Fun Fact: When Eminem decided rapping is what he was gonna do with his life, Proof introduced him to THIS. Eminem didn’t write another rhyme for the whole summer his mind was so blown.
Naughty By Nature - It's On, Naughty By Nature - Uptown Anthem. Don't feel bad. It's the golden age for a reason. It's so many more you aint get to yet, Grand Puba, Poor Righteous Teachers, The Alkaholiks, Diamond D, 90's Hip Hop is it's own entity !
And PLEASE do Ghetto Bastard (Everything's Gonna Be Alright) next. It's their best song. One of the best rap songs of that era. One of the best rap songs period.
You should check out the interview Eminem did with Ice T where they were talking about Treach and this song. Em recited the opening lyric, “I can snap, rap, pack, click-clack, patter-pat-pat Take that ass to the point you have to ask for your ass back…”. He said that song blew him away and he didn’t write another rap for an entire summer. It must have made him realize he needed to step up his game for sure. That’s why Treach is in his top 5.
I’d put this song up against any other rap song. This jawn blew my mind. His rhyme schemes have layers. The flow and style stay consistent yet versatile. I always tell heads that Treach is a top five lyricist no question. And yes you can hear Treach’s influence in Em’s rhymes.
The sad part is a lot of people overlooked Treach, until they saw the Eminem interview. Even then many gave Em more credit for Treach's flow and cadence than Treach... Check out his intro on "It's On"
@@tlewisisdope sadly true..i notice alot of songs that were bangers to us growing up barely get any views anymore unless a white person starts talking about it
It’s a lot of mc’s especially back in the day…. A lot of these hip hop or music reactors… haven’t scratch the surface of hip…it’s cool to see how y’all react to our music… hip hop started in the 70’s… it’s so much to explore in hip hop… I love your reaction…(Naughty by Nature) Everything is going to be alright.
When they were in their prime their music bumped everywhere because put out so many bangers. Uptown Anthem, OPP, Dirt All By Lonely, Jamboree, Hip-Hop Hooray. You'll know you were born in the wrong time of hip-hop
Please do Uptown Anthem, or It's On..!!!!! Yoke the Joker is their early work, so they have tons of songs just as complex lyrics, and flows, like either of these songs.. And many more!
Common - ‘The Corner ‘ for a crazy rhyme scheme. He rapped the 1st verse with one syllable rhymes. The 2nd verse with 2 syllable rhymes, then the 3rd verse with 3 syllable rhymes. It’s super dope.
Lol that rhyme scheme is studied in college. It's a form of poetry called alliteration...it's taught in writing classes in high school too...not many rappers use it like this anymore but it is used.
Please do Naughty by Nature "Everything's Gonna Be Alright" Please. If you heard it already I understand but no other Naughty song has the substance. You wont be disappointed.
8:24 I can answer your question. I am a 1990s kid. I grew up during a time when people could actually sing without autotune, and rap was at its best along with the 1980s rap. I grew up during the legendary days Toonami and anime. Before that garbage Naruto show came along. This was back when anime was coming to the U.S. and booming. The legendary shows such as Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Sailor Moon, Gundam, Pokemon, Digimon, Yu Yu Hakusho, and many other amazing shows I could name that aired on networks such as Toonami, FOX Kids, Kids WB, Sunrise, ABC Family and Jetix, adultswim, Cartoon Network, etc. This was also during the legendary days of WWF when Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Undertaker, and other top names were going at it. Back when that wrestling show was worth watching. Basically, as the 2000s slowly became to creep in, overall quality of everything in entertainment dropped, whether that is in film or music. Today, I would say the rise of the best films are live action VFX such as Marvel, Legendary Entertainment and Warner Bros., etc. And the best music is film, theatrical such as Hans Zimmer and many other artists composers I could name. The 1990s and around 2000 were the best days for cartoons and anime on television. The 1980s and 1990s were the best time for rap. If you did not grow during those eras, you pretty much missed out on some amazing things. I don't even listen to today's mainstream music. I listen to 1980s, 1990s, film theatrical score music, or game music.
I told you Yoke The Joker would blow your mind. I know you'll appreciate the lyricism on these: Kool G Rap - Executioner Style LL Cool J - The Breakthrough
So now you have to check out Dirt all by my lonely & the track naughty did as a tribute to his brother 2 Pac and that's called mourn you till I join you.
Glad you’re giving props to Naughty by Nature my man. A lil history, Queen Latifah discover them and they’re from New Jersey also Latifah created a group call Flavor Unit MCs and there’s a song that I know you might like it call Roll with the Flavor that treach I on it with a few more MCs that you’re going to love as well. So give it a try.
Yo! New subsciber here b. Cof this video and your reaction to this absolute classic! And this was the opening track to this album for the 90s. Brutal! Live your reaction tho!
Treach was always similar to Big L to me, which is dope and he's from my born city Newark, New Jersey. I think they from East Orange, New Jersey though, but same difference.
I wish Treach kept it going. Seeing rappers like Nas and Styles P dropping heavy after 25 years still. And keeping it at an elite level. I know Naughty could have done the same. I think Naughty vs De La would be the best Verzuz yet. De La would probably take it over 20. But it would be amazing.
@@shaniquelove1404 I love Naughty. And I agree that they have a ton of bangers. But De La have one of the deepest catalogs in the game. They had 6 certified classics off their first album alone. They could put together 20 chart topping singles, without even touching their First Serve stuff, or features.
Rapping with the same letter or sound is a literary device called alliteration. Tupac did it too in If I Die Tonight. You should react to that one. Treach and Tupac were close friends.
One of the most underrated MCs and one the most underrated songs of all time! Treach is up there with some of the greats!…. Do you know when you stood up good my man ya feel it !!! I play this track about 10 times a week lol
Fun Fact: When Eminem decided rapping is what he was gonna do with his life, Proof introduced him to THIS. Eminem didn’t write another rhyme for the whole summer his mind was so blown.
TRUTH!!!!!!!

