Liked and subbed. I was wondering about ordering this for myself and thanks to you I'm happy I didn't. Looking forward to your next cap and ball guns videos.
Yeah, I couldn’t find any videos online about this, so I figured I might capitalize on that. As I mentioned, I think in the video, I guess I kind of screwed myself and doing so. However, I’m glad that people, such as yourself, appreciate what I am doing here! Thank you for the like sub and comment! I’ll be sure to make more videos soon!
Sorry for setting the expectation that I’ll be having video up following week. life got in the way a bit, but I’ll be sure to get on the next video soon!
I ordered from DATAC as well. I got the Gen 2 trigger guard and the ergonomic grips for my Remington Ace. I'm waiting on your video for shooting it! I'd love to see if the Target Picatinny Rail sight makes it more accurate.
@anglerwrangler4952 I was wondering how well the green dot sights on the picatinny rail hold up in terms of durability and accuracy. Can't wait on that video! I asked DATAC if they could make a target picatinny rail sight for the 3 inch barreled Remington Ace. Waiting to hear back from them... Also, I was gonna get the grips you got, but got the ergonomic ones instead after watching the fitment on yours. Thanks for that! You saved me money...🤙🏼
I bought the picatinny "Xtrem 5,5" for Pietta sheriff and it stays nicely, does not move at all, the painted sights are not that great though, fiber optics would have been better. The trigger guard i went for the picatinny model as I do not care at all about "bastardizing" antiques, going full Steampunk on this one with a green lazer under and a pistol scope over ;-) the screw hole was not exactly fitting so needed a little adjustment. Also bought the exact same grips of yours and also fits flush, no gap unlike yours BUT as you said they have good ergo but a weird toylike feeling in hand : too plasticky, lack some rubber! Overall can't complain too much for the price. Nice video, cheers!
Yeah no, everyone has their style. I mean, after all, I ended up just cold bluing the brass on the trigger guard. I posed a follow up video, in case you’re interested in knowing my experience with the company.
Concerning the grips: you could make a mold, like you had mentioned, and pour a set out of brass or bronze. It'll add weight though, but likely better than putting something on your revolver that makes it feel like a cheap toy. I just happened across the French stuff today, and am kind of glad i didnt impulse-buy anything lol. Sorry you had to be the guinea pig😅
life, low quality sights and basically everything in between has been preventing me from actually making a follow up. I just splurged on some expensive sites, hopefully this will work out. I will post when I make it work.
looks cool would like to see if it stays sighted in after some rounds
Stay tuned for an upcoming video!

Does it have to be Pietta's only or does fit on Uberti's too?
@@gctdonyre there are Uberti specific models

Bad news, I'm stealing the design and using it on vampires
35€ for the grips.
