    Debt free and mortgage free…just got back from a 10 day vacay in Europe with 2 young kids and the wife. It was such a relief to spend and vacation without debt hanging over my head.

    When I became debt free I called in to work that day and went on a 3 day vacation being I had the weekend off. It pretty much told my employer I'm not beholden to them like I was when I was in debt.

    Well Done. Saw my parents lose everything due to debt in 2008 when work dried up but still had all the luxury payments. Made me so adverse to debt, I never touched it again besides credit cards I pay off every month for my business.

      You can build wealth while in debt. Just make sure you're putting money into something with better return than the debt apr + annual inflation.

      Stay focused! Debt is normal in this world and if you aren't careful it can dominate your finances and life. My biggest mistake when I was 24 was thinking that more money was always the answer and always thinking of money in the short and not the long term. Get out of debt, create a plan, invest and don't get distracted! You got this!

    • @DiamondEdwards
      @DiamondEdwards  2 года назад +2

      @Noble Knight Medraut Yes you can but just be careful. Personally, I like not owing anyone anything and knowing any money I invest is for the long term. Check out the book Money Master the Game by Tony Robbins.

      @@DiamondEdwards I agree! I personally don't like to anyone anything to. But the thinking if you have debt, you cannot be wealthy is mathematically incorrect. I will be paying off my car in a few months and no further debt.

      @@Lagann0 Math is not the problem, it’s risk! When we don’t include risk in our math we lose and most don’t factor in risk when signing up for debt.
