- MY HANDBAG / PURSE COLLECTION OF ASPINAL OF LONDON HANDBAGS & ACCESSORIES. In this video I wanted to show you my collection of Aspinal handbags, this is an English brand that has been around for some years. I’d say they are mid-priced and I like them for their quality, classic design, quirkiness and also for instances where I don’t want the liability of taking a designer bag out with me. I talk quite openly in this about pros/cons and also how they have worn so far. Aspinal are a good brand to consider if you are looking at other handbag brands around the same price range (e.g. Furla, Coach, Kate Spade, See by Chloe)

Hi Sophie, the "rubber" you referred to is called edge painting. It is a hand applied process with a small roller tool that has to be applied by hand, dried in stages and then replied and buffed at the end. Some companies take shortcuts especially in the drying process or use a machine (these are usually the bags that have issues.) When the process is completed by heritage companies such as ASPINAL OF LONDON, Hermes and Chanel it can one of the most gorgeous aspects of the bag. If you pick up a bag and it looks gummy, thick, or drippy (meaning it wasn't applied and dried correctly) it will eventually almost always look worse and it can crack and chip off. Hope this helps.

I just got my first large lottie bag and I love it. I agree with you, I dont want to go to work with a high end bag. There is a time and place for everything.
I’ve watched a couple of other Channels where the lady running it has shown her luxury pieces. What I prefer about your channel and your videos is that you review the luxury pieces from a practicality perspective, I’m currently working my butt off to have savings and finance education so when I look at luxury pieces I want to know about the quality and practicality. Now if everyone else were as smart and actually promoted good brands that are there for the influencers instead of chasing impossible brands that don't really need promotion. I love Aspinal, but also in the same price/quality range options are Furla and Mansur Gavriel.

Oh really? I never thought that! I know that Lorenzo is traditionally an Italian male name, but I know women who have (traditionally) male names etc, so I didn't think anything of it.
Hmm, it's hard to say really as it depends on what you want your channel to be known as. For example, you could give it an official title (not related to you), or you could of course use your real name as the name of your channel. Only you can know based on your strategy for it... I'm sorry, this may or may not be helpful! There's no right or wrong I guess is what I'm saying :) xxx

Hello lovely MJ!! I don't actually - I think that customs tax is calculated based on the value of the item and the tax rate in your district? For example, in the UK the tax charges start at £15.00 (value of goods) and the tax charged is calculated in tax bands. I would probably see if there is any info on US import tax online, we have a uk tax website here that tells us what the tax will be based on the value. I hope this helps! xx

Problem with Aspinal - their quality is piss poor. The leather doesn't last and scratches like no tomorrow. Check the saggy bag and all the creases/lines in the video. Sure, all leather will have some sort of wear but this one is really bad even after less than a year
