      I think that is more of a procedural memory, something you practice over and over to perfect the skills. Muscle memory is more like a person who retains his muscles fitness after years of not training

      @ivanmiau9280 that's what I think, not what I know. Some skills that u practice over and over are that they can be carved deeply into your brain. In some cases, the skills can be identified down into your spinal cord. It has been observed in cats who had half their brain removed yet still walk with perfection bc the skills are so ingrained in their brain

More connections in your muscle across your whole body together than what's in the brain. The muscle itself remembers. You can see this even in static hold exercises, not just practicing striking combos or certain patterns of movement, the muscle itself will act elastically, ie, it holds the shape it's trained to hold, and will produce the movements and fire in a fashion that it has been trained to do. Even at that man's age, his body still knows EXACTLY how to respond to that approach. He didn't even have to think about it. That's muscle memory.

While Mike was known for his hook uppercut combo if you ever watch him fight, train, or teach he will do that same punch Cus demonstrates. If you could post links I would post a million of them of Mike doing that punch but I can't so i will just say you're not as big of a fan or a know it all as you think you are considering you don't know that as Mike's punch. Maybe you should study John Cena's special moves, or at least follow their namesake.

      @@joeroganstrtshots881 yeah so someone stupid enough to try it does so, he could literally just see the level change and throw a right or left depending on which side the punch would come in on, the shuffle isn’t just for show he can move quickly from it, both defensively and offensively your only hope would be to time it so that you could throw a ducking overhand as he stops the shuffle and throws his punch, he often did it just to get his opponent thinking and I imagine he was mainly paying attention to their movements rather than his own so again he could simply throw the opposite hand that the jab is coming in from

      @wasntme7845 as far as draft dodgers go, I'm rolling with Ali. There was no moral high ground in Vietnam and we ended up losing anyways. The horrors that came from it are still being felt to this day in basically every soldier that went there. He was rich and already served his country by generating jobs, wealth and entertainment as well as millions to the taxbase. I don't agree with everything Ali did but he was certainly a king in the ring.
