Okay let's be honest. This track is everything. The label didn't release it because they knew it would be a hit on the radio and they don't want Iggy to get anymore hits. Huge fan of this song get it girl

Plus why would a label not want her to have a hit? Hits make a lot of money, which goes mostly to the record label. If they felt that this was a hit, they would’ve released it. They clearly didn’t (they were wrong btw)
No, the entire album was scrapped as a whole because the 2 singles that did get released didn't do as well as they had hoped. There was a hate bandwagon. And for the cherry on top the album as a whole (including the music video for switch) got leaked.
Why would the label not want her to have success. If this was a hit they’d get a lot of money so that doesn’t make sense
@@jhondoe663 Wasn’t Team the only single released from the album before it was supposed to drop? And Team didn’t flop that badly, there’s lead singles that have done worse with well-charted follow ups from other artists

Brit Brit facts, Def Jam was ultimately the one to decide if the album was released. There was missed potential too. I’m sure this album would’ve been successful. I’m here for Iggy regardless though. In my Defense is out now, however I don’t feel the same quality from this scrapped project.
Kevin Boyles also that time she was beefing with everyone from q tip to ebro literally everyone was hating on her for no reason, maybe she didn't feel to fight hard to release the album.

If the label only gave Iggy her creative freedom, no doubt this album would solidify her career.
