They probably wanted to give every boss their own stage at first, but after finishing Shellshock's, they realized how much time it took and instead of canning what they already made, they let Shellshock keep his own stage and just put everyone else in the arena
yeah if anyone should've got their own boss world/stage, you'd think it would've been Ace, but as someone already said, more than likely got cut due to time constraints, the sucky thing about game dev lol
@@cooper2211 sad to think about because even though it was the black sheep game, it was still so good for what they made. Big strides with the multiplayer, atmosphere, and snappy gameplay. If deadlocked was made in this current era and tech, a larger time window, that same gritty backbone, and larger planet layouts it would absolutely rise high on charts. Keep this OST too lol, that sold the environment every time
@@swiggityswo9558 yeah thats true but the first two ones had pretty great OSTs still made by david bergaud, a crack in time went in a different tonal direction and was pretty forgettable for the most part but had some highlights, the rest have nothing to really offer
