I see a lot of infield but what’s going on with the outfielders?

No wonder baseball now sucks and has lost all its nuance, diversity, and soul. It's all rich kids going to clinics, being taught for money, and all being taught the same 5 things. Used to be that everyday kids were playing behind the school or in a field and only came home when they heard mom yelling that it was dinnertime. 80% of boys were playing and the best learned from experience and determination. Now 5% play and are never left to develop their own style. They are coached from cradle to grave and the game is stale and boring. Our national pastime has become the equivalent of upper middle- class polo. You don't need the money for a horse, but with all the equipment, clinics, and private lessons, it isn't much different. Sad shame that a sport for the masses has devolved into the sport of the priveledged. I see no Jackie Robinsons bouncing and baiting the pitcher on the basepaths, no Louis Tiant turning his back to the plate flummoxing the hitter, and no Kirk Gibson limping to the plate on sheer will alone. Helicopter parents and coaches in it for the internet bucks have drained the soul from this once proud game. 😢
