Can you please do a review on the phantom 3 se? It used to be only available in China and just got released in the USA. It is cheaper than most of the other drones and I want to see if I should buy it. thanks BTW you do great and informative videos!
I think if you've got a P3A/P or later, most of this setup stuff is pretty familiar. If you don't want to see those "you are in a class C restricted area" warnings, you can turn off your Geo Fencing option. I also turn off my front Lights on the Arms so they don't interfere with video. This particular model does have MUCH superior video. The only thing is, in order to view 4K video, you need to have a 4K monitor on your PC, and have a really power PC to boot (especially if you are doing editing). Its the same thing with TV and 4K. I don't have a 4K TV .. there isn't much available content currently broadcast in 4K to warrant it. I remember when they first came out with color TV. It was the same thing. There were few programs being broadcast in color, so my dad saw no reason to update our black/white TV until there was sufficient programming out there. Lastly, uploading 4K video to RUclips takes a LONG time, unless you have a super fast internet connection. I think you'll really like the video and stability. Now that you've had experience with a P3 & P4, you should be familiar with the various advanced flight modes so that you will be able to demo them when you get out to the field. It's still only 40 deg. here in NE Ohio, so flying weather still isn't quite here. Looking forward to ensuing videos ... Mahalo ...
The infrad on the said its for ditched trees and buildings and other thing like that like how much the speed of the win and other win she ditched something in front of the quad it will stops automatic and getting not to crash in to something
I got mine yesterday and it was a mess, there were two broken blades, a crimped wing and the body of the unit was not clipped together well with gaps opening about a 1/6th of an inch, unbelievable, I should have done an unboxing to show everybody. It was like a poorly trained employee packaging it. Anyway, hope the next one will be good.....
do you know if you can use the p4 pro controller with the standard p4 to get the auto switch to 5.8ghz to help with interference? Thanks love your videos

Question, if you mod the controller to obtain the HDMI port do you loose the USB port? Also, I saw some people saying that after doing the mod that they still did not get a picture though the HDMI port but a firmware update should correct it (The postings I read were of 2016). Do you know anything of that? Will you be modding the controller before the first flight? Thanks for the informative videos

Nice review, very informative and detailed. However, the comment you have about the charger being able to charge the battery and remote at the same time. DJI themselves, recommend you don’t charge both at the same time
I do like these. Out of my price bracket though and even if it wasn't (or especially if it wasn't) I'd still prefer two extra motors. NOT because I prefer another brand but simply because if I had that much invested in it I'd like it to cope with a motor or rotor fail. Belt and braces approach ;) Good unbox and explanations. I look forward, as always, to the rest of the series.

Dustin I love my P4P! With that bird it's all about the camera and manual mode filming. I love having the adjustable aperture. I just posted a little flight I did yesterday with mine. Check it out when you get a chance. My channel is slbynum. Love all the reviews you do and keep it up!

The foam brace for the camera is provided in the Phantom 4, I still use it when I'm not using my 4. Very handy. Nice video.

+IzakGt I installed it and it will detect the card on bootup. It then prompts for an update immediately then works perfectly.
