It’s definitely worth it!! I own a ton of fragrances , both niche and designer but when you bring back an old fragrance that people aren’t smelling as much anymore, it sets you apart from the normal crowd and becomes a huge compliment monster.

Exactly, i think the same way. Few months ago i went to a party & i was dressed nice ect.. & i wore, Giorgio Beverly Hills (1982), & few younger people than me were responding to it & i remember one saying, wow! what are you wearing?! Another person who was old enough, asked me what fragance i was wearing, & when i told him it was Giorgio Beverly Hills, he couldn't believe it.

I am now in my 40’s still rocking it out and still as happy with it as i always been! It’s crazy how a scent could mean so much to you! So happy it’s still around and yet being glorified by many who still love it and enjoy it like myself. Great video!😎

It is still one of hour favorites , but the performance back then was amazing . I gifted my brother 2 years ago another bottle and while it still smells the same , it perform around 6 hours , instead of 12 ( and was projecting like a monster ) . It’s really good . Thanks for the review , a good clasic:)

Discovered this when I was 21 ( my sis was a fragrance girl in a local boutique ) I wasnt big on colognes due to some of them just dont mix well with a persons body chemistry ( you know who you are ). A 3 oz bottle of this last me well over a year due to only wearing a small burst of it at a time, the scent is soft and pleasant, at 49 now I still get compliments on what I'm wearing. I've 3 colognes I wear on and off JOOP! is and will always be my little go to scent, it is very faint during the day with just hints of it on me. My Wife has a small Teddy Bear she keeps on the bed when I;m not home that has a spritz on it of this cologne. Says it makes her feel safe when Im not beside her at nights due to work. Just give this stuff a try the price pint is very economical even in todays economy. Happy 2021 its almost Summer time :)

Joop had been solid a huge big hit and still complex and long lasting to most of todays boring niche fragrances.
Dior Homme ( smells of Guerlain by the way with twists added ) a hyped fragrance by the community has already been reformulated in all its flanker and original forms and not even like that the original already got taken out of the US market in stores and they had to introduce a whole different Dior Homme. Worked years in the fragrance industry and never had a soul ask for Dior Homme.
Its sales whats dictates the huge sellers and timeless works of arts not what the community want to make others believe.

What I loved about the original is how different it smells on me compared to the majority. On others it’s that really sweet scent we all know; on me, that known sweetness doesn’t pop, instead it goes wicked spicy and musky, even though musk isn’t a note. Naturally, I loved the uniqueness my skin produced, cuz it was gooooood.

Mulger, although I'm not knocking his fragrances, seems to garner undue hype, which has zealous fans calling his fragrances the first for everything while decrying other fragrances.

Steven, I had the original formula of this fragrance that I acquired shortly after its release and I got a "reformulated" one last year. And you're right. The scent itself hasn't changed really drastically like some other classics and it still performs very strongly. I must say, though, that the scent was noticeably sharper and richer as far as I can remember. This one actually came out when there weren't too many sweet fragrances for men and it was quite revolutionary and groundbreaking at the time in the market. I happen to still have a bottle of Jil Sander Feeling Man from the early 90s that was probably inspired by this one but it's more toned down and wearable. Unfortunately, it's been discontinued years ago and it's commanding outrageous prices on eBay these days.

The last time I wore this was in the mid 2000's. I remember because I was having a cook out and a coworker had used my bathroom and came out smelling so strong of Joop hahahaha. Now I keep about 4 different fragrances in rotation. I am kind of surprised this is still around, because I never thought of it as being very popular like Drakkar Nior. I never really had any friends that wore Joop and never saw it on any friends dressers, so figured it would be discontinued by now. I was also surprised to see that Cool Water has lasted so long too, although I remember really liking that cologne too.

Just got some at Burlington , cuz I am on a budget .. Smells pretty good , a lil outdated ,,, do kinda miss my Versace "man" with the blue snake skin box.. But I will say I do have to admit joop is a unique smell... There's this very upscale Arabic smell shop in Tysons corner mall in VA outside of DC. Very interesting, expensive aromas in there . Should check it out . Thanks for the review ! I could see this working in some good 90s raves :] probably now to...

Have bought my first bottle today for CA $16. Back in 1989 (when this came out) I bought my first Fahrenheit bottle in France (launched in 1988), saw the Joop! but never got to buy it. I now have. Love it.

Stellar video, Steven! I wore Joop! during the early 1990s, and loved it back then. I still like it, but given much more exposure to fragrances since then, it doesn't strike me nearly as striking as it did during the 1990s. Anyway, hope you have a superb day!

If I still have it, do I replace it, or use it? I have only a few scents. Is there any need to add to this? I was thinking of Dior EDP
    1) Joop Homme
    2) Tiffany & Love for Him
    3) Paco Rabanne Invictus Legend,
    4) Paco Rabanne Phantom, and
    5) Royal Crown Sultan

Many people who love and dislike this perfume. It is not a perfume I have used before. These perfumes made me curious. I ordered yesterday. I am writing from Turkey. Unfortunately, this perfume has a lot of fake here. I hope the perfume that will come to me will be original, not fake and I do not regret buying it.

I LOVE Joop🥰, but my wife loves the smell of CK One on me. I just love stuff that smells good 🤷🏽‍♂️. Joop for me last on me all day. I’d wake up the next morning still smelling like Joop, right before I jump in the shower. I didn’t know that Joop came out in 1989😳. I was five years old. I got into Joop because of my father-n-law. I’d wear anything as long as it smells really good to me🤷🏽‍♂️. But so far, Joop is definitely my go to. I need to try other things🤔

Intresting video my friend, thank you.
I understand your thoughts but i dissagree a bit, the awnser if it is stil worth or not depends a bit of the age of custumer.
A jung person who is born around 2000 can wear this pretty fine as a club scent because for them this is somthing new, they wasn't born when it was released.

I love joop. The longevity of it is awesome. It's not an old fashioned scent in the sense that it still attracts compliments to this day. Also is that a bottle of Aspen behind you? Lol haven't seen that stuff in years. Back in middle school that was the cheap version of cool water. Haha nice. If you get a chance, look for Design for men by Paul Sebastian. 1995. It's amazing.

I disagree completely. Joop is my most complimented fragrance lol. You have to remember that the vast majority of people that are smelling what you're wearing have no concept of fragrances. Your advice is basically for frag heads. Joop, Fahrenheit and Cool Water hold up well unlike so many others of that era. Buy it...girls love this stuff.
