in a battle of equal strengths and speeds, any dragon ball character utterly shits on saitama
I honestly think Gohan is really well written character. He literally has no reason to train or fight because his father always saves the day but at the same time he is expected to be better than any of them. He never had that saiyan must fight pride in him like Goku or Vegeta or hell even Goten and Trunks have more of that pride in them.
he has seen the threats out there first hand and he know his father doesnt have much time left, since im pretty sure goku is around 50 in Super, and Saiyans do age just not with physically degradation
Gohan kinda has the same deal as Future Trunks….any drive to fight for fighting’s sake was beaten out of him by trauma. But Goku is around to rely on….which 😔. I don’t get why Gohan couldn’t a scholar of martial arts…someone who goes on to teach Ki to humanity. It gives him reason to stay in shape while giving a good reason for him to not just focus purely on his own strength

Gohan always had my heart. Goku is amazing but I started with Dragon Ball Z right when Gohan had to train with Piccolo. Gohan never gave up you can see it in Trunk’s future timeline, and sometimes we say we can’t do things our selves but Gohan’s perseverance is what I love about him. He is Beast Gohan for conquering his mind set.
Thank you for analyzing this new form of his. Gohan has been my favorite character in dragon ball for a very long time so i appreciate seeing this :)

Goku and Vegeta's personalities just fit a battle shounen a lot better than Gohan's.
While Gohan doesn't hate fighting like a lot of people say he does, he does hate death matches with a passion. If he were to keep his role as the protag, then either the series would have to stay with a very low stakes plot like the tournament arcs, or it would have to focus around him begrudgingly coming to Earth's rescue time and time again without the silverlining of at least enjoying the thrill of combat against dangerous adversaries like the pure blooded Saiyans can.

The only thing wrong in this video is when you said Gohan stopped training after the ToP. Gohan says to Piccolo in the movie that he didn't stop training and in the Moro arc they have combo attacks and strats that are clearly rehearsed. All in all this video is solid

Personally, Beast Gohan didn't even have to try to beat Cell Max. He knew that he was far beyond. Beyond even Beerus himself I would presume. Gohan's power ascended to beyond the natural realm, even for Dragon Ball standards. Gohan Beast is the most powerful character in the Universe.

Gohan has as much potential as any other sayian in my opinion he just gets pushed more and witness more deaths that cause him to rage no different then goku and vegeta if u look at how strong they got in such moments but he is strong I doubt he can beat Vegeta he's to restless but Gohan could bring him to his knees and maybe Goku blue if not for kaioken Goku would just train him untill goku ran out of stamina prob lol.

Beast mode should be a transformation for a new type of super saiyan. Instead of super saiyan god modes which Vegeta and Goku have.. but Gohan and Broly should be given the new form based on both Gohan’s and Broly’s ability of getting stronger the angrier they become. But Gohan shows what that power controlled would turn into .. beast mode.
