In my opinion, giveaways are a cheap shot at gaining subscribers. If someone is whining that you’re not giving away stuff for free, then they don’t need to be watching your videos. That’s absurd.

I have limited myself to one or 2 backups. I do have 5 wrapped in vanilla and 5 lemon pound cake because i ❤ those. If I really like something, I may get two backups because if I think someone I know would like a fragrance, then I will gift it to them.

Shaughnessy, please try not worry or stress about people in the comments talking about giveaways. Don’t give them any more of your time or energy. people that don’t do online content don’t understand the amount of time, energy, money & thought that goes into what you do. Thank you for making this video I really gotta stop myself from overbuying. I feel like once you own more than 50 mists you don't need backups of scents you don't love eg. I love iced lemon poundcake so I bought 4 but I don't buy 1 or more of scents I don't love even if they might not bring it back because it's so hard to finish 1 mist that I like in a month let alone the backups.
same! i get such bad fomo with scents because i'm worried about them getting discontinued. i backup because i have anxiety about finishing mists even though i've literally never finished a full-sized mist or perfume, ugh. i'm a little better with bb&w since they generally bring back scents *eventually*, but i get nervous with vs/pink since they usually don't bring back scents once they've been discontinues

I got lucky a few times, and found 1 mist of blueberry sugar pancakes at an SAS sale in 2022 and this year I snagged a bottle of sweet heart cherry 🍒 and 4 iced lemon poundcake.

I got 5 backups of everything in cotton candy clouds when it came back this SAS 😩 it’s my all time favorite & I got 3 backups of the new pumpkin scent, I really love it. Other than that, I don’t get backups because once I use up a product I usually want something new lol. Great video 💕💕
I think Stargazer is the channel. She uses a lot of products. If I get through 3 FFM and a couple of lotions I feel good. And I have a lot of surface area for the product. Lol. Still takes me a while

Be glad about your wrapped in vanilla we had to do that because you're right we don't know when it's coming back. I think I got 3 myself 3 full sets and I did the same thing with the Victoria secret vanilla luxe because if anything I will use vanilla before everything else ,when I don't know what to put on its usually a vanilla that I reach for
I wish I’d gotten 10 bottles of Wrapped In Vanilla 🎉 I mix it with everything and now I’m rationing it out😭😂
@@RPBSpeaksi wish I'd got 20 of wrapped in vanilla that's my absolute favorite. I only got 2 of them and I've used 1 of them which leaves me with one that I refuse to use up. I hate they didn't bring it back. Its crazy that they won't bring back the best ones. If they ever bring back wrapped in vanilla I promise I'm getting at least 10 of them… lol
I never got to smell Wrapped in Vanilla 😢 Hopefully BBW will surprise us one day

I love your honesty. I have a large collection so I don't have a lot of back ups, but I watch reviews and buy fragrances that I have something similar 🙄.

Want it be great for the smaller BBWs stores sale the new new, and the bigger BBWs sale all the discontinued products!? Bc people like myself just jump back into buying BBW which I haven’t bought it in over 15yrs! 😮
So some of the fragrances I’ve seen a lot of the content creators rave about that is no longer available has me a bit curious and anxious to have.

A lot of scents - I would definitely have bought back-ups for if they came in a lotion instead of only cream version because we all know how creams go bad.. In fact , Starting back in Christmas 2023, to present day, Ive been using up my creams first - from both VS & BBW...I'm so proud of myself because ive actually put a dent in my already huge collection 😊
. However, I am a showergel junkie so I will buy 2- 3 backups of a scent while still only having 1 lotion & one body spray for it😅😅😅....

I am trying to dial back my buying. There are exceptions to my rule. I have A LOT of Covered In Roses. Like over 10 backups. BUT! I wear it almost everyday with 2 different perfumes: Armaf Club de Nuit Imperiale and Zara's Rose Gourmand. I go through it easily, as I find it fades on my skin and I spray frequently throughout the day. I'm so afraid they'll just get rid of it. It already isn't available ANYWHERE in store. I'm actually hoping the rumor is true that they're expanding the line for the Everyday Luxury Collection. But I'm sticking to no more than 3 bottles at a time with any other fragrances. And girl I hear you on selling online. I could probably sell some of my collection but I'm not interested in all that work 😅

