As a survivor main, I hate how my teammates stay at the exit and emote while waiting for the hunter. Honestly we would have won if they didn’t emote

Same im new to idv and I main survivor and I opened the gate so that other people could escape put they just stood in the gate and made gravitys and emotes its so annoying :(
I don’t emote but I wait for my teammates. Idk I always felt like it was mean to leave them when ur a team. Or like when hunter teleports I normally ping hunter is near me and while the hunter tries to hit me out of gate, the last survivor can like have time before the crows appear.
Omg, I hate when they emote at me... Even when they "dance emote" while running, but when they stun and then "confused/provoke emote" thats the worstttt!!!!! 😭😭😭😭😭

One time a coordinator waited for me at the gate when everyone was gone just to flare gun me but she missed and hit the wall instead bc I dodged it , like I already know what u gonna do sweetie , it so predictable , just leave like the rest of your team, it super annoying and toxic

@@Midnight_Crystal I have seen quite plenty of match where the survivors turn a draw to lose, cuz they keep emoting at the gate :3 Of course I'm happy as a hunter, but I pity their teammate.

I don’t understand why they need to harass you, the time they spent harassing could’ve been spent on decoding ciphers. This is exactly why survivors have a bad win rate, it’s because they harass the hunter instead of decoding. Also that prospector is annoying, as a prospector main it quite literally pisses me off at what he’s doing, prospector has a decent decoding speed yet instead of decoding he’s harassing you even when you weren’t chasing someone. Also the time that doctor was on chair in the photo world could’ve been used to decode a cipher.

I'm guessing this is a quick match and this is a suicide survivor teams. Suicide survivor teams don't care about winning, they just go in there and do whatever they want. This usually includes picking a stunner survivor and constantly stunning the hunter until everyone dies. Survivors in rank matches don't actually do this.
Today I as prospector (main sorry for harrasing but its only way to save time when someone cant kite)saved my image from photographer and kiting for some time.but I don't waste my magnets on harrasing hunter for nothing.it can be that in some matches prospectors don't get kited (one time I just decoded tried to save someone and died a saving)so to prevent that if we can kite better then someone they can harrass Ive won many matches because I wasted hunters time for decoding.
Lmao they be emoting us and just think it's for fun. They keep provoking us and when they get down, they spin and put grafittis like nothing happen.

Tip: use emote when transitioning to next cipher/when you met your teammates. Don't use it to be an ass to the hunter who's trying their best dealing with 4 people (:

I play too much as a hunter and the truth is I get very frustrated when someone do emotes while I'm trying to hit them, i get nervous and I think I won't win because of that 😔

Emoting during a long chase, after a pallet spam or staying at the exit gate just to harass and taunt the hunter is the literal definition of toxicity. It is disrespectful and honestly ruins the game for the other side. But sure be as fcking toxic as you can, I stopped playing this game because of trashcans like you long ago. Just don’t be surprised when you have 10 min queques for matches since noone wants to play hunter.
I'm new at idv and I always like "oh that emote its pretty cool lol", "she/he has so many emotes that means how pro is he/she", I never think that emote= mock ur opponent😂 sometimes I just do circle dancing to celebrate victory

I main Antonio as hunter and there was a time I was trying to get a doctor. Good kiting skill and used all her pallets pretty well except ONE. She threw down a pallet then started crawling around (taunt) and stood on the other side waiting for me to break the pallet so she could transition to another good kiting spot. I figured she was waiting and I was right because I laid down to sonatas and she thought I missed her but then I ripped the strings and they got her. Anyway, she died along with most her team mates. (Except Mike bc I always chose one surv to spare at the begining of the game and I chose Mike. Rlly sweet surv glad I chose them to spare)

A fem dancer kept emoting during kite at duo so i bled her out. Partner hunter didnt have my back and other surv criticized me (fem dancer also acted all smug). I dont care. That shiz disgusting and ill do it again.

I mean when I’m hunter, I just think it’s kinda cute. It makes the chase less boring. It’s what it’s there for... bleeding out is a total waste of time and by far more toxic IMO. Plus the “toxic” emoting survivors are the ones that normally give likes and are alright in post match...
@@gamer3d147 In my experience, these emoting survs are the ones who curse you in post match chat, but I'm glad it makes you happy when survs emote while kiting. Hopefully you won't meet the ones who are incredibely rude in post match chat!

