- Today I'm trying out Merit's NEW matte cream eyeshadows. I have used my neutral shade Studio a few more times since this video and I'm really loving it! I'll blend Studio in my crease and then pop a shimmer on my lid for an easy every day look.

What do you use to prime your eyes?

Paint pot doesn't have as much working time
The packaging is making me want them but your right … MAC paint pots for sure.
So many new (innovative 😒) makeup releases are things that MAC have already had. The brand was created decades ago by actual Makeup Artists lol
The paint pots tend to crease in my experience. Maybe these have a better dry down.
These eyeshadows are AMAZING for mature , hooded , and especially OILY eye lids !!! For us older demographic this is a dream come true !!♥️❤️🩷

Thanks so much for reviewing these! I started using Merit’s makeup stick and really liked it. I keep getting these advertised to me and was curious. I felt like $24 was a lot for a single shadow but I know a really good, not drying cream shadow is hard to come by. Curious if you think the brush is worth it? I’m mostly just intrigued by the tiny side because I would think trying to line a cream shadow with a bigger pencil brush could get messy, lol.
I do feel like you get a lot of product in this shadow too. I’d personally just use brushes you already have. The tiny side is nice, but I feel like it a little TOO small for my eyes lol

They look lovely but a little fussy. I don’t like worrying about product drying out and especially locking the container. Half the time my hands are damp or have hand lotion on them. I have very long fingers and narrow palms and grasping and twisting small pots is not easy for me. It’s a pass for me.

I haven’t tried this shadow without primer yet. It’s just a habit to always use eye primer lol
