    I have watched numerous Leaf reviews as I will be buying one as soon as a dealer gets one to sell. This review was the best by far.

      just paid a $5000mark up for my Sv plus sight unseen. didn't even get to choose the color. took about 2 weeks to deliver but I needed an EV quick. korean EVs have an average 6k mark up, mustang mach e's are about 10k mark up. tesla doesn't apply for the federal tax credit. bolt is probably the last option that makes sense but they will be meeting the tax credit quota so they may be disqualified soon

    I missed the opportunity to use the 360 camera while test driving Nissan Leaf because I didn't yet know where I can activate it manually :D happily I didn't scratch the car so no repair bill for me yay...

    People that complain about the fossil fuels used to generate the power for charging also fail to mention the fossil fuels used to develop, extract, transport, refine, transport, store and pump the fuel for petrol/diesel vehicles and its the same when they argue about the amount of fossil fuels used to manufacture EVs and don't mention the fossil fuels used in the manufacture of the petrol/diesel vehicles. I bought the 2022 40kw leaf and I'm really happy with it.

    Great video I love your new car. I felt like I was in the passenger seat you have a lot of pine trees in the area you live in. Nice neighborhood too. It was a fun little road trip to the charge station and see how it works. So how much was it?$$$$ I live in East Central Florida and it's hot as hell all the time. Can you make a video showing us the cooling system.

      Thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed the ride. I bought it with 7,600 miles on it for $26,700. Not bad considering it listed new for $42,550. More videos coming.

      @@HackaweekTV That's a great price. Where I am, it likes like the SL Plus is going for close to 29K at that mileage. I just got the 2020 SL Plus for what will be around 31K after the tax credit. It's exactly what I wanted. I just wish there were Chademo chargers where my parents live 200 miles away, but I'll figure that all out the next time I see them.

    I had a Nissan LEAF 2017 .. fun EV to drive, but I had to upgrade since its roughly-100-mile range wasn't cutting it...

    How did your fiberglass bike tank hold up? I’m too lazy to go check of course, but the algorithm loves comments, so...

      Wrong mix on the epoxy. It eventually leaked. Bike is long gone with a different tank.

    i looked at one of these but the market is nutty. i could overlook the shitty battery cooling and chademo and limited range but not for 40-42k. thats the same price as i got a kona ev that gets the advertised 259 mile range - and it has liquid battery cooling which the leaf lacks. and battery heat kills the packs real quick,

    • @HackaweekTV
      @HackaweekTV  3 года назад +1

      So far the battery has been doing fine with temperature. I bought this one with 3K miles on it for $27K. Even new they don't sell for list price.

    • @danielroden9424
      @danielroden9424 3 года назад

      @@HackaweekTV right its fine as long as you only do 30-60 mile jaunts. as soon as you stress it for long distance trips is where the problem is. one guy in norawy tested it on 200 mile runs and the pack climbed to 150F even with outside temps in the single digits. it has extremely poor thermal management. and on those trips where you want to go far the pack will be throttled so it will only take in only 15-20kw of power making it a no go for me.
