you should have put a nut on before the Shute arm and then a washer and nut to hold the arm on. that way you don't have to fight withe that bolt again.
@@cameronlindsay1742 The John Deere part number that I used to fit on the 300 is M42485. It is a 45.6 inch belt (1158.2 mm) and it is .5 inches thick. There is an Amazon link in the description for a replacement belt that will work for the 300, 314 and 316k. The other tractors in the 300 series have different sized belts.

Once you get the bottom hooks in the frame, hook up the hydraulic hoses then you can use the tractor to pivot the bracket till the locks click in.
@@technologyguy101 Oh, that would make sense. It is very hard to pivot once the bottom hooks are in so using the tractor is a much better idea.
