Since Escape listens to you: Consider asking them to add a lock button on the stencils on the orange five-circle menu. This will avoid moving it during the whole process! Thats a good idea on how to use stencils!
What I find disappointing is for years now we still don't have a proper fill tool with pixal expansion. Something so simple should have been i,plemented long long ago
Krita never needs to "know" ahead of start which tablet I'm using. I just start Krita (for years now) and it works with fingertip, mouse or whatever tablet I've connected... all at once. I have to start and restart every time I switch from laptop screen stylus and XP-Pen tablet with Rebelle. No problems with Nanopixel on a Ryzen 5 pc.
@richardhaas1989 I think some things just run WinTab drivers which generally work - e.g. ArtRage and Realistic. Is it an AMD GPU on your Ryzen PC? Wondering if it is an Nvidia specific issue?
@@BasementPicasso If I set Rebelle to Wintab the laptop screen stylus works but the XP-Pen tablet does not. If I set Rebelle to Wacom, XP-Pen works fine but the screen stylus does not. I wonder about a hardware issue since this has always how it has been through several laptops and Krita, Lightroom etc, just work.
I wasn't aware of that. I don't tend to use Adobe products, even before their recent controversies, but it wouldn't surprise me if there are elements within a PSD file that don't map across correctly.
@@BasementPicasso Unfortunately they don't seem to map across correctly. Odd thing is other software like Krita/ Clip Studio and Paintstorm have no problems. That's why I asked. I thought you might know something and that I was the problem.
@@Frostensen Sorry, I don't have any further info for you. If you can spare the time & energy it would be worth reporting on their forum www.escapemotions.com/community/forum/c/134/Rebelle-7-support-other-issues

@RobertHopkinsArt - great idea, thank you! I have logged it as a suggestion on the forum for now - and credited you for the idea :-)
The post describes our idea perfectly! Have a great day!
One minute starting might be a personal issue. My Rebelle starts in 10 seconds. Love the update review. Kinda inspires me to use stencils!
Interesting ... what OS / system are you running on? I have win 11, core i9 & RTX 2080

@cosmicfxx Yeah I would also like a fill brush to quickly draw filled shapes - like infinite painter has!

Is it me or Rebelle doesn't import masks together with PSD files from Photoshop?
