RH Farm is a Nonprofit dedicated to the rescue, care and rehabilitation of abused, neglected or slaughter bound horses. We accept surrenders, pull from auction and other avenues of rescue. We work very hard to find them a forever home, and a better future.
We are 99% self-funded at the moment. With your donation we can save more horses from slaughter, rehabilitate neglected ponies and help equines in need find the love they deserve.

Just found your channel, I love that you rescue horses.
Welcome!
Love your channel. Love all the info you teach us. Love your loving care of these beautiful horses. Your patience is phenomenal. Love your farrier also. He's similar to the farrier in Horse Plus Humane Society. They are definitely about the horse and the owner rather than showing off for the camera and being overly dramatic. You are one of my favorite channels!
Thank you and thanks for watching!
He works hard and cares for horses. In Hawaii we have quite a few ranches where I live and also on the neighbor islands. ALOHA!!!!
Aloha! Farrier mike is definitely one of the hardest working farriers we've had!
Won't pick up his feet, hunh? LOL ~ he's a trooper.
it’s truly amazing we are on different sides of the world and things are done exactly the same horses with the same issues, good stuff

Glucosamine Chondroitin is great for arthritis
I question if Chance fractured his pelvis or just really wrenched it badly watch his video he doesnt seem lame like you would expect but it was a short video, one would think there would be a noticeable sway in his hind end, or short step if he had broken it, he moves pretty well. Considering the cost of a scan its not cost effective for a rescue, but perhaps the adopter will pursue it as it could affect his ability to get around later in life as horse develope arthritis just like people as they age. It would be fantastic if it wasnt as serious as first suspected, hes a good looking horse. Hoof oil helps in the summer to keep the feet supple, dry ground always equals drier hooves.
He does have a gait abnormality in that leg but it's hardly noticeable now, 8 months post injury
Not a horse person here. What was that that you put on his feet that he pulled off?
Bell boots!
