Thank you so much for posting this video. I am a 62 year unemployed female suffering from severe rheumatoid arthritis and diagnosed bipolar 2 plus other mental issues. I love my Stylo 5, but the charge port went bad. I do not like any other phone offered through Straight Talk; plus can not afford a phone every 2+ years. My phone insurance expired. I cannot spend the money for a repair shop. I followed your video. My phone is now charging. I am truly grateful. Could you tell me what I may have done wrong, because the fingerprint security no longer works. I tried deleting the old fingerprint and creating another. The sensor just is not working. It worked before I changed out the charge port. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you again!
Have you tried pulling the back cover off... Then use a q-tip with rubbing alcohol on it to clean the connection area? The fingerprint scanner is attached to the back cover. It makes contact through the ribbon on the motherboard. Hope this helps. Stay blessed 😊

There is a adhesive they sell small kits that include this.
