Thank you for this video. Trying to learn more about the EV trip life part of ownership before I receive mine. I enjoy road trips. Planning is definitely needed. When I’m not traveling alone, I usually stop for at least a 1/2 hour and longer every 2.5 to 3 hours anyway in a gas car. I look at it to make the stops part of the planned road trip. Thanks again.

You only get 250kw speed at the supercharges when your battery is low. In the video you were past 50% showing the 77kw. It slows down the more charge you have in the battery.

Thanks for the feedback. I noticed the slow charging speeds even at a low battery level.

10:10 you meant to say 310Wh/mile not hour. Since I believe you said you averaged about 70 mph, how would have the original 21" Uber wheels differed? I believe there's about a 20lb difference for each corner.

Good point, I meant mile. Agreed the Uber wheels are heavier but they are aerodynamically much better. I have never had a chance to test the Uber wheels on road trips as I had them for a brief period until I couldn’t take the rough ride. I’d look at other owners’ feedback and they got roughly around 280-290.

Keep in mind the tire and wheel setup. Not optimized for Tesla.
