Chig has a child's enthusiasm and sense of anticipated adventure, and an immense appreciation for the people and events that resulted in scattering various precious relics about the earth - plus, he's funny as heck!
Why do I love the Chigg...im no longer able to get around very well. So I travel and explore via Chiggs videos. Can't ask for a better person to have adventures with. Keep those videos coming Chigg.
Nancy Paul, me too. I had a great job that took all over the world, but I am no longer able to travel. In fact, I can barely leave my house. Now, the Chigg takes me around the world.
Thanks, Chigg, By you sharing your life and travels and how you became the man you are today, from shy to more outgoing, has made me realize I've become less outgoing as I once was. Its time to slow down with work and get out there and do what I love. THANK YOU, SIR.
Very honest, very respectful and an all around true gentleman in every regard. Hope your have a good time Beau and the podcast was a nice add on. Take care my friend and stay safe.😉
Hi Chigg! After watching this segment, I went to FB and watched the hour long interview. Nice job. Like Nancy Paul, I too have health issues that prevent me from getting around well, but I AM able to do so via your experiences. Thanks.
Awesomeness. I'm a huge fan I've learned so much watching your vids dude. I actually started metal detecting a year ago because I watch you and love the history.
@@melo7572 I had know idea how fun and interesting it is. To find something someone dropped and to have a story behind it. I never imagined how much joy and excitement I get when I hear that beep. Aquachigger you are a great man. I think you do more than entertain, you teach history and help people like me with mental illness want to get out there and be active and have a blast exploring. I have a new Outlook on life ( and land ) lol . It's so awesome.
I really enjoyed this video, so interesting to go kinda behind the scenes, I sure would like to meet the Chigger sometime. I can't get enough of his videos!
I really love learning more about you and how all this started. What a fun opportunity it must have been for you to tell your story. I thank you and your friends from college for getting together to share it with us.
Beau it’s a Sunday not much going on and I watched this. Now I know you won’t see it but I did enjoy it. I told my wife you spoke about that graveyard on Patsy’s property while I was with you. I just posted that video Friday by the way. I’ve learned a lot from you and thoroughly enjoyed the friendship.
Discovered your videos a couple months ago and I'm hooked. I love your enthusiasm and feel like I'm right there with ya. Thanks Chigg and please keep up the good work.
Me and the wife love watching you its been a mystery till now on your background keep up the good work love your knowledge!!!! Look forward to see you more in the future be safe.
That was fun! I think Chiggs success with kids and adults is his ability to do what he does in a manner that brings the viewer right there with him. "Do you see it...huh.....do ya?" "Keep your eye open you will probably see it before me." and of course the signature, "Hold your breath." His efforts to live dig, which I am sure takes some effort setting up the camera etc.... let's the viewer see the big reveal at the same time Chigg does....including them in that moment of awe and excitement. I watch several detector channels and many just don't bother and you only see the hole with the relic laying on top....after it has been dug. That takes all of the excitement and awe from it. Chiggs kindness with animals, reptiles and even the lowly slug shows a side of humanity we should all cherish....not just the kids. Lastly............. that song...........I love his closing song....every word of it.
Chig! I'm a 66 year old man who loves history and was bottle hunting and running around Lake Pontchatrain and Lake Bourne in NO.LA. when I was 8 years old in my 14' speed hull with an 18 hp Outboard motor looking for arrow heads on the shorelines. And even today I search when possible but it was when I was younger I had the most fun because I lived at the most eastern part of New Orleans on an island that was surrounded by the CHEF Menteur pass on one side which Fort Macome was and 9 miles east was the Rigolets Pass on highway 90 which is where the Parish of St Tammany starts and at that point was Fort Pike. That's why when we were kids we would call the place GODS COUNTRY.THANK YOU JAKE BISSEL.
Aqua Chig is a very likable old soul. I knew nothing about metal detectors until stumbling on his channel 6-7 years ago. I ran out and bought the AT Pro and exactly identical gear to him. Something too about his level of patients. He will throughly check out an area before giving up and moving on and that often pays off too!
I was surprised that you were asked some similar questions like what I asked you in our interview a couple years ago. LOL! And....You do so well answering. 😁 You are always entertaining. 😊 And....The BEST Mentor! 🏆 Loved it! 🥰
Great video Bo. Nice to get to know you a little bit better. My step dad started me bottle digging when I was 7 years old. And now I can't pass anyting up that's older than I am without stopping and looking and possibly bringing home. Great interview. Stay safe.
Your channel has replaced ALL of my cable tv shows. Your content is always top notch because you know how to communicate your passion for discovery in such a way that makes us all want to come along and be a part. Thanks, Beau!!!!
chigs being over modest. hes a regular wilderness sage. his videos are very fulfilling for those of us with mobility issues that no longer can make it out to such places. thank you chig.
Very interesting! I really enjoy every aspect of exploring. Your explanations of things. Such as topics of Botony, history, and explanations of topography. I have a deep respect for you and what you. In college I have studied Botony, archeology, astronomy, and biology, and chemistry. I love my sciences. It is great to see you living my dream. Thank you so much for sharing it with us.
Graet interview. You can tell you're much more comfortable speaking now as opposed to the passed. Always enjoy hearing your stories. Keeps me coming back to every video. Long time subscriber and one for life. Thanks for what you do and keep on diggen! "Holding my breath"😂
We LOVE watching your show and we also have a couple metal dectors and can hardly wait to get out and find something! Also please add 2 of your Chiggers Army caps to your list for us!

Great podcast. Never listened to these gentlemen before (besides A.C. of course) but if I was a listener of random podcasts, I would start tuning into this one if I didn’t know who he was.
This is just my opinion but I think you help others by showing them "the tree in the forest". Learning how to do that really opened my eyes and now I can see many things that I never would have seen before. Thank you for your videos I really enjoy them. Cindy Davis
It's a great interview loved it! Yeah remember when you go out and do some of your adventures when you bring up things like wild different types of wild berries I'd almost forgotten what some of those look like like elderberries for example oh, I remember picking enough of them and blackberries and coming home with chiggers! When I didn't listen to my granny! One of the old remedies they used to use as a tight old rags around the body of pants and above your sock that had a little bit of kerosene or back cuz they call it Kohr oil
Been a fan of your since I got back into metal detecting a year ago. Now my three old son recently discovered your magnet fishing videos and absolutely loves them.
One of the first video's of yours I saw was when you found all those silver coins in the creek. You felt that maybe they had been lost during the civil war. I've been a fan since.
Bo did you ever go back to the house with the pool you were walking in and there was the song of a young woman as you were walking around a limb that fell over the side of the pool. Best I can explain it. Don't know which episode or place you were but when I saw it it freaked me out. You know what I mean. Oh. Congratulations on your creation you make the woods fun. Right on brother
You need too come too missouri. So many rivers and civil war skirmishes and battles happened here. But, u have too watch out for the chiggers lol. Don't sit in the tall grass lol. I've never had any aqua chiggers that you speak of from being in the lake. Small lakes. Some ponds i wouldn't go in because they are used for cattle lol! But yes, lone jack mo. Lexington mo. Independence mo. All had battles. You would love the bbq and hometown cooking too. Alot of good people in mo.
This old world needs more Aquachiggers. Thank you sir for all you do for us.👍🏻
