I ask, showing her the bowl. “这样够了吗？”我问她，给她看碗里的鸡蛋。 She nods and points to the stove. 她点点头，指着炉子。 I turn on the heat and wait for the pan to get hot. 我打开火，等锅热起来。 The pan is ready, and I pour the eggs in. 锅已经热了，我把鸡蛋倒进去了。 "Stir slowly." she advises, standing beside me. “慢慢搅拌。”她站在我旁边建议道。 I use the spatula and gently move the eggs around. 我用铲子轻轻地翻炒鸡蛋。 The eggs start to cook, turning from liquid to soft pieces. 鸡蛋开始变熟，从液态逐渐凝固。 "It smells good." I say, excited by the progress. “闻起来不错。”我兴奋地说，进展顺利。 "You are doing great." she says, giving me a thumbs-up. “你做得很好。”她给我竖了个大拇指。 I add a pinch of salt and pepper as she instructed. 我按照她的指示，加了一点盐和胡椒粉。 The eggs are almost done, soft and golden. 鸡蛋快做好了，软软的而且是金黄色的。 "I think it's ready." I say, turning off the heat. “我觉得可以了。”我说，关掉了火。 I carefully transfer the eggs onto a plate. 我小心地把鸡蛋盛到盘子里。 "You did it!" she claps her hands. “你做到了！”她拍了拍手。 I take a bite of the scrambled eggs. 我尝了一口炒鸡蛋。 "Delicious!" I say. “真好吃！”，我说。 She laughs, "See? Cooking isn't so hard." 她笑着说：“看吧？做菜没那么难。” I nod, feeling more confident about cooking. 我点点头，对做菜更有信心了。 "What should I try next?" I ask, eager to learn more. “接下来我该尝试什么？”我迫不及待地问。 "Maybe pasta." she suggests, thinking for a moment. “也许试试意大利面吧。”她想了想建议道。 I imagine all the dishes I can make in the future. 我想我未来能做的各种菜。 Cooking is starting to feel fun and rewarding. 做菜开始变得有趣而且有成就感了。

《Learning to Cook》
I am learning how to cook for the first time.
