This is one of my favorite songs and videos. Their look was so ahead of its time and not to mention sexy! Love 70s Queen! Now you need to react to the live version of this song at the Hammersmith performance in 1975.
Awesome reaction! You should check out My Fairy King ruclips.net/video/VeVjEg4znQk/видео.html, it is Freddie's first epic song, from their debut album. In the late 80's and 90's Queen went back to their more 70's sound. Freddie's voice became more powerful over the years, but he never really lost that youthfulness to his voice, he just prefer to sing with more power in a masculine fashion during the 80's. Freddie even used that youthful voice on the very last song that he recorded. A great song from 1989, which showed that Queen was going back to their more earlier sound is Was It All Worth It ruclips.net/video/sEhYFnwTciQ/видео.html. The song is about someone confessing their sins to a priest, he is looking for acceptance but he just fit in. He is even rejected by his family in the end he realized that you will have to be dead before you are accepted, this is actually one of Queen's darker songs. I would say this was the song Freddie wrote about being gay, not Bohemian Rhapsody, as many people believe.
For another great band who kept the switch ups coming, early Genesis is an incredible listen. Supper’s Ready, Cinema Show, Musical Box or Firth Of Fifth are out of this world. If you haven’t listened to It’s Late by Queen it’s all there must.
This is thrash metal before the term was invented!!! Try Stone Cold Crazy -Metallica covered it, if that tells you anything. Didn't you love John Deacons bass solo in this? Awesome!!!

Deaky's bass is epic!
Freddie wrote this song around 1969, before "Queen", it was called "Lover" and had different lyrics.

multilayered guitars
Freddie felt you could do hard rock and be melodic at the same time
John is grooving