This is the clip 😁
Treach is one of the most bitten emcees of all time.
You're funny 😂😂😂
This whole album is bananas, good selection young fella. Uptown Anthem by Naughty by Nature is a good one next time you react to them.
I feel like you can basically listen to the first three naughty albums from start to finish and it's an absolute clinic in lyricism.
Dirt all by my lonely, Craziest, Uptown Anthem, Everything’s gonna be alright, are also gems bruh. Enjoy
YUP. these are the ones!
Gotta do Uptown Anthem and Everything’s Gonna Be Alright.
CLASSICS
I tried to told him
Everything's gonna be Alright
Essential
💯 the two perfect picks
Naughty By Nature - It's On, Naughty By Nature - Uptown Anthem. Don't feel bad. It's the golden age for a reason. It's so many more you aint get to yet, Grand Puba, Poor Righteous Teachers, The Alkaholiks, Diamond D, 90's Hip Hop is it's own entity !
Poor Righteous Teachers definitely was a hot group back in the day. There are so many great and talented lyricist from the 80’s & 90’s
Naughty By Nature - "Uptown Anthem" video. Treach flow was crazy on that joint and the beat is a head knocker
Treach is such an underrated legend. Just listen to their catalogue and you know.
And PLEASE do Ghetto Bastard (Everything's Gonna Be Alright) next.
It's their best song. One of the best rap songs of that era. One of the best rap songs period.

Craziest, guard your grill, wickedest man alive, take it to ya face, poor mans poetry, next if you get a chance. Of course Uptown anthem and Jamboree
You picked the PERFECT song to review. Excellent work Youngin, and Naughty has many more.
💯
Broken Language by Smoothe Tha Hustler and Trigga Da Gambler!
Overlooked classic
Damn. I remember when that dropped. Broken Language, Hustlers Anthem, and My Crew Can't Go For That stayed in rotation.
One great thing back in the day was that many times the lyrics would be included in the album/cassette/CD case.
The most forgotten, most slept on, most underrated by far Trech da great
I’d put this song up against any other rap song. This jawn blew my mind. His rhyme schemes have layers. The flow and style stay consistent yet versatile. I always tell heads that Treach is a top five lyricist no question. And yes you can hear Treach’s influence in Em’s rhymes.
You gotta check out Naughty By Nature- (Ghetto Bastard) and (Uptown Anthem)
Definitely check out "Uptown Anthem"! Treach is a monster on the mic! Vinny also had a nice verse.
by the way Treach was one of 2pac's best friends in the 90s
Uptown Anthem is classic. Peep Everyday All Day too, the flow’s insane
"Uptown Anthem" one of their Biggest Hits Ever,it was also on the "Juice" Movie Soundtrack
The sad part is a lot of people overlooked Treach, until they saw the Eminem interview. Even then many gave Em more credit for Treach's flow and cadence than Treach... Check out his intro on "It's On"
This is my top Naughty song It's On always one of my favorites. KG killed this beat too.
sadly...as hip-hop becomes more mainstream what white people think matters more than what we think. the generation that grew up on Treach knew...
It took for a pilgrim for others to appreciate Treach. Interesting
@@tlewisisdope sadly true..i notice alot of songs that were bangers to us growing up barely get any views anymore unless a white person starts talking about it
@@tlewisisdope weird making about Race, i've never saw a Black rapper (especially as Big as Eminem) shouting out naughty by nature

