Some people have parents that enjoy helping out their kids with moving into a new place. And some don’t. Either way is fine, not sure why you have to try and tear him down.
I would totally French door that extra bonus space off the living room and put your office/gaming room. That way you can game and Casey can watch tv shows and you guys are still pretty together… I think that’s a much better plan, just a suggestion of great use of space🤗 LOVE that your parents are helping! That’s what it’s all about!
That's exactly my thought as well. I would not use the third bedroom for a gaming, editing room. Gotta keep in mind when his parents and Alexa go together for a vacation.

Kyle, the master shower door we have one and you’re only supposed to push it and pull it in word not outward. That will keep the water from getting onto the bathroom floor. I know it’s crazy and backwards but that’s the only way to avoid the water getting onto the floor.

Leave the bedrooms upstairs as bedrooms. Install French doors on the "bonus" area and turn into office/ gaming room. Then sister and parents all have their own rooms when they visit.

Congrats! The “crown molding” is the baseboard. All houses have that. Strange that the house is 2 years old and doesn’t have toilet paper holders, towel holders, etc in the bathrooms. Kudos to your mom for walking up and down all those stairs over and over. Installing ceiling fans isn’t simple when you don’t have ceiling lights.

Yeah for real. I have really never looked at his comments until now and I'm starting to see a lot of other viewers are feeling the way I feel. I like Kyle allot but he's starting to act extremely entitled. Also his general lack of knowledge on so many basic things. I really hope he takes a step back and realizes how he is looking to viewers is not good for the long term viability of his channel.
Seems like this generation is expected to have everything done for them so they don't have to lift a finger. I clean a bigger house than this and do my own yard work by myself with a bad back and a bad knee. It is time to grow up and show respect not only to your parents but to Casey. Casey’s makeup area should be within the master bathroom not the office. The office is for work and it truly belongs better downstairs and close off the room with French doors. Also don’t rush to make the home “perfect” all at once or else you’ll be left broke. Take your time and do it right. You have a long time there to do it all calmly.

I would stack the washer and dryer and put up multiple shelves or a sink to the right side. We did that with ours and the open floor space is nice.

The space you mentioned as a golfing simulator . . . I'd suggest it become your office where you can edit your vlogs and do all that sort of thing right there, near the kitchen for snacks, etc. However, IF Casey will be wanting to watch TV while you're doing your 'thing' that could be distracting. Only you guys will know for sure. But, a 'Den' or office near the front door will be nice for visitors as well.

The garage is definitely deep enough to have two cars pulled in and some gym equipment at the back near the door. It’s probably at least an 8’x12’ space he has there if he backs his BMW up about 3’.

Look into whole house surge protection. Very inexpensive when you think about all your appliances/equipment and what could get damaged during an electrical issue. Eaton and Square D make great models.
Also make sure whatever you do in your garage that you keep 36” of clearance in front of your electrical panel.

Congrats!! I believe I was 28 or 29 when I purchased my first home. Remember, as your family grows you guys will move to a bigger home down the road. Also, on that area across the living room, set it up as a sitting area for guests. That way when you have your get-togethers at your home you have enough sitting for everyone. Have the office in one of the rooms upstairs
