I recently got the ILS Command. Basically I'm almost satisfied. If I have the Sound to Light mode active, the moving heads change extremely quickly. Way too nervous. This was also the case with the Gigbar (controlled without ILS Command) before the update. Great after the update. Now to my question: is there an update for the ILS Command so that the gobos change is slower? If so, how can I update the ILS Command? I currently have version v.14 on the ILS Command and on the Gigbar V2.06 Thank you for your feedback signal.
How do I select which moving head to use for Follow Spot? Currently when I press and hold the follow spot button both moving heads just stop rotating and turn off. Even if I set the X Y points and save I still can't get any of them to turn on or move as a spotlight.
I notice that the Ils gig bar moving heads are the same color and gobos in AUTO mode as long as the pars or Derby’s are on and both movers match. But, the movers are different colors and gobos and do not match each other in sound mode. Any one notice this as well.
Just got my Command. I’m struggling to get the follow spot function to work. When I hold go into the setting, none of the moving heads react. (Using 2 gigbar moves with ILS) Any help would be appreciated.
@@matlightfxproductions my display acts/shows as in the how to videos its just that the mover doesn't react. The fact that they show this w/o out explanation that it will work later or only works for some sucks. Also when setting up the Command for the first time you're screwed w/o watching a video since it doesn't say anything in the manual about putting your Gig Bar in Slave and RX.
Wow! What a major disappointment this has been. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ILS or anything Chauvet. Ever again. I ordered the command, the gigbar move, and two of the 4bars. First, no manuals. You have to have internet and a device handy. Second, they ought to perhaps train their authorized dealers on what is needed to make this stuff work together. Maybe clue them in how Chauvet wants another sixty bucks a fixture to make it work with the system it's supposed to work with. The command module is overblown, oversized and poorly designed. Especially, the idea combining the enter/select button into the x scroller. Finally, let's talk CHEAP quality. Plastic housings and the REAL kicker is the cheap n flimsy bags for the 4bars with... (I'm not making this up) just a thin strip of styrofoam tossed in there. Sent it all back. I'm dropping this review wherever I can.
hey@@louguzzo4977 if you're referring to your remote ILS 160's that are not fixed to the GigBar then NO, only the ones that are actually on the GigBar are controllable with the Follow Spot mode, at least that was the case the last time I checked.
Probably one of the worst explainer videos I've ever seen from a pro company. You can't see anything he's doing or how it affects the fixtures when he presses buttons. Tons of dead space. Also, "I want a blue light setting on the pars...so I'll save that preset button color as RED." ....what??
I absolutely agree. Nowhere does he explain that too use the Followspot mode the Gigbar itself (not the Command) has to be running Firmware v2.07 or higher and then you have to activate Followspot mode in the Gigbar menu system, where you can select head 1 or 2 to act as the followspot.

Why is the power cord so short? It's 19" long! I can't even get that to an outlet. I'll have to run an extension cord to it!!
😂

How do you use this controller with the Gigbar move (no ILS)
When I press and hold follow spot - neither of my lights react. How do I choose the fixture?
Make sure you turn on follow spot on the gigbar move ILS. its not on by default. Took me forever to find that out.
I need help y put the botton Follow Spot and the spot not respond
I did everything and i can not get the gig bar move +ils to connect wireless. If i connect it through the dmx cable everything works.
check to make sure you are on the same d-fi channel on both the controller and gig bar
Have the same issue, double-checked everything 20 times. Firmware updates are done too. Guess it is an hardware issue? 😫
Can you use the DMX wired for lights that aren’t compatible with the wireless
you can by d-fi dmx transmitters
Oooooh I just preordered mineeeee
ordered mine April 16, 2023 still waiting...
@@djRockalot they told me the end of August
Thanks for the heads up, dates keep changing!
@@djRockalot yea it was at first supposed to be late June early July but I think so many people have preordered it it’s gonna be awhile

I just got my ILS command. Turns out my Gig Bar is only move and doesn't have ILS. Can i still make it work? If so, how? Thank you

I am with you, just got mine as well and also cannot get followspot working?
Same here, no reaction in Follow Spot edit mode
Sooo I think it’s a software thing I believe as the software updates there will be a similar display on the screen

How many gig bars can you use on an ILS command
I believe you can have 2 ILS gig bars
Great Question. This is what I needed to know…
I’m assuming you would just mirror the settings and Slave it to get the same functionality.
Also, what is the recommended DFI channel setting?
16 is the least crowded
Does this work with the gigbar move?
The gigbar Without +ils?
you will need a d-fi usb or dmx transmitter
I have a gig bar 2. Just the 2 pars, 2 derby, and the lasers/strobes. Is this compatible with this controller?
if you buy a usb or dmx d-fi transmitter and plug it into the bar then yes
what if i want to control various lights from other companies using the DMX out?
You can’t.
Do you need a D-fi usb stick.?
Not for gig bars with ILS, but you will for any other fixtures with ILS, such as pars or swarms.
you don't need a Di-fi USB for the Command, its built in.
Connect hardwired with an XLR cable? Seriously? This is an official Chauvet video, I would expect better…
Did you only watch the first few seconds?
Huh?
MY ILS 160 Movers, do not have an ILS option on the setup option....where am I missing this? There is no follow spot mode on it either.
And yes, they ARE Chauvet 160 ILS
@@user-ij2zj5cn6ksame, any luck?
How do you control the second moving head follow spot I can only do one for some reason
Currently the follow spot function only works with one mover

Does this work for wash fx2 ?! Im so sixk od using dmx peogram
Just got mine and I'm not sure how I can get the lights to react to "sound mode"
you have to plug in your device using a 3.5mm headphone jack
Why is this system so non user friendly? I've got all the cables setup and canmot get the board to take control of the lights.
Can you control a gigbar move non ils by the dmx port?
yes
How? Please let us know
@@djchinolivecom4825 you’ll need a lighting controller to patch the gigbar into and to set the gigbar to the same address
Gig bars have pedal control😂😂
