You have great tips to a well done DIY cable, I may start looking for the parts to make a couple of my own. But do you have something showing how to go about upgrading some fixed cable iems adapting 2-pin sockets so I can connect them to upgraded custom cable/2-pin bluetooth receivers?
Can u tell colour code 3.5mm jack i have 6 Colour 4 wire Wire 1= golden Wire 2= green Wire 3= it has two wire red, golden Wire4 = it has two wire blue ,golden red I have tried soildering it in red golden blue green i think I have done something wrong but only one side working can u help me??
Hello I would like to know, these wires have a little protective coat that you normally have to burn to weld again, what is the best way to do this without carbonizing the wire thus making it difficult to weld?
Do connectors exist that don't require glue? A cable of mine has an MMCX connector with a loose connection, and thanks to it's one piece shell construction and glue it's impossible for me to take it apart to resolder the wires.
I'm actually a bit confused on the notch part .. I understand about the soldering part which is for right signal goes to right and for left signal goes to left. However when you house it in the 2 pin case, the notch is facing inwards which the signal when plugged into iem would be in the outer side near iem nozzle instead of the inner side. Possible to show this in more detail on iem which should be +ve and -ve ? hope my question is clear.
The notch should face the same direction as the faceplate. Rule of thumb for polarity, the top pin (when wearing the Iem) is +'ve for standard 0.78mm pins
Ah sorry! That was a braiding and finishing video, for 2.5mm I could upload one that I have done but basically it's TRRS with the Tip being R-, R+, L+, L-
Hi bro, a short question for balance cable like 2.5 or 4.4, the cable is simply consisted of at least 4 wire, right? 1 side needs 2 wires for + and - separately.
@@sgaudiohive my "asus zenear" have dead left side , i thinks that nice to replace it with kbear 4 core , but i dont know how the way . it is cheap eaephone , but i like the sound , even cheap but have gold round sounstage . i need to fix it .
This was really good and informative, but that background music is so annoying that it makes it hard to watch. I would suggest only having music when you aren't speaking. Or none at all
please teach us how to add ear hooks.
that was so pretty i also made a bracelet with the same braiding technique 😄

Can you please do a tutorial with MMCX connectors?
Could you do a step by step guide for changing connectors on an existing cable? say for 2 pin to mmcx?
up for this
Very interesting video! I'll try this.
Beautiful cable, I'll try it in my house!

Thank you! This was really helpful.

Most screw type metal pins does not require glue and can be reworked on. You can try apply heat on your pin and try taking them apart by twisting

The rubber Ring that you use to difference the L side of the R side... Where can I buy it?
Those are just heatshrinks
How do you disassemble it?
Can you give a link where you bought the barrel and y split?
The links should be in the description
Where i can buy those materials?
How does this cable not untwist where you only have 2 wires?
Hand braided will have a correct tension that will not unwind
Where can i buy this cable or whats it name? This will be dope on my quad

That is correct, we are trying to publish a all on one guidebook on pinout for iem and headphone connectors do stay tuned
@@sgaudiohive Thanks for advice and the good news
A bit more for 4.4 balance, I see the diagram and found that there is GND sleeve at the jack side. Would it be used for Headphone?
does this cables are 1 cored ?
Sir please post details of the all equipments and items are used in description panel.
Hey there am currently preparing for it
@@sgaudiohive What is the status of the info preparation. Is it true that the wire you use will cost around € 5 per meter (AliExpress)?
where do i get those wires?
Alibaba
what is the size of the wire? and the name?
I can't find pt. 1, have you deleted it?
I did not so it should be still there
why you speed the video , i need yo see how you soldier it carefully .
We have very detailed soldering guides in our channel

Goooood
You literally showed 15 minutes of braiding and fast forwarded through the difficult parts and the most crucial. Why?
I double checked, theres no braiding in this video, might be commenting on the wrong video I guess
There should be no difficult parts in cable building, the procedure had been covered in our first video

Yup the video was done years ago, all recent stuff doesn't have any music at all
