Dude god bless you man. This channel is serious fire brother! Your content is Friggin amazing, you provide so much for the community and it’s so appreciated. One day I’m going to have a setup that allows for all of that shooting and one day I will be able to afford to do it. In the meantime you can find me dry firing my Frankenstein ar that took 7 years of saving to build this far (still got a red dot to piggyback and a sandman to add on the list. Maybe the red dot is coming next year. We will see what the budget allows , being a sole provider to my 2 month old son and wife makes it tough to justify). One day tho I’ma be doing it, in the meantime these videos and dry fire are enough to scratch my itch. Great shibble man, keep it up.
It's funny because I shot a match over the weekend where the wind was moving the barricade we were shooting off, that wobble zone was incredibly hard to manage
Absolutely love your videos! I've been shooting PRS Rimfire for last 2 years. I got rid of my lightfilled sticky game changer in place of a heavy filled schmedium and it's made all the difference! I Also put an MDT m-lok thumb test on my rail and use it as an index point to match up with my bag. I get the same hold every time no matter what position. No wobble! I'm no pro, but it works for me! Thanks for sparking my new gas gun addiction. Hope to shoot a match with you someday!
Nrl22 shooter here with a constructive observation. (Youve probably tuned this up already) I noticed that your inital placement on the prop Aways had to be grossly corrected. Train to gave good inital placement the first time. I try to minimize the adjustment. I'll do a drill in just the approach. Place my gun, look and see how close i am to the target. Thats it. Rinse and repeat. I drilled this down over. At first it will slow you, but then you will get much faster because you will eventually eliminate the entire "adjustment". Great stuff. Film yourself doing the same drill as this video and watch back the side by side. Youll be amazed at how much you can chip away until only whats necessary remains. Good shooting shooter. Insta sub
I'm jealous of your gun's balance point. I recently figured out if I want my 20" 6 arc to balance like that I'm gonna have to put about 3 extra lbs on the handguard.
@cstrange171 I'm in California so unfortunately a suppressor isn't in the cards. I was just gonna bolt some brass weights on the handguard. There's a company that makes some nice looking brass ones I was looking at
@jimmybrodriguez oh of course. I forgot about attaching the bag to the rail. What plate do you like for attaching bags? There are so many out there, and some are pretty pricey. Do you think I could get by with cutting one on the waterjet at work and picking up an arca clamp on ebay or are the fancy ones like grey ops worth it?
I have been contemplating buying an ATACR 4-16 with the MIL-XT, what power does the reticle become useful and can you find the center easy enough at 4X with the thin lines?
I have never seen a bolt gun that had a stock with no front or forearm section. I am not aware of who would sell a complete rifle that was only action and barrel and call it complete. However, places like Brownell do sell barreled actions that you will put into an aftermarket stock or chassis. And every single one of those has a forearm. Some chassis do have a top piece or shroud that may look like a hand guard and it is primarily good for laying your fingers on it for stability.
Bro get this man more subscribers. Info is amazing, production/editing awesome , audio great. Jimmy is genuinely trying to better himself and us.
Jokes aside, love the breakdown of training content!
Much appreciated

Bro keep at it and keep grinding. You’re a good dad. Patience for what you want and it will be worth it

Yeah some days be like that and it’s just a matter of making the most of each opportunity

Dude that would be awesome. Hope it happens soon. But yes heavy bags make a big difference

Suppressor and light should get you there lol

I would try a bag with a heavier fill before I started adding weights

Picked up the ATACR 4-16 a couple months ago, great choice on the optic esp with the Mil XT reticle
Mil xt atacr is money
@@jimmybrodriguez pick this over a 1-8 atacr?
Where to get those large reticle sheets 😮😮😮😮
great content! what do you do to clean your barrel and how often do you clean it?
Great video. You have a new subscriber here! Did you make those reticle overlays yourself? How do I get one??!!
Excellent Video! Which barrel did you goto?
Solgw precision barrel is currently best bang for the buck on the market in my opinion but take that with a grain of salt since I shoot for them
The video we need
Great info!!!!
Awesome ty
Happy to help
Would you ever consider trying march optics
How were you able to transfer your reticle to the clear paper? Like that a ton!
Hey Jimmy, random question. What is the general round count of match ammo you use in a competition?
How many rounds do you consider "barrel breakin"? I too have the SOLGW precision barrel and have about 150 rounds through it only.
I have been contemplating buying an ATACR 4-16 with the MIL-XT, what power does the reticle become useful and can you find the center easy enough at 4X with the thin lines?
Yoo, can you link those stock accessories? I’m having a hard time getting a good length of pull (I’m 6’5”) haha
Arisaka bag rider and angle adapter
5:38 is noice info!
🤘🏼
What is it about the nightforce mounts that you like so much?
I’ve had a good experience with maintaining zero and being durable so if it’s not broke don’t fix it.
Jimmy what scope/Power/model are you using on your rifle. would do different is you had to do it again? Thanks in advance...
I’ve always wondered how to stabilize a bolt gun like this when there’s no handguard and just the exposed barrel
I have never seen a bolt gun that had a stock with no front or forearm section. I am not aware of who would sell a complete rifle that was only action and barrel and call it complete. @@ronws2007 I have one of this chassis with no top forearm lol. I could try and rig something I guess
Jimmy,
I’m an active military sniper and I learned a lot from this video. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Jimothy B Rodriguez.
We were promised new intro music.
Right. Promised is a strong word but yes at some point maybe next week maybe in 10 years we’ll see what happens
Where are you getting the reticle card, I’ve been trying to find one for my Nightforce Mil-C reticle
@jimmybrodriguez
Mine is side to side alot of times
I think most of us are
I’ve noticed my first shot is always the wobbliest 🤷♂️ 😅
What suppressor are you running?
In the video is the griffin psr 5 but I use a variety
@@jimmybrodriguezI was curious about this one specifically. Front end isn’t one I’ve seen before. Appreciate it 🙏
Show us your standing offhand wobble zone 😉
I have in 2 other videos but ok
Mil-XT >
It’s the goat reticle
Facts so much better then tremor 3
Wobbly bits bad!
Honestly I could’ve just reduced the video to this lol
What butt pad is that?
