Hey Charlotte! The balloon and due thingy is actually a sits-bath. She dyed the water I believe so you could see it, anyway a sits-bath is great for soaking your bottom (post partum, hemorrhoids, chafed, etc.) She's bouncing/pushing the balloon into it to show that the water won't overflow. Yep...that's the explanation I'm going with. Love ya and yep...subscriber.!

@@JodeJoanne it's not toilet water 🤭 the water comes from literally anywhere else, sits in the little butt bowl and you empty it into the toilet when you're done.
To add on to what this person said usually sitz baths have an IV like bag with a tube that you fill with water that flows into it to keep the water moving and keep it a little fresher. That way you have clean water coming and rinsing out the area. And also helps replace the displaced water once you sit in it. It pretty relaxing if you aren’t in massive amounts of pain.

Toilet one. That purple "dye" is a potassium permanganate, it's used for general disinfection. It's usually done after giving birth to keep everything down there clean and healthy. Fun fact - after you soak in that purple solution, whatever part you've soaked, the skin on it will become orange for a while.

We have pads pants here (Indonesia), I don't know if your country have them. It's like those disposable panties but with pads on the area we might get our period blood. It's great to use on the night of your heaviest flow, soft and comfortable too. It's called sleep protect panties

Ok, "Oh, James!!!" had me rolling. Also note: a few years ago, the pharmacist manager I worked with was complaining about pads not covering up front where she needed more protection - some of us who stand for hours do need more front end coverage - I said that I take the pads that are wider at the back, turn it around, and voilà, more front protection! She was stunned that you could actually use a pad in any way other than how the instructions stated

i legit only buy the 'overnight' pads and use them all the time....nothing else has near enough coverage. if you are standing you need front coverage if you are driving a lot you need back coverage. JUST SELL ME DIAPERS
@@bodyfarmbrat they do technically. Have you ever tried the period panties? They look like an adult diaper/pull-up. I will say, looks aside they are the best things I have ever found. Doubt I could go back to just regular pads alone.
I even go as far as using athletic tape to secure the wings so they don't get all bunched up! I would honestly start using those new depends adult diapers if they weren't so expensive, lol!

I rewound and watched that spider baby one about 30 times and STILL can't stop laughing. I laughed so hard I triggered a sneezing fit and got snot all over my bathroom wall (yes, the bathroom is my "RUclips Space"...I have 4 kids...escape is sometimes a necessity).

@@RosiePosey5150 where i come from it is called permanganate. we clean our vegetables with it also. and once i had one of my boobs (yeaaaah.....) had a really bad kind of dripping infection for... months, i went to a doctor and he told me to bath it in permanganate for 3 days... it was gone. it does a lot of things actually

5:24 looks like a different brand of sitz bath. They are used to gently clean yourself when you are post-episiotomy, have hemorrhoids, or any other malady in that particular region and need it gently cleaned.
The dye was so we could see the water on camera.....but there are medicated tablets that can be used in the sitz bath

If you place them like that the flow will literally just slip right under the back pad like a roof shingle under lapped instead of over lapped. Not a pretty sight, trust me. Back down first, then the center.