Lot of people are complaining about the fact that a lot of main hunters are leaving the game, and it’s like: “OOOOH, I REALLY REALLY HAVEN’T ANY IDEA OF WHY IS THIS HAPPENING”.
I don't really like being a hunter because of that, they're so annoying, dealing with four people is hard enough I don't need them mocking me ರ╭╮ರ
I don't think the survivors emoting at the end were being toxic, it was more like them accepting defeat and just messing around. I do that a lot when it's just me left, it's like "Kill me hunter~"
i don’t think emoting is toxic tbh, when they emote i look at the situation as a challenge, they’re being like “come and catch me if you can!” and i’m being like “alright challenge accepted!” i still don’t understand why do ppl find it toxic. for me being toxic is getting salty after the match and cursing hunter/survivors.

hiii, im pretty new to this game and what i observed from the word 'toxic' is it meant different to everyone who played idv. for example, the hunters find it toxic for survs to wait/emote at them at the gate when they could have escaped the way that survs find it toxic for hunters to bleed them to death. some hunters hate it when the survs emoted at them during kiting or after stuns bcs it felt like the survs are mocking them. and so does some of the survs hate it when hunters used graffiti or emoting after they have downed/tie them to the balloon. and idk how this could be helped but maybe players should understand each other more so the game could be enjoyable for everyone

Ex : if u use the provoke emote while running maybe once than thats fine
But if u spam the emote while kitting then yeah
There's also emoting after stunning a hunter
Especially after doing it several times
Or emoting after youve clearly caused the hunter alot of distress or when ur constantly harrasing for no reason and emoting
Ex : an ench or prod following the hunter around and then stunning the hunter non stop followed by constantly emoting then yeah thats toxic
But emoting once or twice while being chased is fine
Emoting is totally okay therefore it's in the game...but in some moments of gameplay, emoting with some specific emotes, I'm not talking from all emotes, is just very disrespectful to the hunter. And the same thing is for the survivor disrespectful as well if the hunter is doing such a thing in a moment that is not appropriate for an emote...
this is honestly one of my worst fears when ever i play joseph- how do people even try not to cry when this happens pls my rsd can’t handle this
Hahahaha, yeah, sadly our beloved Joseph can be bullied easily... but we just have to outsmart them & make them confused enough that even they don't know what they are doing ;)
I had many matches being bullied as Joseph, its frustrating but you have to get used to it. In games like these I always remind myself that they are having fun so I'm not going to ruin it for them.

one time when all of my friends went down, the hunter kept me around so I couldn’t escape but decode and once I did 3 cipher machines I was about to go but they eliminated me. Then they said f*** in post match

Wait am I the only one who didn't find it toxic?? I'd understand if they hit them with the pallet then emotes but all they did was emote and just standing there, clearly they gived up and was just emoting. I swear yall find anything toxic, what's the whole point of emotes then.

Honestly, survivors emoting or doing graffitis are only putting the hunter at advantage anyways. it's a 10 minutes match at most and they'll move on from it. Though, i would understand calling them toxic only if they were calling others names and accuse them or some stuff like that

Exactly! I don't think emotes should be used to mock a hunter... They should notice it already, just look at the waiting times for survs... It'll only get worse if they keep disrespecting hunter mains...
@@Midnight_Crystal ya, the waiting times really get worse because of that, I already think about switching to hunter main, mostly because the waiting times are way too long,, (sometimes over four minutes)
@@misa9765 I don't really recommend going Hunter main cus whenever I go on Hunter the survivors are always mocking and harassing me, there was this one time I was going with geisha and they all kept harassing me at the end I didn't manage to chair a single one and when I found them at the gate they were just clapping and spinning all over it like literally just waiting for me to try and hit them just so they can leave anyways. I was okay with losing but the moment they started emoting while I was chasing them and waiting for me at the gate I got pissed 😠

There was this time a gardener rescued a perf and hit both of em so they went down, gardener before dying just danced and I just danced with her for a moment as geisha and then searched perf

I used axe boy and a survivor emote at the open gate. I used the fireball and knocked them out then chaired them. I still lost but boy it was satisfying.
I only do emotes or gravitis when the hunter helped me to escape (yes some hunters are nice I was so confused at first) but not in a mocking way I use it as a "thank you" and one time when I played killer they startet mocking me with the emotes and I captured them one by one after the game they got angry and called me toxic etc. (They even reported me) but why!? Did I do something wrong? (I'm new to idv I only played dbd) please tell me if I did smth wrong I don't want to get reported again 😕😔 (nothing haopened but still)
Emotes and graffitis are ok to use if it's not to mock/ make fun of / provoke the other players. You didn't do anything wrong, sometimes survivors call hunters toxic when they couldn't win and are mad about it...