Also review Fat Joe “Watch Out” with the first ever Big Pun feature, another lyrical murder 💀
Dope! Now, please react to Broken Language by Smoothe Tha Hustler and Trigga Da Gambler. You will be speechless!
You gotta do "Dirt All By My Lonely".. One of my favorite Naughty joints..
And also the joint "I gotta Lotta" when Naughty had some issues between the two members going. Treach went nuts on that shit too..
the hook to that 1 always used to stay in my head lol
@@Crunchysopa52 .. For sure!! That was definitely one of them ones..
Everything's gonna be alright! !!!!! naughty by nature (The Meaning in this one STRAIGHT FIRE)
Mourn you til I join you is a great tribute to Tupac
When they were in their prime their music bumped everywhere because put out so many bangers. Uptown Anthem, OPP, Dirt All By Lonely, Jamboree, Hip-Hop Hooray. You'll know you were born in the wrong time of hip-hop
Cats like Treach and Redman make me proud to be from New Jersey.
Love the reaction 😂😂😂 Uptown Anthem let's get the 👍🏿 for this song
Also Hip Hop Hooray the video but I see u have the blocked thing going on it's all good love the young generation reacting to 90s
Time out time out! Crack me up. 😂 😂😂. Treach was ill with the word play.
Because people don’t appreciate true lyricism…. Good for you bruh
Please do Uptown Anthem, or It's On..!!!!! Yoke the Joker is their early work, so they have tons of songs just as complex lyrics, and flows, like either of these songs.. And many more!
Some don't know this isn't naughty by nature's first album. They was called Nu style.
React to Mourn You til I join You. It's Treach's tribute to one of his best friends, Tupac.
Ngl, that song hits the heart.
Classic! Do "Guard Your Grill" next

Young bul digging in the crates for real now! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
The father to Eminem's style. Treach was and probably still is one of the hardest spittas of all time.
Naughty by nature- dirt by my lonely
"The new style" was the group's original name...
19 Naughty Three, trust me! The opening track is bananas. You really need to start reacting to Naughty more. Treach is one of the best to ever do it.

I'm guessing that's where Papoose got "Alphabetical "Slaughter".... rhyming a whole verse starting with the same letter.
Treach, Redman, Lauryn Hill, Canibus, Queen Latifah: There must be something in the water in New Jersey!
uptown anthem by naughty by nature
Classic! Straight outta ill town, east orange NJ,

Treach is crazy on Wickedest man alive ! You should check it !!
2:38 I believe that is called literation. 🙂
Pin the Tail on the Donkey is another example of Trech flow!
Everyone sounded like Treach at one point in the early 90’s
The captions are wrong in a lot of places like... 3:04 when he pauses the video. It says "so snaps stepping separate" but he says "snap seven samples"
Top 5 lyricist all times...no question!
I'm in my car, I hear you say "this is about to be crazy"....I legit said out loud, "you have no idea my friend"
Yo Let's get dem 👍🏿 for Everything Is Gonna Be Alright
hip hop anthem, Hip hop hooray and OPP are probably their BIGGEST songs..
You should do Uptown Anthem, Know the Ledge by Rakim, and Shoot em up by Cypress Hill all from the Juice soundtrack

Treach has bars for days
Amazing!! Mind blowing for sure! Wonder if you do a video of Eric B and Rakim " Follow the Leader."?
