    negative space is as important as positive shapes. it can help tremendously in depicting the subject as accurately as possible.

    Great tutorial! I still struggle with being loose and it’s so frustrating! Could you please do a future tutorial on trees… different types of trees (acrylic)Love your work!

    🎨❤Thank you for this subject matter even though it's Oils 😢.
    But I've been enjoying some yew toobs lately that raise Bison and they're beautiful interesting majestic intelligent animals.
    So I'm pretty sure I will watch this in case I can somehow translate it into Acrylics.

      Thank you, the same techniques apply to acrylics but with more freedom! With acrylics you can just layer on top very quickly.

    A very generous long video - so much better than heavy editing, chopping and cutting, or - worse - speeded up videos which tell you next to nothing.