Don’t worry about it! Survivor mains will call ANYTHING toxic, and that’s coming from a mainly survivor main like... someone called me toxic for terror shocking them, another called me toxic for not giving them dungeon even though they were the last survivor and 4 cyphers were remaining, once someone called me toxic for going afk and not going friendly when there was a survivor right beside me when I got back
The only time I’ll emote or put down graffiti, is when it’s a friendly hunter, any other time I think it’s pretty rude, that’s all I have to say have a good day/night :D

I also had a bit of experience with handling bullies while also playing as Joseph.
One time while we were in the waiting room, one of the survivors, thief I think, said, ” f*ck u hunter! I’m not saving any of y’all!” I was so shocked like :0 Then as soon as the match started I was lucky enough to run into him first lol Sadly for him, he went down rather easily and after getting strapped in the chair I decided to stand guard to make sure he wouldn’t get saved. As I’m standing guard, one of the other survivors, gardener, stands a bit behind me and started emoting at the thief lol I laughed at this and decided to let the gardener be the only one to live. The end.😆

One time i played versus a really good photographer, he was really qmazing at the game but trash talked after the match was over. I was like: bro what??? You win the match, why you are talking like this???
Exactly.... It's very sad how many toxic players there are in both fractions... We have to try not to pay attention to them, even if it's hard sometimes...

I agree, even if I am survivror main I never emote the hunter to provoke them, they are players like the others who came to have fun and not to end their party by being pissed off or sum so yeah stop pls it's really annoying
There was one time I was playing Joseph in Moonlit Park and I killed off 3 survivors already. And my teleport was on cooldown so I couldn't get to the other gate where Mech was at. She didn't leave and kept emoting and I had to wait like 3 minutes for her to leave
I feel terrible when I stun a hunter more then one time tbh. Cause I just know the frustration 😩
The wildest match I was in was when I multiple times hit the hunter with at pallet, and I was using “The minds eye” and we were against a Wu Chang.🥲
this happends to me a lot, and i stopped playing hunter for a while since i started to get anxiety attacks everytime i played as hunter ):
now i can control my feelings more and tolerate it but toxic people is seriously the problem here, harassing the hunters is so annoying

I'm so sorry that you had to go through that when playing as hunter. my friend was going through the same thing and its pretty hard to convince her these days to play as hunter. you didn't deserve that toxic energy. just know that in some ways or the other, they are going to get slapped by karma
The only person who was toxic was the dancer all the others were just playing that game and even then the dancer only emotes once and wasn't doing it the whole time

I'll simple it out for you.
When a survivor puts graffiti or does emote while a hunter is chasing them it means they are mocking them and they are not taking this match seriously cause the hunter is not that good.
There is also a way to be toxic to your teammates as well and it's spamming thank you, most survivor do this when the other survivor is down early, got terror shock, did not body block etc.
@@beahappyweeb7186 that's not toxic though, I emote beforehand even before knowing if the hunter is good or not. There's certain types of ways of toxicity and that is not one of them. If they stunned with pallet then emote that's toxic. I do my dance while kiting to help me relax a bit, if we can't use emotes then what's the whole point of emotes?

Well that’s for you cause you main survivors but me and my friends who main hunters find it toxic when you emote to the hunter WHILE kiting. You may think it’s okay to emote cause it’s your perspective but in the hunters perspective that’s just plain toxicity. :>
@@PandoraParoru well most people don’t have that emote for all the characters so they use stuff like “hurry up” “scratching head” “ok” basically any emote they have.
Emoting itself isn't toxic, it's about how the person plays. If they play normally but just emote a few times it's not toxic. If they don't decode the entire match and just follow you around emoting then that's toxic. I honestly don't get how a small emote can hurt your feelings, it's basically just dance walking 😂
I'm remembering my 17 min. match with Joseph. Survivors was Mechanic,Seer,Forward and Prospector.I was planning to try Mary but suddenly pros and forward started to say "Fuck you hunter" "noob hunter" ect. And I changed to the Joseph.And after 17 min with after bullied by them and tolarating their toxic actions,all of them chaired UwU But acting like that is not okay this is a game this is not their "bully" place:/

I feel like the only time it's acceptable to just stand at the gate is when your teammate is being chased and you think you have a chance to save them after they're chaired (Like when hunter loses detention skill)

I hate hunters who do graffiti spam the most after catching me and hitting my chair after tying me up. Why did they do that? Even though I only focus on kiting and don't do anything toxic to him at all. Disgusting.

