    Such a great tutorial especially in the beginning pointing to and pausing at the critical areas and moments one needs to and move their hands into a different position or to gently tighten their rows. Thank you.

    I made one in chunky oatmeal. Gorgeous! I added two chains so I could knit one on each end of a row to have that lovely chain finish on each side

    My notes for pattern in case you want to use. Love your pattern.
    Row 1 - Purl all stitches in row (R to L).
    Row 2 - K5, P3 end at K5 (L to R).
    Row 3 - K5, P3 end at K5 (R to L).
    Row 4 - K5, P3 end at K5 (L to R).
    Row 5 - Purl across (R to L).
    Row 6 - K1, *P3, K5* repeat, end at K1 (L to R).
    Row 7 - K1, *P3, K5* repeat, end at K1 (R to L).
    Row 8 - K1, *P3, K5* repeat, end at K1 (L to R).
    Row 9 - Repeat from row 1.
    The original pattern was 31 stitches (8x2 = 16 + 5 = 21 cast-on stitches) and measures 35x60. I want a larger blanket so did 37 stitches (8x4 = 32 + 5 = 37 cast on stitches)

    This is a beautiful pattern and very complicated. I think before I tried this pattern I'd have to return to the previous one that I think was done in Grey? You make it look so very easy. It really is it just takes patients and following the directions. Love all of your videos as well as your book.

      It is not the easiest pattern for sure, took me some time to figure it. There is a simpler pattern for Basket weave: ruclips.net/video/q_wpZcKixus/видео.html

    My blanket keeps increasing in width on one side. Is it because I’m taking bigger stitches on that side?

    • @BeCozi
      @BeCozi  2 месяца назад +1

      Maybe try to make stitches a bit smaller.

    • @BeCozi

      You would need to start with 13 more stitches. There is a description of the pattern under the video

    Does anyone's blanket not measure 35 with 21 chains?

    Could you explain *what the asterisk is meaning ? Thank you. Beautiful work!

    • @BeCozi
      @BeCozi  2 года назад +1

      It means that starting from asterisk, the stitches will be repeated: K5 * P3 K5 Repeat from *: Knit 5, asterisk , Purl 3 Knit 5, repeat stitches after asterisk (Purl 3 Knit 5 to the end of the row)