Oh I feel you for sure. I have a whole bookcase of mists and lotions and a rolling trolly full of backups. I know I won’t stop buying completely, but no more backups unless I absolutely fall in love with something. The way they seem to be watering things down these days I’m not sure if there will be anything mind blowing any time soon…
They put the Paris amour at the outlets so now I’m not sure if it’s getting released or not . I broke down and got it from mercari lol no regrets it smells amazing. I get it doing the whole reselling stuff is a lot of extra work. Smh people always have something rude to say about how someone else hosts their own platform. I think you are doing great and I Liked your vibe so I subscribed lol the haters can keep scrolling and learn how to mind their own business.
I have never once thought you need to do giveaways, I enjoy watching cause it’s like spending time with a friend. we enjoy you and your hilarious and beautiful self! The entitlement is ridiculous 🥴
Also, I sell on Mercari cause I am the idiot that thinks I need to stock up way too many when I love a scent, and then realize what did I do? I don’t buy every scent that they have, so I only buy what I love and not every single scent that comes out anymore. All that to say, I have been getting scammed on Mercari from buyers and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. The platform says the buyer has the priority and gives them the product for free and doesn’t pay you. Probably time to move to eBay and make myself stop overbuying.
Also, the YT culture needs to change from promoting everything that’s just coming out and just show us what you’re enjoying using! These mega companies need to stop promoting and giving PR to the teenyboppers on TikTok who don’t have any money to buy all the high end stuff and start using “real” people who are adults and have the paycheck to afford products. 🙄

Don't feel bad about not doing Giveaways, a girl named Samantha Zambrano signed up for one of my giveaways in 2015 she won. And she never even talked about the stuff like I showed 2 items sent a whole collection box full of stuff. She said someone damaged it and got smart with me. The last 2 giveaways that I had, candleberry had Parameters and I asked that if they had a channel that they please share that they won my giveaway cause I thought that's how I would get known. They didn't. I decided maybe I was wrong because I liked the people that won my give away and I didn't want anyone to feel bad so I just stopped doing giveaways because if they can't follow my parameters. Maybe I was the one wrong to request these parameters. And I just stopped and I thought I had pretty good giveaways. I tried to make them fun. And nice. I tried to do various things, but in the end it didn't work out for me so I quit.
@@joannamccloud I agree with you and I'm sorry that was your experience. It seems like people ruin it for everyone on so many things in life unfortunately. I myself gifted a ton of stuff to Cynthia from cynthiam106 and she still will say a shout out if she pulls one of the items even though she doesn't have too. It shows some people truly appreciate it and others don't and unfortunately some end up ruining it for everyone. I think you all are amazing and it's sad people have nothing better to do than come on saying or doing things that make you all feel a type of way when it's suppose to be fun and enjoyable. I definitely have backups that I don’t need but I also have a strict price limit when it comes to them. The only one I regret is Sunset Gelato from Pink. I did the 3 for $24 and don’t even like the scent that much.
The only ffm that I would keep repurchasing with no regret would be In the Stars.
This video is right on time because I was just telling myself I need to slow down on these mist. I definitely have several I didn’t need backups for. Into the Stars, especially since it’ll always be available. Meet me in Miami, I only used this once since it first came out. Coco paradise, it’s nice but I didn’t need any more. Dressed in White, like girl I didn’t need any more and I got a few in the minis too 🤦🏾♀️ We can go on and on. I most definitely will not be getting backs up anymore until my collection is reduced
This is why I don’t run out and buy everything that people hype up. I had way to much product and started donating to Goodwill. It was becoming a real problem for me. Thank you for your honesty.
I'm happy that I'm not that moved by packaging. I'm usually ok with my fragrance mist in the old packaging.

I stopped myself from back ups last year. Guilty as charged 😂. I have 3 pure wonders, 2 thousand wishes, 2 into the night, 2 forever red and 2 denim daisies. I’ve been shopping my stash lately and just need to stop buying so much. Hard to do

I don’t watch your channel for free stuff :) I can buy my own, lol. I watch you because I share your passion for fragrance :) I have the same issues…overbuying. But I’ve had so many regrets in the past with BBW not bringing beloved items back (rip sugared cherry crisp). They have given me trust issues for sure 😂😂. But I have been better at buying in other places. I allow myself BBW, but I havent bought from Vicky, the body shop, Lush or Fortune Cookie Soap anymore. I also want to do better at using my stuff up. Here is hoping ❤
The champagne toast that they have of today is not the original champagne toast that came out in the rectangular bottles. I have the original. And I even showed the difference in the notes somewhere on my Instagram and in a video here. Because I bought that pretty diamond cut packaging It was in.
I am amazed that some people feel so entitled that they feel complete strangers owe them gifts. Giveaways can be fun, but they are not a requirement! Dang! People need to mind their business and not demand things from you.
On another note, backups are the worst. B&BW plays games with us and it's so easy to fall prey to them. I'm really trying to cut back on all my wants there. I almost bought two of a candle today and was like "no, use the one first!"

