Hello! On stream today we are building a top house from /r/zillowgonewild using only the photos and map view! I model buildings in 3D professionally, but I'm not sure if I'm up to this challenge.. Lets give it a go!
Subscribe to keep up with our home reno design series and if you have any design media or home tours you would like me to react to on stream, please send them my way! 😊
I'm Angorabuilds and Im an Architectural Technologist from Western Canada! While my professional background is in commercial architecture + interior design, my passion is small spaces, intentional spaces, DIY, and alternative living. I am NOT a designer by trade (I am a technologist), but I love talking about home design, urban planning, sustainability, ect. ect! Here, we can react to tours, arch/interiors content, discuss design news, and learn some new things together. Let's have some good conversations!

i love CC! if you dont have very many packs, I'd say go for it with the CC. If you do have packs or are planning on buying more, and prefer a bit of a challenge when building then that works too! also, if you ever plan to put any of the builds on the gallery, then CC does unfortunately make it difficult for other people to download them. but in my opinion, if you're building something to be true to real life, CC is the best way to make it as accurate as possible. and if you don't care as much about uploading to the gallery, then i think you're fine just using it tbh
Omg, this was super insightful, thank you! The interactions with the gallery are a really great point. I'd like to reach a point in growth where I can upload these real builds for others to download and renovate themselves, it'd be fun to review and compare what we all do differently! But for this build specifically, being as intricate as it is, CC does make sense!
@@angorabuilds yess i totally agree
