Review of the Organic Farming Day 2024 in Aubonne

The Domaine d'Es-Bons in Aubonne/VD hosted the Organic Farming Day 2024, which attracted around 1000 visitors every day. The event brought together organic and non-organic farmers from all over Switzerland and offered space for exchange and discovery at over 20 stations. The topics covered included mixed crops, wheat and rapeseed varieties, sowing techniques and soil cultivation. Other stations provided information on fruit growing, viticulture and agroforestry.
Farmers were directly involved in the planning of the Organic Farming Day, in particular via the GIREB group. The feedback from participants was very positive and emphasised the importance of exchange.
The next Organic Farming Day will take place in German-speaking Switzerland in 2026.
