Hello my friend. There is much to be inspired by the past. I also appreciate this idea. nice hammock idea. Go on. A very good idea. Thank you for showing the details. I wish you have a nice weekend. All the best. Ll see.
In your video of cutting the fabric for your replicate US Navy hammock, at the 1:42 mark, a popup says "Video shows me cutting too much off of my triangles" If this is the case, just how much should have been cut off? I am gathering materials to recreate this hammock myself, and would like to avoid the mistakes you may have made. Thanks for sharing you tutorial. I enjoyed it. I already made the 2 clews and can't wait to finish the hammock and relive MY navy days.

You’re a brave soul. I would love to buy a boat however I’m the only one responsible in my home that realizes one must know everything about everything regarding the boat first.

If you find that your single hem is in danger of fraying, you could paint the edge with a fabric glue to help hold the threads.
Thank you for this tip

My #4 cotton duck is due to arrive today. I am wondering whether your length edge ever started to unravel and if so, how you handled it.
