I’ve just discovered your channel and watched all your video and I can say, the art style is stunning, you’ve nailed the gameplay and physics and how you have incorporated the amazing music makes me want to cry never mind the humour and special details you’ve put in I can’t wait until you release an alpha of this game.
Thank you very much, it makes me happy, the fact that I work on it every day prevents me from being objective, your comments help me to orientate myself a little. :)
You're on target with what you're doing here. The design and artwork give it a surreal feeling, that is both nostalgic as well as serving as an 'update' to the original material. It also doesn't feel cluttered with unnecessary Zelda 64 characters and references.
Congratz, man, it's awesome! Waiting for pre alpha! I've noticed that you made controller based UI. I just got a problem in Steam games that I figured out it is from coding phase, so I will post here if you are interested: I use Switch JoyC*ns with Windows 10 (Left and Right are recognized as individuals gamepads) through BetterJoy 6.4 that simulates a third controller, a Micros*ft's one, so games get inputs from there. It seems the order of Bluetooth devices connection matters for some games, and if I had a BT mouse or keyboard connected prior, my "xbox simulated" controller become invisible. I know, it's a Windows / big N incompatibility problem, but, thinking about your aiming public, this info may be handy. Keep up the great job! If I could be of some use, it would be a pleasure!
Thank you for this useful information, it's true that I didn't think too much about the compactibility of the controllers, maybe adding the possibility of assigning keys would solve the problem?
Keep up the good work, it’s looking great! I like the new features and content you add it’ll make it 10x more interesting to explore for fans of the original
1:02 the spikes seem a bit too slow, 2:16 the stunning sfx is a bit too annoying (too loud maybe?), The assets of the dungeon can maybe be improved a little (a bit too basic), but overall I really love it! Just wanted to share some constructive criticism, but it seems already really awesome for a fan project. Keep up the good work and good luck!
3 Questions 1. Is this an actual game that will be released and can be played? 2. Is there a release date? 3. Is this a 1:1 Remake? Meaning, if I play this will it basically be the same as playing the OG game?
Hello, 1. Yes, I would try to publish it, if I can. 2. No idea, a prototype version is coming soon. 3. I would like the game to be the same in the main lines but with different puzzles and gameplay like Awakening Switch.
@@LloydEmpty The Walls in the dungeon have no textures on the top or on the Side. I'm from Germany, so I can't explain that very well now, but there are normally those spikes on the castles that would go well with the dungeon model. The Sound Athmosphere is great. 👍Also I don’t like how there are too few moving objects (no Effects, decoration etc.). Why is the project so underrated? I don’t understand. Keep it up and sorry for my English ❤️
@@mr.cringe61 Ok I understand, the dungeons are currently a prototype where I implement all the functionality afterwards I will dress each dungeon with a different style, unlike many people, I create a stable and functional prototype first and then the graphics. In the current state it is true that it does not really have a soul. Thanks for your feedback. :)
This is the coolest fan made project for the original game I've ever seen

Would love seeing something like a new second phase for bosses in the dungeons!

This will be great if made to completion. Details need addressing.. Looks gorgeous!
It's like if it was a beta from a real Nintendo game! I'm just so impressed, keep up the great work x)

I would really want to play this. It looks so great.
Thanks, I still have a lot of bugs to fix.
This is way cool. I’d totally play this.
I'm new to developing games, i´m working with unreal 4 too. It´s nice to see projects like this!
Oh to be able to move and shoot diagonally

Is this made with unreal or Unity? Would love to see more dev blog and tutorials on making of.
Hi, it's done on unreal and blender/photoshop for the meshes. When the code is clean, I'll try to make a dev blog.
This is great work omg!!
This was very well done
The stunned noise is a bit earshattering at high volume.
we need an update video!!
This is sweet
Just let me know when you finish making this game.
I'm noticing that ink moves much faster in this video compared to some of the others. Did you increase the speed or does link move faster in dungeon?
I know it was because of the nes limitations, but will it be possible to toggle the player based camera in overworld?
With transition?
@@LloydEmpty yes, like the dungeon camera that you showcased in the video.
@@---oq5kb I opted for a transitionless world like Link's Awakening Switch, but I could do a transition for the region changes.
@@LloydEmpty makes sense.
Also, will you remake other games with your project? Or is this project only meant for loz nes?

Hi Manuelx98, thanks a lot for your feedback, I'll take them into account. 😁

I can hear Nintendo loading their guns
Would love to play the original nes Zelda if you made it

I feel like the lineart is a little bit strong and doesnt really fit zelda idk? Maybe im wrong
Yes it is a purely personal rendering.
That's not the original Dungeon theme
This is an original theme created by Alcibiade Minel, inspired by Zelda. soundcloud.com/alcibiade-minel
Wow I’m impressed by the quality, with no problem please send me a private message and I will be glad to pay you for the entire game
Hey, thanks, the gameplay is almost done but not the level design.
NINTENDO, HIRE THIS MAN
link?
Zelda?
At some points the game looks a bit dead but keep it on and improve. Good Work 👍
Can you tell me when? It would help me to improve. :)
