Love it! Is the Dollar Store furniture considered 1:12 scale? I've never made anything smaller than AG doll or Barbie but I want to make a smaller dollhouse. Using your tutorials and Dollar tree furniture for some of the pieces will help me get started. Your tutorials are very clear and detailed and I think starting with Dollar tree items will help me to transition to the scale and detail work of making smaller furniture. We don't have Dollar Tree here, but it doesn't look like we're missing out on much - their wood is just awful & the 'workmanship' looks like they gave it to a 3yo to assemble - no wonder you had to take it apart. I normally don't watch anything that mentions stores we don't have here, but I made an exception today because I enjoy your work. Imho the original materials dictated the standard & let you down this time. Sorry.
