Just got off wonder. When I tell you the 365 ice show is out of this world my mind was blown over and over again! Between this and intense I would book again just to attend
Luggage hint.. when you get back to the mainland check out a luggage store, or even target sometimes, for a luggage tether. You can wrap it around the handle of one of your big rollers and the handle of your small one so it’s kinda like a piggy back ride for your smaller bag. That way you only have two to push around.
That's a great hint for anyone who is cruising or on other travels & takes multiple bags, not just Jordan & others working on the ship!! I was kind of tying mine together with a bag's long handles haha ;) Thank you!!
First and only cruise I have ever done was last July on wonder of the seas around the Mediterranean. My family and I loved it and can’t wait to repeat one day. We loved the ice show, 365, so much that we watched it 2 times during our sailing. The music and choreo is so fun. Can wait to see your vlogs showing it and see what solo you have. And the costumes were 😍😍😍

Well shoot, we sailed on the Wonder last week (March 12-19). I'm sure the ice show we saw was the "old" crew. Funny to know you were on the same ship, albeit in preparation mode. I'm not the biggest Oasis class fan, although I do love Central Park and the Wonder is by far my favorite of these behemoths so far. Good luck!
I hope the choreography is going much smoother now that you’ve been on the ship for awhile! I hope you’re getting along with your roommate since you were lucky to not have one last contract! That’s great that you can eat whenever you want!!

I don't know how RCCL works in this light, but knowing generally how the cruise industry is about officers/petty officers socializing with the rest of the crew, it says a lot of good things about you for socializing with non-officer departments.
We were onboard the Wonder of the Seas on 3/5/2023 as well. 😂 first time on oasis class. And we didn’t know that 3/4 was its 1 year old birthday until onboard. Love the ship, all the shows and foods. The 365 ice show was awesome. We noted that one of the performers fell twice. Hope she was doing ok.
it’s a beautiful ship! but regarding the falla… ir happens 😂 we are skating on a moving ship and jumping and lifting! no matter an amateur or pro, we all fall sometimes
@@jbauth understand. I just hoped that there was no injury. The ocean was kinda rough while on returning trip even on this biggest cruise ship of the world. The Intense was postponed because of safety. All the shows onboard were far above my expectation. You guys did great.
Wonder is amazing!!!! The only negative I didn't like were those dang magnetic doors. So loud! Pray your roomie doesn't pee in the night. I jumped every time!!! They also come open sometimes in rough seas, both bathroom and room door. Your door doesn't really lock since it's magnetic. Enjoy and can't wait to see all your adventures!!

Gotta love the name I95 corridor! Mostly cause we live so close to the real I95! Lol!! Yes, i have been on several of Royals I95's. Older ships, Brilliance of the Seas and Radiance of the Seas, lucky to have been in Owners Suites, which we got the tours back stage, saw the laundry, and food storage areas, and many other behind the scenes areas....including the back of the Theater, and been on stage, even got to mive with the Stage. Unfortunately, no ice rinks on board. Love your 1st day! Can't wait to see more! Vickie from SE Pa

We were going to board Wonder this October but when we worked costs for it as we would have been flying from the UK, it was coming back too expensive especially as my partner proposed last November and we want to marry on an RCI ship. So, we scrubbed Wonder for now, and going back on Anthem in September this year. Never know, we may cross your path one day😂

Fascinating, I see the learning of choreography being broken up into TikTok segments. Great tease for that final product! I guess we need to book a cruise to see it all put together.
I was on Freedom & than I was on Voyager we have not met but we were together on the same ship twice. My next I ll be in Europe so we do not meet this time. Nice video.
Hey Jordan. when you do install of a ice show is it a new show or the same as the other cast is doing currently.The four contracts you have been on has any cast member not made it and left the show because they couldn't get the routine.Have a great day .keep up the good work take care
It's repeated shows, that's why they have the numbers like Cast 17, Cast 4 etc... they learn the show from the existing cast member leader with video footage & seeing the ones performing it. I couldn't imagine those leaders having to make or learn a new show every few months & teach it!!!
They are heavy! Did you see the bonus knee lifts when placing them on the trolley? I'm not sure if that's a trick for shorter people or just anyone lugging those heavy bags?! I haven't had to lift my big suitcases for a while now, but I definitely remember hefting large duffel bags onto trolleys when I was alone!!
@@didiermcginnis Yep she is :) But when you put one suitcase or bag on that is heavy, it's doable... it's when you have to start stacking them & therefore lifting them higher & higher that they seem to double in weight hahaha :)

Love Captain Rob was different Captain would make speech over intercom "just relax take your time you are on vacation" lol :)
I am going on a cruise in just over a month and wanted to put together a gift basket for the stateroom attendant. As a crew member, what sort of things would you recommend for a gift basket? What kind of things are handy and fun to get?
Oh my goshhhh I can't imagine that routine on skates! I did dance for 14 years and I've been teaching for two, that's a lot just on feet!

Yikes! Good to know before going on Wonder. I can't believe they did not think about the contingency of rough waters when making that design choice.

Captain Rob was at the helm of Wonder for 2/19/23 sailing out of Port Canaveral. He’s great.