I was about to comment on how I love Joseph from head to toe and in every sway of his hips while walking nut after I read some comments I decided not to and say sorry for those hunter mains who experience this kind of players 🥺 but I really love Joseph even tho I can't play him well 😭

I literally scream whenever I got this kind of teammates. I don't play decoder but suddenly I become one the whole match. When all of them get chair I ignore them and go to dungeon. You just throw my match don't expect me to save your ass. Of course I try to save them, at least get a tie. But they wasted the chance.

I remember when I was playing with a toxic team, I was complimenting the hunter for getting us all and the toxic players just kept on insulting the hunter 😭

Once me as survivor (Doctor) was in a match with a toxic survivors. They spamed "Thank u''' when i get damaged by the hunter.
The hunter ( Jack ), let me live bcs i was spining at him, i like a lot him, HAHHA.
I don't rescue anyone, but they keep spaming at me "Thank you", n i was like: Bruh--.
I don't think the word 'teasing' exist in most idV player's vocabulary.
i remember when you play idv there's a time where you have to play as a hunter to progress and me being the anxious coward had no choice but to do it. of course i sucked at it, and did not know what the hell i needed to do. so these toxic ass people started mocking me with emotes, and the amount of stress it gave me was way too much for me to handle. i was nearly crying (jk i already was) and quitted the game for a year. now i play the game again and have sworn to never EVER play as hunter again.
Awww... sad to hear that... It's terrible that this can happen at all. That's why I hate toxic players sooo much. They can ruin others' day, and even make them quit the game.

honestly, when survs emote at me i don't nessecarily find them toxic. i find it annoying and provoking which is what emoting is somewhat suppose to do. what i do find toxic is when they emote at the gate, like theres no need for that, just please leave.
When I am at the gate is when I do the agree emote to the partner who decoded it and immediately leave, a way of saying good job and leaving so that whoever wants to escape through dungeon can leave faster, I don't understand why they stay and wait for the hunter, not only is it disrespectful for the Hunter, like they tried they're best and here you are mocking them (눈‸눈)

Tbh I never emote infront of the hunter unless it’s like bowing when it’s a nice hunter or when I’m on my own I do the provoke emote because I think it’s kind of cute- but other then that I wouldn’t waist my time emoting when I could be running from the hunter

Agree there was a time where I am almost at the gate but the dungeon was in front of me so i tell them to leave but they just stand there and emote and they realize that I was in the dungeon and they said “it’s your fault for not telling us” IDIOTS I WAS AT THE DUNGEON

The first emote I got was thiefs shouting and I went and used whereever I ran. I didn't knew at time they can provoke hunter hunter was axe boy somehow I kited good on 2 pallets😂. I don't know what hunter thought at time but sorry if he reads this(5%chance).
I use prospector with tide turner and saved one lawyer after detention I stood on chair he didn't hit me he changed form(Wu Chang) i doged , saved and tide turner escape gate and agree emote we were going to lose but became draw.(I was so happy that I used agree emote while running out) I don't know what hunter was thinking
I play hunter too and when I lose because of enchantress or prospector I become frustrated cause your hit are disturbed by enchan and prosp this make me most frustrated as Joseph,sculptor
Omg that reminded me of my last games as a hunter (I stopped playing hunter since I couldn't take it anymore). I had a pretty bad ping and couldn't get a hit on anyone throughout the whole match. I was trying really hard but just couldn't. So at the end of the match I just went to the gate like "alright, might as well try to get a single person" and two of them just stayed at the gate emoting. My ping was still really bad so I couldn't get a hit but even me being literally there with them behind the gate didn't stop them. They were just missing my attacks and emoting like wtf?? You get a free win, you had a fun game and you STILL feel the need to act toxic? I was pretty new so I didn't know that I could surrender so I was just there waiting for a few minutes till they got bored.
I'm so sad to hear that... I don't understand why these players can't respect hunters enough to at least leave without mocking... When they are the ones spamming "hunters join rank" in the chat all the time...

