you do another fnaf cosplay tutorial but for a more game accurate body shape for the classic animatronics like Freddy Bonnie and chica, I also really wish I had seen this series back when I made my springtrap suit, I made the body a similar way but instead of wrapping the foam vertically and gluing the sides, I wrapped it horizontally like a cylinder around my body, I glued the back and that made the head spot and shoulders look weird, I’m gonna redo it.
That would be a huge dream come true! 🙏 I know this sounds crazy, but I've actually had a lot of people offer $400+ for just one head. But, when I get big on RUclips, I plan on doing give aways for them
Trying to make my son and I a foxy and Springtrap suit for Halloween and I was wondering what the field of view is like inside the head and where exactly your looking through?
So the eyes I made are the "show" eyes, they are just for display to look like the real thing. But what you can do is use the plastic ornaments, and put this cloth/mesh material inside and paint the iris and pupil. That way you can see through it some. Another option is to have your field of view through the mouth. Hope this helps 😁
@@endemion696 hello, did you end up using the mouth or the eyes for your field of vision while wearing the costume head? I’m making the head for my nephew, and I can’t decide. Thanks in advance.
Hey! You did a great job on these masks and the full costume, it's amazing. And I had a little doubt. In case of making the eyes visible... Does the mesh have to be painted or the spheres? I mean better. Do you put the painted mesh with all the details of Springtrap's eyes first and then the unpainted transparent Christmas spheres? In advance, congratulations on the suit. You do an excellent job on this!:)
You just hot glue another layer of foam around the foam base you made previously. You can either do the triangle method again, or hot glue a couple of circular pieces of foam together, hot glue it on top, and trim it to the rounded shape
hey man im about to build this head peice but i have two questions. first are the supplies in the description just for part one of the build process or is it for both videos? 2nd do the supplies in the description take a while to ship?
The materials are in the description of the full tutorial. And idk lol it depends where you live, where it's shipped from, what's available to you. I didn't buy anything online so idk
You just wrap another piece of foam around the first layer, and hot glue it together. Pretty much to it lol. And I just trimmed a piece of foam to the shape of a nose
@@AyeJayDeeDIY a thinner piece pf foam? I havent used foam that much but to wrap it aroudn sounds wierd or do i make the same structure but bigger and glue them toghether
I don't know what you mean by bubble wrap lol. But just get a long sheet of the same type of foam, roll the base over it while hot gluing it in place. You're just wrapping another layer of foam over it
How exactly did you do the second layer of foam? Did you just do the same thing as the first layer but bigger? Then how did you secure it? And what mesurment did you use to make the triangle shapes?
Yep same method and hot glued it. Measure how long the foam sheet is. Divide that number by a high number like 7-10. Say the foam sheet is 32 inches long, divide it by 8 so you get 4. 8 is the number of triangles, and 4 is how many inches the bottom of the triangle is. I usually make the height about 3.5 inches tall. Mark a line at the midway point of the 4 inch base on the triangle (2 inches) and draw a line straight up 3.5 inches. Then just use a straight edge/ruler to connect it from the top middle to the bottom sides. Hope this helps 😁
I spent about $38 to make the head. And honestly, I'm not sure. That was the 4th head I made so I had some practice. I think if you are patient, confident, and willing to put the effort into it you'll do great 😁
Unfortunately it's already posted so I can't make it slower. I posted a longer tutorial on my channel that might help! And you can always pause, rewind, and slow the video down if you need to 😁
$38 total. I used stuff from around the house, went to thrift stores and used discounts. The majority of the price is from the foam and fabric, but even those were on sale

Merci beaucoup! I use what's called 1 inch "project foam" by Fairfield. I usually layer it twice so it's 2 inches thick, rather than buying the 2 inch foam because it's more expensive and harder to work with. Depending on where you live, it may be made by a different company but it's a fairly cheap option 😁
It's available at Walmart and Joann's that I am aware of. For expense purposes, I would get it from Joann's because they usually have discounts for it all the time
So the rolls are 24x72x1 inches. And I just take the roll, wrap some around my head, mark where it's not too tight and not too loose, and cut and hot glue the ends together. Then I'll cut the piece in half because you'll only need around 12 inches in height. Everyone's head is different, so it really depends on what's comfortable with you 😁
