This week our mast finally goes back up, Ragdoll gets launched and we leave the boatyard for the first time in months... but not without two trips up the mast!

Who are we?
We are a family of three with three dogs, sailing the coasts of Scotland, exploring one island at a time - for now! There is no set route or plan. We will go where the wind and life take us. We have two golden retrievers and a bernese mountain dog - Hachi, Luna and Meems who sail with us. We sail on a 1995 Gib’Sea 472 who we are in the process of refitting, making our own and preparing for a big adventure.

Hi John, we don’t take the mast down unless we need to. This year we had our rigging replaced so it had to come down. Normally it’s something we try to avoid.