Tbh I really don't see how it is toxic,emotes were made for a reason,esepecially the provoke emote,they are using the emote they way they should be used,I do admit that it's pretty annoying but overall not toxic,but don't complain if the hunter hits your chair and emotes at you if you emote at them

There was this doctor in rank who pallet stunned me and confused emotes at me. So when I got her down ( I got her down in like 10 seconds idk what she got so cocky for) I rolled a dice at her and chaired her.
I love, love, LOVE destroying toxic survs. Emoting after a pallet stun or dancing while coming to save, but they are too cocky/ unskilled that they get downed immediately, or too focused on being toxic that they just feed me presence cause they don’t wanna leave me alone. Love to destroy them

i played a jojo game and did a trick where i walked to the side of the survivor, getting them cornered on the exit wall and downed them, they were toxic but atleast i got a tie, i was pretty happy
As a person who mains survivor, I hate having toxic team mates. It is so annoying having to deal with such a horrible team; I don't bother saving the toxic people/ones who cheat or hack in the game. I'm so sorry hunter mains have to constantly deal with toxic survivors. Identity V is purely toxic and the creators of Identity V need to be better at the report system, because there have been so many times where I was told by someone to ''Kys'' because I simply kited them for a long time. They will censor the word gay but not that sort of subject? its kind of upsetting.
Whenever i meet a toxic surv as hunter, i just kill em and then emote them while theyre chaired ovo

The mercenary don't stop to tell me sarcastic thank u, and when i was chaired he emote me in the chair, THE DOCTOR COME TO RESCUE MEE LIKE DUDE, UR JOB IS RESCUE AND U CAN'T DO THAT EASY THING??????, also he was angry bc i was so slow, like IM DECODER GOD
One time I lost because my teammates were emoting at the gate and I was trying to get them to leave because the hunter had detention but they didn't listen and we all deid
This reminds me one time I was trying out Geisha, there was this one team (3 doctors and a forward) every time I hit them/knock them down they just kept healing each other and were emoting at me whenever I got stunned etc. But I obviously won because no one was decoding :p
8:05 maybe you could've hit her through the window. Recently, I played as Wu Chang against a coordinator and she was on the other of a window. She just waited there and emoted at me because she thought I couldn't get her. Since she was very close from the window, and, you know, sometimes you can hit survivors right after they vaulted through a window if they are close enough, I just hit her and guess what ? It worked. That was most satisfying thing ever lmao. But I played with Black Guard Wu Chang tho, maybe it doesn't work with Joseph.

I have no problems if survivors emote to me, nor when my teammates does it, even tho it could piss me off sometimes I can just forget about it. And if I ever encounter them again I'm gonna watch their actions and such or if I eliminated them once then I can do it again:D
But in your video they seem a bit toxic, others are right about "Why harass/keep on going to hunter if you can decode" and that is quite suspicious of them, and if I were their teammate I'd be confused asf

In most hunter's opinion, it is. How would you feel if someone was kiting you while dancing? It's like saying you don't even scare me enough to concentrate, I have time to dance. But emoting after stunning is way worse... some hunters don't mind it, but personally, I find it rude. Do you feel good when a hunter is emoting at your chair? I don't think it's a respectful thing to do, but again, it's my opinion.
Tbh i don't mind or call then toxic if they emoting me infront exit gate (dance,agree,etc emote) BUT if they emoting me while i get stun, kiting, body block etc AND USE provoke emote.. nahh that's super toxic👍

As BQ I had a bad game but it was gonna be a draw, the last to idiots were emoting the gate (detention was still active) I mirrored over there and downed the doctor (she’s worse that the roach tbh, I HATE her as hunter lol). I picked her up before she could leave and got the win 🤷♀️

I didn’t see any toxic play (not starting any beef or argument) but if you think that survivors using their abilities to make sure (you don’t take a pic) or (for them to make sure the one being targeted runs) then no that’s not being toxic. Emoting isn’t toxic either, now if you’re at a door and emoting and at this point you know the hunter stops trying and the survivors starts actually abusing their abilities knowing they can leave, yes that would be toxic, I literally just saw a normal gameplay, even the survivor at the end gave up, he accepted defeat. So no this video here of (survivors being toxic ) isn’t toxic at all.

It is disrespectful, look at it this way, the hunter is trying their best to hit you but you're just dancing at them which for them would mean that you're mocking them for not being able to hit you (even if the emout wasn't meant for the Hunter, they don't know that, so they will think it was meant for them)
