    Thanks for that Peter... mate your voice sounds good to me! I'm just a lounge room player myself but I couldn't start to tell you how much joy and stress relief the guitar has brought me over the years... I'm 62 now and love playing even more now than I did forty years ago. Thanks for posting, I'm off to learn your 'secret moveable chord' now.

    Any recommendations in books that cover that chord technique and shapes

      Don, I learned many of the chords by trial and error. Many of the chords came from Swing style, Gypsy jazz, Cowboy swing tunes. I like Mike Dowling instructional videos for instruction of Rythmn chords. learning swing guitar changed how I play folk and blues