I feel you with this, did the same when I started my collection😒😏Kinda have to do that when you’re first learning these company’s trends/product roll out patterns. At least we’ve learned our lesson, or are trying to. On the flip side I kick myself for not backing up some, Midsummer Dream in my case. Lol! I think the max backup I have are two for sweetheart cherry, lemon poundcake, and strawberry snowflake. I rarely get backups

Thank you for your honestly and realness, I can relate ❤ I have about 4 white t shirt bottles that is my desert island scent and i love fresh coconut and cotton always receive a lot of compliments wished I would have stocked up on that more 😅 I have learned like you said unless it's an ultimate scent for me like those mentioned, I will not be loading up on a lot of mists of the same fragrance. I have learned the hard way now to be easy on the body creams since they go bad faster.
Some people share their fragrance mist with their kids, and they use it as air freshener. I’m about to use it as a pre scent. Like I spray my clothes down before I put them on. Then I go crazy on perfume after I put them on. Gets be blowing threw the mist

Thank you for telling us the truth. I only have 4 backups of Twisted Peppermint and Into The Night. I get tired of the scents after a while. I don’t buy remakes because they never seml the same to me.
Guuuurl! I took back over $500 worth of stuff at the end of SAS! I looked at my collection & all this STUFF I needed to put away & said "no ma'am!" My storage is already full & I'm not buying more! When I added up my return receipts, I was APPALLED! And I kept 35 items. 🤦🏾♀️The only scents I have more than 1 back up of is Madagascar Vanilla & cotton candy clouds (last years edition).

Spray my clothes inside and out
Spray my skin like a mad woman😂
Spray my throw pillows,curtains !throw rugs
Use in bathroom ,remembering to spray shower curtain too
Use inside slippers right before showering so when I step back in them they smell good
If I buy 2 sets, I feel like I overbought.
I wish they had travel sizes for all the mists, since I don't use enough product. Went nuts when I first started but I started to see my usage didn't justify purchases. So now, am trying to buy only what I love and will wear, and offload anything that is too similar or just 'nice' or anything I like but don't use. There will always be new ones to love.
I got Everlasting Magic & Vampire Blood hoping for a Cherry Crisp alternative and I don’t really like them. I just sprayed myself with both listening to your video 😂
Honestly, I could have several bottles of Sweetheart Cherry, Strawberry Snowflake, Fall In Bloom and Wrapped In Vanilla. All the rest could go 😂

I just told myself no more FFM I have so many and also feel like I wasted a lot of money on FFMs and after a few years the mist start to go bad so I’m trying to use most of my products and keep a maximum of 10 mist no more than that

I realized any of the heavier scents I really don’t need to back up. I don’t get through them quick. Like dark kiss, into the night, a thousand wishes. Honestly even fairytale which I’m obsessed with and have like 3 back ups of. Ask me the last time I wore it 😭
I only have one back up of wrapped in vanilla because I didn’t realize when I got it how popular was I hadn’t been the bath and Bodyworks for a few years so I went in there and started getting stuff I liked. Oh and everlasting magic I like that one I think I have maybe three bottles total and I think I had three of the creams and I use them all except the mistsOf course I still have three bottles and they’re mostly all full. But if that came back again, I would buy more cream or lotion to match that again. I’m trying to do the limitation thing because I’ve been finding I have too much stuff lol.
Denim and daisies is so good with montblanc signature, i got my bottle on a whim this SAS luckily they only had one lol. I wish I hadn’t blind bought vanilla mocha martini it’s not my vibe. I like champagne toast in home fragrance and i bought a travel set … not even sure I’m gonna use it lol.
Just because you have a channel does not mean you have to do not one giveaway…that’s ridiculous. Some folks are so entitled it’s pitiful.
Great video. Loved this idea. BBW got me when they said they were discontinuing You’re The One. I bought a lot of back up body creams lol. And they ended up bringing it right back not too long after. I forgot to tell you. You may not care, but if you would care the Berry brulee that Victoria's secret has is said by a lot of people to be like the tease Cocoa soiree. I feel like they're different. But I feel like it's because I still have the Cocoa one. But for the people that missed out on that 1. This Berry brulee is really really nice. I just didn't get it. But I'm starting to have second thoughts on it and the amber one and we already know, I want more pistachio and another sugared lotion.

Just got pure wonder for the first time a couple of weeks ago, I hope I love it.
For each season, I pick different scents. But only one I get backups of. I do not want to be stuck with Summer since come fall and fall since come winter and so on.

Pretty sure the channel that buys 12 sets of lotions and mists doesn’t use all that she buys. She more than likely sells them.
My boyfriend started coming over and using my perfumes to spray the inside of his shoes lol so I just put Bath and Bodyworks mists here and there and told him he could use those instead ha ha

I just brought home the PINK APPLE hair mist, because of the flyer in the mail.. im ashamed of wasting money on it, it lasts around 6 minutes and does not smell as advertised 😞
If it were an actual perfume then it would likely be decent. This mist they wont allow me to get a refund under 24hrs sadly.
