Thomas Newman - Any Other Name Soundtrack [Live] Roy Harmanus

Hi guys, I hope you like my interpretation and arrangement of Newman's Any Other Name. I played this in Muziekgebouw Eindhoven, The Netherlands. The theme of the concert was Minimal Music Piano.
I had to make some minor adjustments in length, musical form, and music notes.
So, first of all, it's a cut-and-paste-version.
Second, the original has electronic pads, as you probably know, so if you only play the piano part, it sounds a little bit thin. That's why I added some extra notes to make some parts sound more thicker.
Just relax by listening to this beautiful modern classical kind of music!

Have you ever closed your eyes and wonder what the song writer is trying to say... when I close my eyes and listen to this i get the sense of a character who's seeking freedom as he wonders why he or she is suffering. as they try to reach out for freedom

I can close my eyes and see very vividly the first time I ever watched American Beauty. I as well wonder what is it that the song writer is trying to convey, but when I close my eyes my soul remembers the very moment I realized I fell in love with the wrong person. This song breaks my heart in thinking that we get lost in a moment so fondly.

Your performance made me burst into tears, feeling many emotions all at once... loose, pain, hope, happynes... beauty... love (the real deal, that vibration inside your heart, and you need to take a deep breath and....). The silences... the intensity... I don't know much about music but I do know that music is vibration, and vibration is movement. And you really moved me... deeply inside. A really great implementation of the famous music theme. I wish that could have been made a bit longer in time, elaborating more aroung the theme, and "making it even thicker". Something like an Overture or an Impromptu for example. Well done otherwise!
