I thought this boat was electric, but it's diesel! I watched most of the vlog guys, but not it's entirety so forgive me if you mentioned it. The engines are so quiet I would have bet money it was electric. I was wondering what the distance rating was as electric might be a problem, and I was expecting 50 miles or so. Being gas powered, this boat gets up to 190 NM at 20 knots. This is a well thought out yacht, and looks to be a lot of fun. I can't wait till you do the test run in the upcoming larger boats they have on the drawing board. 👍✌
When I was very young (70s of the 20th century of the USSR) I sailed on such a yacht. It was called "Meteor" or "Raketa". Tickets for this water "tram" were cheap, because fuel in the USSR was very-very cheap

@@thornerg2 As far as I understand there's basically no infrastructure for charging yachts (in the same way as cars) at harbours and extremely limited technology for very large battery cells needed to power them for the hundred to thousand of miles ICE engines can support atm, I have seen a few yachts of a similar size to this use large solar panel roofs to completely power onboard electricals though which is cool. Definitely excited to see the technology progress over the next decade
