I love everything about this little piece. The colors you chose are so comforting and beautiful. I didn't appreciate the garden of leaves until I watched you create this. Leaves are one of my most favorite in nature drawings. I like that you gave equal respect to the painted areas and the drawn. I also like the way that creature in the lower right peeks through. This is quite beautiful ..I see of course a very oriental design influence & the colour palette is Edwardian ..I guess the transition between Art Nouveau & Art Deco..naturalist I'd colours with linear lines.Doing this technique kept me sane whilst I was desperately trying to recover from Covid 19 in hospital for 6 months & then 12 months in respite ..I went through hundreds of pens & my little much treasured box of Cottman watercolour travel set..I own 3 of them & my oldest believe it or not is 40 yrs old & still useable ! ..May I ask you when pen are you using ..the ink is so opaquely black it's lovely ..I find over watercolour sometimes the lens dry almost grey ..can you let me know what you're drawing with & is it watercolour paper ?? I've just subscribed ,love from England 🤗 ps..the soundtrack is sublime ! Have you ever heard any Brian Eno, Robin Guthrie & Robert Fripp..if not check them out ,perfect music to get spacey to and draw ;)😆
