@@mickadamzapparently they made some comments 12 years ago. I think you're good to still use the song. I didn't see what they said, but most people were ignorant of trans rights over 10 years ago. Education has increased a great deal in the last couple of years, which nothing bad was said on her part in more recent years. (From 10 minutes of googling).

The Brutus one doesn’t make any sense because Tigerstar’s father was out of the picture in his life and did not raise Tigerkit at all. His father actively avoided Tigerkit and his mate. I think what you meant is that Thistleclaw raised Tigerpaw to a weapon.
